    I fell in love with this place after seeing the color scheme of Prairie Screamer, it reminds me of Michigan State University Colors, or the more vastly SUPERIOR sister in Ypsilanti, Eastern Michigan University (Go Eagles)!
    One thing that caught my eye was the food and dance area. Not only was there a cool-looking bar, but the stand next to it sold Elote - one of the most refreshing and delightful Mexican dishes known to man. 🥰

      Not familiar with that dish, but that's cool they have a unique option.

    I had a great time there on New Years Eve, a Saturday. There were enough people to have Prairie Screamer with a full train most of the day, which had it running great, and the ride ops were great. The flea market seemed so insane to me. I've never seen one anywhere near that big, but I'm not much of a flea market guy.

    Underrated park. Prairie Screamer is a frigging treasure. The spinny thing (the one that looks like El Sombero) throws you around and the ride can get intense. The Yoyo is one of few still tilting. Only downside is that 2 rides don't allow single riders.

    Seems fairly decent for a flea market park

    Traders Village bought Western Playland in El Paso.

      Didn't realize they bought that. Are they adding a market there?

      Not sure. I would imagine so.

    No one should expect much from a flea market park

    Why would a coaster of that size cost so much. Like think you can buy welded trusses for a couple hundred dollars. All this coaster is is essentially welded trusses with track on it. Coasters shouldn't cost anywhere near what they get for them.

    • @CanobieCoaster
      @CanobieCoaster  ปีที่แล้ว

      It's a reasonable price for a ride of that size.

      @Canobie Coaster I just don't get why though? It doesn't cost anywhere near that to produce a coaster of that size. Like i said it's just steel trusses welded together. And this one isn't even new in fact it's almost at the end of it's life.

      You need to take more than just the structure into consideration. Roller coasters are more than just what they look like. You gotta pay for the trains, and all the machinery and technology needed to operate it. For starters, you haven’t even bought the lift hill setup yet, so the train ain’t going anywhere 😂
      And construction costs are also added in.

      @Quix but the million didn't include setting it up. All thry got were a box of parts like a day roller coaster. If a car that has engine brakes and more is able to cost 25k why does a train that has ZERO electric components cost 250k it's just steel and fiberglass. I'm sorry but I really think the entire coaster market is engaged in price fixing like Samsung was back in the 2010s keeping lcd panel prices high. All track pieces now n days are prefab and are much cheaper to produce than the big old arrow coasters of the past. I really don't get why they cost so much
