There is a setting for Bluebell AC to have their strobes on. Located in the tools light editor (near the bottom). Also a gate editor for those parked AC.
For the free version clicking that option states to install the Bluebell XP. ??? I am really confused because I am trying the free version prior to purchase and even I have no traffic. No traffic, NO BUY!
I'm having trouble with (XP 11.55) the gates. I have to use the air-stair to board the pax. I was hoping X-Life could help with this. I've seen a demo on it elsewhere, and I like the looks of it. That's okay if you don't see the pax if you can see the gate connecting to the aircraft. Nice to see all this traffic at KSFO! Love it when the airport gets busy! Thank you for this demo as well. Your videos are top-quality and it's a real treat to see a "Q-8 PILOT" video!

Can't complain since it's free. But one major way to improve X-Life is to somehow create real world routes for the AI Aircraft. I'm not particularly fond of seeing an Ethiopian Airways Aircraft landing in Las Vegas for example, etc.

I would ask Q8Pilot how does he have traffic. Installed JAR airports? Free edition does not have traffic at least for me with a new just bought fresh XPlane 11 Install.
X-life is a good plugin. I own it, and paid for it back in the day. But be aware that it only work with airports that have taxi routes bind to the Airport you wish to land at and fly out of. Go in with your eyes wide open. For my home airport KWJF, I had to create my taxi routes with WED but once I did that, it works great. Bare in mind, it takes in some cases a lot of time in creating those routes and making them work right. "You don't build them in 5 minutes". My experience as of this post X-Plane- b15, I get crashes to desk top and have confined from my testing that it is related to X-life. But don't be discouraged, once XP 11 goes final and the Devs for the product update it, you should be good to go. I like it I could go on and on back I think I bored you all enough. Well the actions speak for themselves, what I've seen so far is there adding airports in the European area and then sprinkling in throughout the rest the world. I'm not for sure on this, it's pure speculation on my part. I think they're going with the idea of users such as ourselves of their product (who paid for it), submitting in our work we did for free then adding it to the list (IE.... website they have). And then review our work done then make it official. Exactly like what the developers of X-Plane is doing with airports. Neat arrangement for the developers have, put out the base product and that all of us improve the product at no cost to them. Nice arrangement (Sorry, I'm being a little sarcastic). As far as I'm concerned, I'm not too upset over it has long as the price of the original product is low for the justification of this type of development. Just my opinion and I'm sure others have different Opinions as well, because that's what makes a community great. I can go on and dig myself a bigger hole but I'll stop now. Cheers Dion

Most welcome Scott! xEnviro can co-exist with SMP and RWC but you will have to disable the plugin you want to run though the plugin menu. From experience though, I recommend that you have either xEnviro or SMP + RWC.
Very interesting. What are your thoughts if you wanted to use this on VATSIM? Like for example, if you were cleared to line up and wait but there is already an x-life plane there. I would love to use it on VATSIM to add more traffic, but that scenario might prevent me from wanting to do that. I guess I could just take-off through that AI plane since it's client-side, but that removes a bit of emersion.
Is it possible to set the default AIRAC 1710 used by X plane as the one used by X life. Seeing as the X life one is 1210 by default and very out of date?

what I would like to know, is how you still have airport trucks and other vehicles running around. While I still have traffic on the roads, and tugs do come out and push the bigs back from the gates, there are NO other trucks and vehicles rolling around now, like baggage or food trucks. And I always had them in this airport (SFO) before. UPDATE: In the case that some don't know, the Airfoillab's manager breaks groundtraffic addon. I only use it to update the plane, so I deleted it out of my pluggins folder, and everything runs great now.
Question: I have X life installed but can't figure out how to configure the correct traffic for the correct airport. For example, in your video here you have a lot of United traffic at KSFO which makes sense given it's a United hub. As for me, when I am at say VHHH (Hong Kong) X-life provides no Cathay Pacific and maybe a Frontier and obviously this is wrong. How can I fix this? Thanks for your videos! you can not... the united planes in the video are static aircraft coimg with the airport scenery. In the video you see, as soon as he fire up x-life, that an air malta a320 pops up which isnt realistic at all This fact actually makes the addon usless for me, as it bothers me more to have wrong traffic then no traffic. Hope somewhen there will be a proper (payware) add on for AI traffic but as far as i know, there is no one out there yet.

