Carb cleaner and Lanolin from Walmart is new to me.😊. I might have to try it. I use Scoutcrafters 50-50 mix on things to soak in overnight. I buy cheap ATF and acetone at garage sales. I use to make Eds Red but it’s even more of a pain.
My wife buys that cleaner for my clothes for stains too, carb cleaner I have everywhere, even the guys in my shop have it in and on their tools boxes, we buy 4 to 5 cases a year at work! I am not a big fan of that 50-50, like his videos though!
@@branned I use Wal Mart brand Carb cleaner, the brake cleaner sprays to much at one time and is more costly, be careful not to get it in your eyes if you wear contacts, it melts them, I buy by the case it is either 8 or 10 cans at a time, but I use it all the time, home and at work! I really cannot tell a difference except cost and spray pattern!
I live near Oklahoma City and there is a auction company here that does live and online auctions, I have not tried others in the area because I have had a good working relationship with this group, I would look in your area first, because shipping might be a factor for you, If you want to know about the one here, let me know I will give you the info, I do not know if they ship, I think that would be expensive! I drive to pick-up my items because I stay in a 60 mile radius!
@@DavidLee-fy7rd Hey sorry for the delay, I have been working a lot, I do not know where you are in Texas, but Bowie Tx has a trade days once a month, I have found good stuff at great prices, also Ft Worth has a good one my daughter lives near, we go there anytime we are in the area, also we go to Canton Tx to there trade days, great buys there and my wife likes going to all three!!!!!!!!
I bet the numbers 86 and 3 around the leather logo is a date stamp of March 1986.
Sir, I think you are right!

@@djstoolrestorations Dumb question? Do you use Carb cleaner or Break cleaner? What is the difference?

I use lanolin on my beard & mustache.
I get it in the nursing mother's aisle.
Very cool!!!!!!!!!!
Looks kind of like an Estwing design hatchet,
I was thinking the same thing
It is not marked, looking for an Estwing now to compare!
Can you recommend a good online auction?
