The SFX in this game are incredible. The beams, smoke, auras, everything is so goddamn cool. I just wish character animation were a little better in these cinematics.
Edit: The Super Vegito cinematic is an exception of course, that shits crazy.

@@LavaCreeperPeople Calling Vegeta's Final flash anti-climactic is like saying Goku's spirit bombs are anti-climactic. Vegeta's final flash was one of the best moments in DBZ and the majority of the fans think so. It was a huge part of Vegeta's character development. Also, It wasn't only the Final flash scene that they left out. Goku's IT Kamehameha, Vegeta's over 9000 scene, a proper SSJ2 Goku vs Majin Vegeta cutscene etc.
I'm disappointed because I love this game. It's my 2nd favourite right behind Infinite World. It was just so sad to see so many good scenes cut out for no particular reason. ALSO, there were a good few cool scenes that they just made with basic animations/frozen frames instead of treating them like the ones in this video. For example the one I mentioned earlier, the SSJ2 Goku vs Majin Vegita fight, which is my favourite fight in the whole series and a lot of other ones as well.
@@MAHDI-kw4pr I can kinda understand why they didnt include it, it mainly relies on anime to make the scene better, it's like goku going super saiyan, it was better in the anime because it had a longer time period of hik standing there, and the final flash relies on timing for him to build up his final flash without making it seem overly long, and if it's super short people would complain anyway, so to cut it entirely would be the best course of action
@@Not_Claptrap People wouldn't complain as much as now tho. If the cutscene was in the game, people wouldn't be mad no matter how it was executed. The Spirit bombs took episodes to charge in the anime and in the game's cutscenes they are done immediately, yet I never see people complain about it because atleast they're in the game.
What's making a lot of us mad is the fact that the developers thought that these scenes were not important enough to put in the game, yet they've spent countless hours putting worthless stuff in the game that no one cares about like the side story about what happened to Launch after he disappeared in the anime for example.
@@MAHDI-kw4pr I mean, that I can understand too, dont get me wrong, I hate how the final flash isnt in the game too, but the trailers always talked about how you can learn about things that were never explained in the anime, so for them to replace a vital but always used scene with something that was never explained in a canon source it would make sense in their minds, the final flash was used in almost every single story driven dbz game, but launch was replaced in seconds

I love how nobody can tell how the Dragon Ball fights are happening, just seeing endless flashes of punches, but when you become a real fan, you suddenly see everything happening.

I remember me and my little brother watching the gohan awakening was deep to us BECUASE this felt very real and the game graphics made us feel like we’re actually there which is what makes anime one of the greatest things in life

Bandai didn’t give cc2 enough time and wanted the entire z story, db kakarot could have been like the storm series
people love to jerk this game off, but legit, the music is quiet and not that good, the voice acting is lacklustre (who can blame them, they've been doing the same shit for 30 years lol)
and the cutscenes are poorly animated. the pauses between each line are painful too. now do i mean this is a bad game? no. its just a bad dbz game. the textures are great, the gameplay is fun, and the custscenes look good, but the animations though. they said they wanted to put more stuff in and make it fully complete, but they left important scenes out too. its a real shame.if it was all cinematics, itd be great. all gameplay, itd be great. but too much work for both. they seriously need to stop rehashing the same fucking storyline.

This game helped me get my 6 year old brother into dragon ball but I personally was disappointed. I’d like to see them put actual time and effort into making a game in super, but they actually follow the storyline

The game had so much more potential smh. Where’s vegeta’s final flash, over 9000, goku’s IT kamehameha against cell, USSJ trunks vs cell, goku and vegeta inside buu, snake way + king kai training, trunks destroying 17 & 18 etc.
They should’ve included some good filler like the otherworldly tournament. They especially should’ve cut down on some scenes and add way more gameplay to replace it instead.

Man, this game is so tame in comparison to the original anime. There's no blood, and most of the deaths were toned down (like in 2:46, where Piccolo was supposed to cut Babidi in half... I know he doesn't die there, but still).
