These are all types of brands, mostly USA brands, and I only have pennies in cost each, so worth it for me to clean these up! what do you think! would you have cleaned them!
Nice video, the Blackhawk sockets are 7/16 drive they made a hole set ratchets, sockets, and extensions that size . I found gun cleaning brushes work real good for cleaning the inside of sockets ,just put the brush in a cordless drill.
Just picked up what looks like a complete USA made Craftsman socket set from a sale on Marketplace. All the 1/4 short and extended sockets in SAE and metric, all the 3/8 short and extended sockets in SAE and metric and the 1/2 short and extended up to 32MM and 1 1/8 SAE. Got extra sockets that are SK USA one Armstrong and a 8 point Williams. Couple no name or Taiwan. Got various extensions in sizes for all three drives. 2 1/2 ratchets, 2 3/8 ratchets and 1 1/4 drive ratchet. All will have to be taken apart and cleaned. Sockets are in good shape, just a couple with surface rust on the inside, some time in the evaporust and some polishing and they'll look new again. Unfortunately no Snap-On in the mix. Sometimes I'll get lucky in buying tool packages and get some of those. I turn around and sell those at a good price because I know the Snap-On fan boys will pay top dollar for them
Sorry for the delay, having to work a lot! sounds like you did great, I like Proto and JH Williams better than Snap-On myself, and Snap-On has not been around as long as the others!
Nice clean up DJ. That mystery socket is a stud remover.
Stud remover, must be for older chevys!

Looking for some now! I have used the small brushes from Harbor Freight, but not that great!
Great job
Thanks!
Pretty sure the Mystery Socket is a Stud Extractor.
Copy that!
Now you just gotta find a 7/16 Ratchet to go with those Sockets.
I know, I am on the hunt!

Thank you sir!
Ya stud puller.
Thanks!
Stud remover. Is that special socket
Thanks!
This is going to sound crazy, but trust me on this. Try Pine-Sol in your ultrasonic cleaner. It's cheap, and it works.
THANK YOU, I will never dawned on me, will try this weekend!!!!!!!!!!!!
be careful with the wire wheel...some of the older sockets and wrenches were coated with cadmium...
I usually have my exhaust on but I did not want to suck all my cold air out, and you are right I need to be more careful!
