it kind of hurts seeing goku having to ask piccolo what his own son likes to eat because of how piccolo essentially raised his son for him. however I know that Goku still loves his son a lot, even if he isn't the model father he still cares enough about his son to wanna help support him wherever he can in his own goku way.
He asked it to Goten too, Goku is trying his best to please his son despite not knowing his favorite food is, I think that's thoughtful and fatherly of him
Man... I get Gohan doesn't like fighting and everything, but him becoming a scholar has contributed nothing of actual significant value to the show. Like its nice that he has a job he likes, but his intelligence never really plays into him being a better fighter when I feel like it absolutely should. While other fighters focus on training purely their bodies, Gohan and Piccolo seem to be the only ones intent on training their minds. Inevitably, every conflict in Dragon Ball boils down to how powerful you are, not how smart your are. And inevitably every single time there is a new threat Gohan undergoes the same character arc: 1. Doesn't train, is too weak to help when a new enemy shows up. 2. Trains and becomes the strongest non-fused character. 3. Either Wins the Fight or still loses, but either way will stop training once the threat is resolved and repeat back to 1.
You bring up a good point. Maybe Bulma could have given him a position in the company or had him work on something. They could have had a neat adventure.

It's even more brutal to watch considering Gohan's sitting on such a vast wealth of information, the type that he could use to enhance his combative abilities, from the Z-Fighters, his family, etc. He wouldn't ever have any problems if he just LOCKED IN! Future Gohan and Trunks would've killed to have as much opportunity as Present Gohan, to get as powerful as possible to defend Earth, to save everyone and prevent catastrophe! How does he not feel obligated to continue SERIOUSLY training and become as powerful as he can, like so many others would've wanted him to for the sake of the universe??? I mean seriously, if you combine all of the available training with his own intellect and give him a drive to want to continue training, he'd literally be the most powerful mortal in existence, BAR NONE! Plus, as you said, there's so many different ways of combining his desire to be a Scholar, protecting the universe and training! There is no excuse! There should be no goddamn reason as to why a guy like Gohan can't figure it all out! It's beyond infuriating to see Gohan waste his potential and hold himself back just because he 'doesn't enjoy fighting'. Such a stupid and unnecessary dilemma.
Props to DBZ Kakarot for making Dweebhan still look Buff
Lol he's training in secret
Maybe we’ll witness that epic SBC unleashed against Cell Max, someday!

Well if piccolo didn't kill Goku and kidnap Gohan, then the kid would have had a chance to at least be with his mom.
They didn't even invite Goten..lol
Probably busy with his new girl lol
@@pizamogaming3538I was thinking the same thing lol
@pizamogaming3538well,better than nothing😂
That's ok. He and trunks are off making the local fast food places out of food.
Of course. He's out on a date.
I miss playing this fun game I still need to get back into it finished the main story and with the DLC. 😅
Has to ask Piccolo what his own son likes…Piccolo is the real father
A Sayian having to ask a species that doesn't eat about sounds like a potential good joke.
This joke is so done. Get some new material.

Actually, Gohan's intelligence and becoming a scholar does end up helping everyone on Earth if we go by Dragon Ball Online's timeline.
Having smarts in combat does help. You can strategize and outwit the enemy.

Never watch dbz food scenes on an empty stomach
Did the game developers had to make Chi-Chi look old?
"Story rewards: *Romantic* Apron"? UhhHHH
Definitely that's for chichi's costume😂
The great idea would be for goku to eat it all for him😁. But videl is such a great wife to make him all that😁😊. Pretty rare
Huh? Wasn't Gohan with another haircut last year?
Haha yeah
