Peter Capaldi was BORN to play the Doctor. He literally embodies every part of the role perfectly in his performance. I hope he stays just as long as Tom Baker did. Hell, even longer.
Anyone still saying Peter Capaldi is too old.. Remember.. Doctor Who's first actor was over 50 years old: William Hartnell. Jon Pertwee, the 3rd Doctor, was 60 at the time of playing the role. This show is found off the backs of older generations, not young, energetic roles such as David and Matt (Still love them all)
Jon Pertwee wasn't 60. Hartnell was 55 when he took the role and Capaldi will be 56 when his first episode airs. I agree, he's not too old. He'll be great.
I'm kind of glad that they're aging the doctor again. Honestly, in the last three Doctors we've seen the Tiger, the Tigger, and the uncoordinated Housecat who pretends that he meant to do that after falling off a piece of furniture. How can you top that with more younger actors? To attempt to fulfill 10's legacy is near impossible.
what i like about peter capaldi is.. this man can be VERY VERY dark when he needs to be.. i mean.. did you see the look he gave the camera in the 50th anniversary? matt smith was silly and fun and stuff... but peter capaldi truly is "the oncoming storm"
I don't know man, Matt Smith could get pretty damn dark when he wanted to. Remember A Good Man Goes to War? Angry Eleventh is NOT someone you want to have to deal with.
We'll see what Capaldi does with the role. I do want to see a more serious Doctor now since we have had two light ones. I think the audience is ready for a change of scenery. It's hard to guess which direction Capaldi will go since he is really good at both comedic and serious roles.
OhWellWhatTheHell1 Mate, try and find a clip of Malcolm Tuckers angry face. The dude has THE best angry face in the entirety of the world, i am so hoping for a grumpy doctor.
That man has the craziest eyes I've ever seen. I have no doubt that his performance as the Doctor will be absolutely terrifying in a very, very good way!
I was freaked by the anger in those eyes, but then thought, not anger but extreme determination for "Mission Gallifrey: Location and Recovery" I assume Peter's doctor will be consumed by his search.
Revisiting this years later, after Capaldi's moved on, and I gotta say... I really do like that the post-2005 Doctors like each other a lot more, and are a lot more supportive and encouraging, than the Classic Doctors were to each other. It is really almost a defining aspect of the Classic regeneration episodes that the Doctor actors largely hated their successors (such as Hartnell having hard feelings about losing the role to Troughton, Pertwee despising Baker, Baker despising Davison, etc). Glad to see more camaraderie and encouragement among the subsequent Doctors.

Thats good to see not everyone judges them if they are too old :) Im just glad to finally have an older Doctor i hope it means hes gonna be more intelligent thats something i loved about the ninth
Lol I have in a way been hoping to for an older doctor. Someone not so old that it takes away the action in doctor who but someone old enough that they can pull of the 'i'm a thousand year old timelord' thing lol Don't get me wrong I love Matt to death but in some of the scenes where he mentioned his life and everything he experienced it just came of as silly because of how young he is lol. I hope the new doctor can be the right mix of intelligent, fun and dangerous :)
Billy Buddy Really, do you think? Sometimes I looked at Matt playing the Doctor, and the thing I really liked about him was the fact sometimes in his eyes you could see all that 1000 years worth of knowledge and pain, and despite how young he was, I thought his Doctor actually seemed pretty old.
Silver Breeze im not saying he was bad Matt rocked in fact up till now he is my favor i'm just saying that this new doctor has the potential to be even better

man you could tell he was chocked up at the end when he was speaking to peter. I really wish they woulda had him do it a few more years, matt was great!
Acc0rd79 Matt's contract was actually due to end in 2014 so the original plan was to have him do season 8 too. Matt decided himself that It's time to quit.
I'm glad to see that we are getting another older doctor. Not that Tennant and Smith were very young. but it will be nice to see an experienced actor play The Doctor. :D
I was wrong about Peter. I thought he was going to be dreadful. But he's become my favourite Doctor, and I adore his quirky, gritty style - and those speeches! Thank you, Peter. May Gallifrey be with you wherever you go.
I think it had its moments but the start of Series 9 is promising. I think the problem is, they were writing Smith Episodes for Capaldi. Season 9, they wrote Capaldi Episodes
Im 40 years old. i've been watching WHO since Tom Baker. I have survived 7 regenerations!! Trust me, Peter Capaldi will bring the show to a new level, just like all the actors before him. Trust the story and the show and we'll all get a wild ride. And remember, be faithful to the Doctor, not some actor. Regeneration and a new actor is all part of the thrill and why this show keeps going!
