this gotta be one of the best DB games. It's actually faithful, and shows story like a real video game so even people who never read or watched DB could follow and fully enjoy it. I'm impressed as someone that grew up with the 2000s games. A while hour of cutscenes in a dlc, released 2 years after the games initial release? these gotta be passionate devs

I miss the old English VA for Kid Goku. I didn't mind so much when Kid Gohans voice was changed for Z Kai... but hearing it for Kid Goku... eh. (I'm aware there were Flashback scenes in Z Kai with the new VA voicing Kid Goku) But that's just the way she goes. Still very well done, and it's great to see Dragon BALL done in this quality.

You know my only gripe for the DLC is the brief character blurb for Teen Goku at 9:00 since it's A dragon ball themed dlc u feel like they shouldn't have alluded to the fact goku was a saiyan in the DLC at all. Granted ik that in this day and age everyone and their brother knows goku is a saiyan. I'm say it to keep the theme, cuz for kid goku his character blurb is "the boy who challenged demon king piccolo"

I would literally do anything to one man the whole red ribbon army with Kid Goku. The Map is there so is muscle tower and the red ribbon base. The nimbus cloud is in the game and now we have kid goku. The Kakarot Map would be the most fun to explore with Kid Goku due to his lack of flight and only having the nimbus, everything would feel grounded.
Yeah, maybe the DLC could start off with Goku vs. Master Roshi and then cover the events of the Red Ribbon Army Saga. DLC 4 added a character model for Grandpa Gohan even though he only appears in a pre-rendered cutscene. It would both strange and interesting playing as Kid Goku after finishing the story because he would be grounded and wearing Shu's gi.
It's gonna take me forever to get used to this new voice actor for Kid Goku. Even after hearing this voice for GT Goku in Xenoverse 2, I still wasn't big on it. I'm definitely in the minority here, but that's just how I feel
Cyberconnect2 continues to prove that they are the masters of anime game cutscenes. Imagine what they could for the rest of OG Dragon Ball. That would be awesome. Or maybe even Dragon Ball Super and the movies.
I just finished the story for this new DLC a few hours ago. Now I'm just trying to level up to beat the gangs and gather D Medals. This was a great DLC but way too short. The Bardock one was longer. Thank you for uploading the cutscenes. The animation is beautiful.

In my opinion in 2020 CyberConnect2 should have made a Dragon Ball Origins game 2:10 when Goku was a child that tells his story of the first season from Episode 01-153 for all consoles it would be a good start to play DB and already to 2021 or 2022 it would already be Dragon Ball Z Kakarot and later it would be DB Super and DBGT this is how it should have been done like Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm did in 2008 the story of the first season Here would be the final battle of Dragon Ball Origins (EP 143 -148) 29:03 such as Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm (2008) the final battle between Naruto and Sasuke (EP 128-134)
I would love another game called Dragon Ball Kakarot & Dragon Ball Super Kakarot I feel like there's too much content for them to just be DLC's they should stick to movies & tv specials. Playing this DLC made me want a OG DB game even more
I just dont really get what the point was. This was essentially just a tease for original dragon ball and i just wanted more of kid goku. They should have done like a highlights dlc going through all of the best moments of original dragon ball instead of doing only the very end of it leaving us wanting more that we may possibly never get. In addition to if we do get more it will all be presented backwards with its release since this was their starting point. Overall i still loved it and im happy that original dragon ball is finally getting high quality coverage in a recent game but this could have just been done better. Which seems to be a theme with kakarot "it was amazing i loved it its one of the best dbz games...but this that and this other thing could have been done so much better" and honestly so much of what would make it better is actually very simple to include. We get only a single fight with kid goku, why not make the endgame more of a sandbox and let us switch to kid goku in freeroam? Why not find a way to include the world tournament as something you can just enter with any character in the main game? Which is something we should have had since day 1 tbh. And then as far as main game we still dont even have the option of outfit changes. They have every single outfit you could think of and most of them you only use for like 20 minutes and never get to use again unless you start a new game and make it to that part again. Kakarot is one of my favorite dbz games ever but theres SOOOOO much missing that would be so simple to include. Even fusion wasnt implemented as something you could do freely until like a year or 2 after the game came out.