I was also wondering if you had any information on the proper way to make X-Plane 11 work with fscloud? the problem is when I am on fscloud in X-Plane 11 , people can see my aircraft but I am not able to see their aircraft. Do you mean do the airports come with x-life? The airports would be separate addons, but x-life has support for several of the freeware scenery for x-plane. If that didn't answer your question, please explain. Thanks buddy =)
These zip (x-life and bluebell as well) files are strange, structure of files and folders inside are not quite ready for straight extraction. But at least this video clearly shows how to make correct installation :)
great tutorial as always I do have one question for you I have the paid version of xlife it appears to me that there are only a handful of airports at this time that are supported for full ATC vectoring to and from each Airport. it is my hope that they will add more airports in future updates do you have any information to support this?

I think you went over that Navigraph thing too fast. For instance, you show the GNS430 folder with navdata in it. How did it get there? Exactly how am I supposed to update to the folder. I tried putting what I thought was the update into GNS and navdata, jets show up at the airport, but nothing moves, nor is there any info on arrivals and departures.
If you download the Xplane10 demo you can get the GNS430 folder and you can move that into your Xplane11 custom data folder. It works for me but I get a message that says "Nav data out of date" But it lets me use XLife and the Eclispe 550ng on board navigation equipment
Great how to video my mate, but I'll pass on this add-on until fully compatible. I don't like putting to many Xplane 10 add-ons inside Xplane 11, too many incompatible dll's = bad times lol. But great video regardless. Thanks mate.
Navigraph section is/was a bit hard to follow. Atleast for me since I'm new to X-Plane 11 and it seems that we need to 1. register to Navigraph in order to download the software and 2. It's a paid service. I think it's not known software for everyone. Also how to use the program and if I don't want to subscribe then does the addon X-Life will work without navdata on GNS430 folder?

The list of supported airports is available within the plugin menu. There are many and new ones added from time to time. For airports that are not supported, you will need to create your own routes using WED.
You need ground routes for the airports. Not all airports are supported in X-Life. For a list of supported airports in x-life, please consult the JARDesign website.
hi sir i am a p3d user but now a days i am playing x plane 11... and i play x plane online on vatsim ..but there is problem the another online planes are not looks realstic .... and the default aircraft are to much on the airpoart and i dont want to see the default aircraft during vatsim flight ...... so plz help me and what i have to do to remove all offline aircrafts from the airpaort and i am using squakbox....thanks
In my system, the BBXL aircraft does not have touchdown landing or takeoff smoke. I have this plugin for years and never had that effect. The default AI its ok but not xlife´s. Anyone can confirm?

Either traffic is not turned on or you are in a non-supported airport.

I completely agree, no traffic addon if you are using any of the online networks for ATC.

If your AI aircrafts are just stationary with Xlife that means the airport is not compatible or some other issue?

You can consult JARdesign website for supported airports. There are quite a bit, but not all airports are supported.

Just give it some time. Some plugins will take time to initialize. This will happen the first time only.

They will work independently of one another but yes they can co-exist.

Bluebell is a seperate download available on the org forums. XLife has not been made available for XP12 to the best of my knowledge.

I don't like putting to many Xplane 10 add-ons inside Xplane 11, too many incompatible dll's = bad times lol.

No there will be no change and no AI traffic!
Navigraph section is/was a bit hard to follow. Atleast for me since I'm new to X-Plane 11 and it seems that we need to 1. register to Navigraph in order to download the software and 2. It's a paid service. I think it's not known software for everyone. Also how to use the program and if I don't want to subscribe then does the addon X-Life will work without navdata on GNS430 folder?
X-Life will work without GNS430 folder as it comes with its own NavData.
Thanks! Got it working somehow but ran into memory problem. Some planes are on top of each other and for example in Helsinki airport there's no Finnair planes. Maybe I'll give it a go another time.

Navigraph or NavDataPro by Aerosoft is required to download the latest AIRAC.

The list of supported airports is available within the plugin menu. There are many and new ones added from time to time. For airports that are not supported, you will need to create your own routes using WED.

I dont know why, but i m not getting any planes in my sim, i got the kjfk DD payware and the flytampa converted scenary.
You need ground routes for the airports. Not all airports are supported in X-Life. For a list of supported airports in x-life, please consult the JARDesign website.

You can try (World Traffic 3) WT3 which released about a week ago.

Only supported airports. You can use WT3 for ai at all airports.

hi sir i am a p3d user but now a days i am playing x plane 11... and i play x plane online on vatsim ..but there is problem the another online planes are not looks realstic .... and the default aircraft are to much on the airpoart and i dont want to see the default aircraft during vatsim flight ...... so plz help me and what i have to do to remove all offline aircrafts from the airpaort and i am using squakbox....thanks
In my system, the BBXL aircraft does not have touchdown landing or takeoff smoke. I have this plugin for years and never had that effect. The default AI its ok but not xlife´s. Anyone can confirm?