I remember watching this live. Been waiting all day for it, I'm bouncing in my seat. The announcer says his name, and I honestly don't know it. Which is fine, I don't know many famous European actors. Then he walks out, and I see him. And the first thing I thought was 'Oh. He's old.' Terrible thing to think, I know. But as I watch his interview, I start to see it. Yeah, he's older than I was expecting. But this guy, I can see it. I can see him being the Doctor. Good luck to him. And now we're here, and he's become, without question, my favorite Doctor.
DimensionChris it was one of the longest most epic in the history of the show. You're not counting ONLY that last 2 seconds as the regeneration are you?
Matt smith was a great doctor just like every doctor in their own way the raggedy man will always have my love but as a fan of the series I knew what I signed up for by taking this show into my heart and that means I freaking adore the doctor no matter who he is and the new doctor in even his short time on his first time on show has already shown brilliance just waiting to happen Matt brought heart felt moments and intensity then epic scenes with comedic tones and enthusiasm , who the wonderful writers make this doctor to be I know he will be amazing down to each detail .
I feel like he's gonna be my favorite Doctor. David Tennant still stands as my fav. but this guy... just look at his entrance, he just looks epic, and his version of The Doctor is gonna be a little anti-heroish with a dark tone to his personality, I wonder if he kills in this version, because in the trailer he says "am I a good man". Peter is so epic and awesome he may take the spot for me as best Doctor
Glad to see those beautiful eyes at the cinema yesterday, that was one of the most thrilling moments of the movie, and he was only two seconds, imagine him in his first episode, it is something to be excited about.
dominicpond3.75Adventures well maybe his companions were so awesome that they downplayed his brilliantness.... but i dislike his character very much when it comes to comparing the doctors
Watching this again to prepare myself for his regeneration. He's a modern classic Doctor, he's The Rockstar, the coolest and kindest of them all. And the one with the best speeches. So please. Please don't change.
Nicole Song, I am the same age as you, and I feel exactly the same way. I never like it when people say that they don't like Peter Capaldi because he is "old" or "not hot." In fact, Peter is my favorite Doctor, hands down.
Peter capaldi got his start in show business playing in a rock and roll band in which Craig Ferguson was the drummer. Craig's favorite show is Dr Who and so I wonder if he will make an appearence.
Craig's already been telling like half his guests he's friends with the new Doctor. It's so cute, he's just grinning about it constantly. Then again I can't blame him.
I remember watching this. I didn't even know Peter was in the running at the time. If I had, I would have thought "He'd be an amazing Doctor, but there's no way in hell the BBC would do anything that awesome like cast him in that role". Knew from the outset that he'd be my Doctor, and so it proved to be.
I'm gonna cry when Matt Smith goes, I didn't properly start watching until him and I think I latched onto him as "my" Doctor. But I do love the show overall, and Peter Capaldi is certainly going to be interesting, maybe back to being more mischievous whilst still caring. Definitely won't be one of those who stops watching just because the people of Doctor Who know change keeps things interesting :)
Just like all the rest, the actors have been able to play The Doctor and make you believe that they truly are 100s of years old. Peter will have no trouble doing this too, i think he is gonna be a hit and possibly my favorite Doctor ever.
People say He started being the Doctor at the end of "Time of the Doctor". I say He became the Doctor the Second he walked onto that stage with the Theme playing in the background.
It's not the 1st time they have had Actors/actresses play minor roles in doctor who and then move onto major roles. Just look as Freema Agyeman. She appeared in "Army of Ghosts" as a Torchwood 1 scientist and then she was casted as the doctors new assistant as Martha Jones and they mentioned in an episode that the 2 characters were cousins to each other to account for the same actresses. In my opinion I think this is a great move for Doctor who and I think Peter Capaldi will do an excellent job as being the new Doctor.
wow didn't know that either. I'm honestly not bothered if the don't explain as to why peter was in Torchwood or in the fires of Pompei. I think if they do make some explanation it would be too far-fetched to be believable. I think they should just sweep it under the map and leave it and pretend he was never it it. that's my opinion at least
24 hours before Capaldi was announced I said to a friend of mine I said “I bet Peter Capaldi is the Doctor” when he was announced I shouted “I was right”
Peter Capaldi went to the same drama school with a friend of my mum's when he was eighteen, and he went dressed as Tom Baker! His Doctor Who fandom goes back a long way...
