There’s actually a very good reason Gerber didn’t include a lock or stronger detent on the driver. It doesn’t need one. If it folds on you while you’re using it, you’re using it wrong.
The slim version has a better locking retention on the drive. But at the end of the day I don't have a problem with this tool as it is not meant to replace a hard-core tool. But even without a strong lock for the driver, I am sure this still is better than other screwdriver tools on other multitools.