athomicritics Would Matt have been the 13 doctor? Don't forget about David Tennant in Journey's End, he used the regeneration power to heal himself and then grow his spare hand into another him. This counts as a regeneration as well. This makes the newest doctor 14.
dataloreforever Nope. when he made a second David Tennant from his hand, he was a human doctor. (he only had one heart) He used the regeneration power to heal his hand, but he did not have a new figure. So it was just healing and not regeneration.
My current favourite Doctor is Christopher Eccleston, but I have a feeling that that might be changing as soon as I see Capaldi's first episode. Can't wait for him to start!
At first it was hard for me to accept mr Capaldi, but he turned out to be the great Doctor. Some of my favourite episodes are of his seasons. I miss him... When released a rock music album on 2021, it was a big shock and pleasure for me)
This happened over two years ago, and Capaldi is well into his tenure, but this still makes me so giddy! I had no idea how he would turn out as the Doctor when he was first announced, but after almost 1 1/2 seasons, he is my favorite Doctor of all time. I love watching this to see "where it all began."
So to sum up this comment section: "Thank god Smith is gone! He was terrible because he was young!" "Why is the new guy so old? He's terrible because he's so old!" "You have no right judging Capaldi by his age! I, however, have every right to judge Smith by his age. That doesn't make me a hypocrite, right?" "He's actually the 13th\14th\123rd Doctor, get it right!!" "MOFFAT RUINS EVERYTHING!" Yep. This fandom is just full of assholes and idiots, isn't it?
When I refer to David Tennant as the Tenth Doctor, everybody keeps calm. When I refer to Eccleston as the Ninth and Smith as the Eleventh Doctor, everybody keeps calm. But when I refer to Peter Capaldi as the Twelfth Doctor... "HE IS THE 13TH (or 14th sometimes) DOCTOR WAAAAAAAAAAAA". Please...
I thought that Peter would be very cold, and not very grateful. This really surprised me, how young and fun he acts, and how much of a Doctor Who fan he turned out to me! Looking forward to his domain! Wonder what his catchphrase will be.......
They are all lovely. I also enjoyed Peter and John. But my fav. of the new era is Christopher Eccleston. They are different, of course. But I loved the Doctor from the North. Most planets have a north.
I remember watching this and thinking who's he? I never seen the thick of it and never heard of Peter capaldi! But now series 9 and his 2nd series in, he's brilliant as the 12th Doctor. Long may he continue! X
+Ionut Maris Happy New Year to you too. Just before this video went live and the event happened, people had a strong belief that Idris Elba would be the new Doctor and made an insane amount of fan art.
As much as I will miss Smith, just as I missed every other Doctor when they regenerated, I'm really looking forward to seeing an older personality in Capaldi. People are saying that he's too old, but that's just because most people started watching in the Eccleston/Tennant years, and from then on the Doctor has been younger-looking. But there was always a great mix of age in the older Doctor Who series, so I think it's great they're bringing back someone a little older. I think he'll make a great Doctor and I'm looking forward to seeing what he does with the role.
Peter Capaldi would play a perfect Grand Moff Tarkin if a STAR WARS spin off gets made that's set between Episode 3 and 4, it's amazing how close of a resemblance Peter Capaldi and Peter Cushing have.
Peter is right because Doctor Who is an extraordinary show and not just British or American television, but television in general. I mean it's about a man with two hearts, from an alien planet that can regenerate, and he travels around space and time inside a box that's bigger on the outside. Whether you like the show or not you have to realize the originality of the show and it really deserves its fifty year airing celebration and I see it going another fifty years.
I can't believe it's been almost 4 years! I remember watching this, but Peter has exceeded all my expectations! He's an AMAZING Doctor I don't want to see him go :(
Peter is an amazing Doctor! I've met him twice and you can tell he loves being the Doctor. So glad they chose him. Has anyone stopped watching since Matt left? I hope not because PC is better :)
tbh he'a not better but he's just as good they are pretty much different doctors so its stupid of people to con pair but peter is good i haven't warmed up to him yet because I'm not sure if i like the story line for capldi matt smiths was amazing though
Peter Capaldi was BORN to play the Doctor. He literally embodies every part of the role perfectly in his performance. I hope he stays just as long as Tom Baker did. Hell, even longer.
10 years for Peter Capaldi!!!
Robert Lythgoe Capaldi has said that he's staying as the Doctor "for a while", so it's possible he may go longer than Baker. :D
Yes! Yes! Yes! Capaldi for 10 years ;3 my body needs that.
it think season 10 might be his last lmao plus they won't make him stay long because a lot of fans don't like him, i like him but just saying
~ Hipnarla ~ What fans dont like him? He's perfect for the role. These 'Fans' that dont like him are just fangirls that fancy the younger doctors
Am I the only one that wants to see Peter and David Tennant with like a 2 hour discussion about their favorite Classic Who episodes?!
Absolutely not.
Nope!
I do!
I think it would take them longer than two hours, but they'd be able to edit it down to a two-hour special, I'm sure.
That’s completely sane.
"Lots of planets have a Scotland!"
We knew that since 1987.
Love that
Tennant: have a word?

Peter Capaldi ought to be congratulated as having the most powerful voice of any Doctor - in the 50th anniversary special.
Peter then went on to be the best doctor since Tom Baker and one of the best Doctors of all time.
I really like Peter Capaldi's performance as the Doctor, but still, I don't think he beats David Tennant's.

its "do you know how to fly this thing"
man you could tell he was chocked up at the end when he was speaking to peter. I really wish they woulda had him do it a few more years, matt was great!
Im positive that fans of David said the EXACT same thing
Techy2112 Oh I liked them both but this was the one I saw where he was all choked up! I never saw one from the other guy.
Acc0rd79 Matt's contract was actually due to end in 2014 so the original plan was to have him do season 8 too. Matt decided himself that It's time to quit.
I almost cried when Matt was speaking. I miss him even though I haven't gotten to Peter yet. I WILL MISS YOU FOREVER MATT!!!
I'm glad to see that we are getting another older doctor. Not that Tennant and Smith were very young. but it will be nice to see an experienced actor play The Doctor. :D
***** 55...
***** Capaldi is 55. Matt Smith was the youngest at 26.
was i the only person who heard "peter capaldi!" and went:
wait who?
*Doctor Who?*
Nope, me too.
50th like!
I was wrong about Peter.
I thought he was going to be dreadful.
But he's become my favourite Doctor, and I adore his quirky, gritty style - and those speeches!
Thank you, Peter.
May Gallifrey be with you wherever you go.
I love Peter as the new Doctor. the 8th season was really funny and i can't wait for the 9th season to start.
HollowGaming September 19th... !!!! \o/
Series 8 sucked. Anyone with basic acting/writing knowledge can tell that.
I think it had its moments but the start of Series 9 is promising. I think the problem is, they were writing Smith Episodes for Capaldi. Season 9, they wrote Capaldi Episodes
+Cardinal Ximenez Series 9 is great so far. But I maintain Series 8 sucked balls.
Lone Wolf
However, series 8 was not as terrible as series 7. x)
Well, geez, now after watching the video, I just want to watch a Capaldi/Smith team-up.
If Matt ever comes back for a special, I hope he gets to meet Geronimo!
It's amazing how 3 of the big actors in the future episodes of doctor who were in fires of pompeii, there was amy, rory, and capaldi
I'm pretty sure rory didn't make an appearance, but yeah, the doctor and amy both did
Foozdood77 correct
Foozdood77 Really? I thought rory was one of the romans... oh wait that was when he waited as the lost centurion nvm xD
which character there was rory?
Simon Minaric Just a guy in the background I cant remember which exact minute though
He had to be fanboying so hard and that's one reason I just love Peter so much as the Doctor
I can't believe this was nearly a year ago, that's gone really quick.
:(
Now?
@@Lalerato I can't believe this was over 7 years ago, that's gone really quick!
@@areyouaUFO yeah, same
@@areyouaUFO I have to give you props for commenting on your own comment from 7 years ago. Good job.
Never knew he was a life long fan, even less that he was playing the Doctor since childhood. Good on him.
Still not ginger.
It was what Tennant wanted.
DimensionChris no, matt also said "and i'm still not ginger!"
Dragonmots Yeah I know that...Matt's Regenaration was like the quickest one ever
DimensionChris I kindly ask you re-watch the episode... Matt's regeneration is truly about 15 minutes. (The SWITCH on the other hand.)
DimensionChris it was one of the longest most epic in the history of the show. You're not counting ONLY that last 2 seconds as the regeneration are you?
When he grabs his lapels like Hartnell... gets me every time.
Matt smith was a great doctor just like every doctor in their own way the raggedy man will always have my love but as a fan of the series I knew what I signed up for by taking this show into my heart and that means I freaking adore the doctor no matter who he is and the new doctor in even his short time on his first time on show has already shown brilliance just waiting to happen
Matt brought heart felt moments and intensity then epic scenes with comedic tones and enthusiasm , who the wonderful writers make this doctor to be I know he will be amazing down to each detail .
We took Capaldi for granted...
Matt Smith was so cute, but now is time for brilliance not cuteness
dominicpond3.75Adventures
well maybe his companions were so awesome that they downplayed his brilliantness.... but i dislike his character very much when it comes to comparing the doctors
My favourite was David Tennant
Katarina Nina
David was the best, and he will always be... however seeing that no one can compare he is offically out of my ranking system
I go for 9 as my fave new era Doctor.
*****
we are only talking about the new ones, the classic doctors are being left out of this conversation for now
at 0:37 he's doing the Hartnell lapel grab! he's such a doctor who nerd i love him so much
also his face at 6:28 is just precious
It is insane this was already ten years ago, just insane.
WHO is watching this while waiting for the 10th season ?????
+overthemoonwithme lol
I'll miss Peter Capaldi 😭
Berat Ahmetaj I'm watching it again and series 10 has finished
Kangaro Movies Watching this while dreading who will be announced as the new Doctor tomorrow.
Eveline Waschitzek I can see why you were dreading
Almost a year later, I am completely in love with this guy and I think he's the perfect Doctor.
Watching this again to prepare myself for his regeneration. He's a modern classic Doctor, he's The Rockstar, the coolest and kindest of them all. And the one with the best speeches.
So please.
Please don't change.
+1
Nicole Song, I am the same age as you, and I feel exactly the same way. I never like it when people say that they don't like Peter Capaldi because he is "old" or "not hot." In fact, Peter is my favorite Doctor, hands down.
I'm so glad that there are actually more and more people liking Twelve.
0:36 Don't you just love his little Hartnell there?
Btw, if someone said I was the hero of a whole new generation, I'd have a nervous breakdown.
0:23 a bit of tom baker
DarthRushy And the 1st Doctor returns Christmas 2017 enjoy
Peter capaldi got his start in show business playing in a rock and roll band in which Craig Ferguson was the drummer. Craig's favorite show is Dr Who and so I wonder if he will make an appearence.
YES! YES! YES! PLEASE!!!!
Craig's already been telling like half his guests he's friends with the new Doctor. It's so cute, he's just grinning about it constantly. Then again I can't blame him.
I really hope he appears on the show again, it'll have to be soon since Craig Ferguson's leaving the Late Late Show at the end of the year.
It's 2022 and I still miss this man...
2022 still at it even 8 years ago
I cannot wait for Twelve, been consistently excited for 7 months
you sadly have to wait till autumm :(
Why?
thats when the new episodes will air :(
Mat Smith looks so sad, I feel sorry for him :(
he does :-(
2:38
"She said, 'Hello Doctor!' and I started to laugh. And I haven't stopped laughing since."
Always laugh hard, Peter Capaldi, we love you ❤️
I remember watching this. I didn't even know Peter was in the running at the time. If I had, I would have thought "He'd be an amazing Doctor, but there's no way in hell the BBC would do anything that awesome like cast him in that role". Knew from the outset that he'd be my Doctor, and so it proved to be.
can't believe he's leaving this only felt like yesterday
6:19 You can see Matt Smith on the tv saying, "Wait guys! I'm still here!"
I love Peter! The second he was announced, I jumped up and down in my living room whilst spinning and clapping. Luckily, I was alone at the time.
Peter has now officially overtaken David Tennant as my favorite Doctor.
Same here!
Same but instead of Tennant or Smith it's Pertwee.
Tennant forever!!
Nah David will always be my favourite I don’t care no other future actor can take his place
@@ASS-tb3mq awfully closed minded of you :P
2022 now and wishing he was still the doctor ❤️
Just like all the rest, the actors have been able to play The Doctor and make you believe that they truly are 100s of years old. Peter will have no trouble doing this too, i think he is gonna be a hit and possibly my favorite Doctor ever.
People say He started being the Doctor at the end of "Time of the Doctor". I say He became the Doctor the Second he walked onto that stage with the Theme playing in the background.
I can't wait to see Capaldi play the Doctor. He's an excellent actor. x3
Hello I need help. .I don't know how I can send video 4 me.. I have nice simple magic
Colin Baker was in it as a minor role before he played the doctor too
I didn't know that, thanks.
I've heard that their is going to be a explanation to how he was in both Torchwood and Doctor who
funny you should mention that because remember the fires of Pompei. well, Karen Gillan ( Amy Pond) is in that episode as well as Peter Capaldi
wow didn't know that either.
His Doctor Who fandom goes back a long way...
capaldi is going to portray a much darker doctor. im really excited to see what this is going to look like.
dont forget now that we establish with the war doctor that Smith is the 12th doctor that the 13th doctor become at a certain point : the valeyard

Would Matt have been the 13 doctor? Don't forget about David Tennant in Journey's End, he used the regeneration power to heal himself and then grow his spare hand into another him. This counts as a regeneration as well. This makes the newest doctor 14.
dataloreforever Nope. when he made a second David Tennant from his hand, he was a human doctor. (he only had one heart) He used the regeneration power to heal his hand, but he did not have a new figure. So it was just healing and not regeneration.
piano man
It's my second time posting this but this article helps.
www.ign.com/articles/2013/11/26/matt-smith-is-the-13th-doctor
My current favourite Doctor is Christopher Eccleston, but I have a feeling that that might be changing as soon as I see Capaldi's first episode. Can't wait for him to start!
Capaldi rules the stagee ^^ i love Heaven Sent, he was so good in this episode ! Appreciated!
Heaven Sent rules!
So to sum up this comment section:
"Thank god Smith is gone! He was terrible because he was young!"
"Why is the new guy so old? He's terrible because he's so old!"
"You have no right judging Capaldi by his age! I, however, have every right to judge Smith by his age. That doesn't make me a hypocrite, right?"
"He's actually the 13th\14th\123rd Doctor, get it right!!"
"MOFFAT RUINS EVERYTHING!"
Yep. This fandom is just full of assholes and idiots, isn't it?
Yup, you're right.
***** agreed on that defo
***** Meh, he might not make the best things, but he isn't horrible like many (MANY) people claim. Just my opinion though.
Just like every other fandom.
GBD1000 You do know that Peter Davidson was only 29 when he began playing the Doctor?
When I refer to David Tennant as the Tenth Doctor, everybody keeps calm. When I refer to Eccleston as the Ninth and Smith as the Eleventh Doctor, everybody keeps calm. But when I refer to Peter Capaldi as the Twelfth Doctor... "HE IS THE 13TH (or 14th sometimes) DOCTOR WAAAAAAAAAAAA". Please...
Funny thing is, he's actually 14th...
Flaming Pizza umm 13th
Nope. Matt was 13th.
no matt was 12
YoshiPlays Games No matt was 26th capaldi is 30th i am 0th
This man IS Doctor Who
Time to take a final bow
Like all your other selves
Number 11's time is over now
The clock is striking twelve's
I thought that Peter would be very cold, and not very grateful. This really surprised me, how young and fun he acts, and how much of a Doctor Who fan he turned out to me! Looking forward to his domain! Wonder what his catchphrase will be.......
I have a feeling that hes gonna be a great Doctor.
I lost it at about 6:21 when there was just casually matt's doctor coming out of the TARDIS in the background
he alright not quite getting as good as tennant and smith but he's warming up to me
Lol rip
Honestly, I don't want them to do this when there's a 13th Doctor. I want to be surprised. I want to be shocked.
+Potatonomy
No, you really won't. You say you would like that, but in reality you really hate that. Give it a thought.
Ionut Maris The rumors would be enough hype. Remember the Idris Elba rumors? They pushed me over the edge and sent hype through the roof.
Potatonomy Idris Elba rumors? No, please explain, if you want to of course.
Btw happy new year.
+Ionut Maris Happy New Year to you too. Just before this video went live and the event happened, people had a strong belief that Idris Elba would be the new Doctor and made an insane amount of fan art.
Potatonomy Oh, really? Well, rumors always spread fast. It would have been cool though.
Its funny his debut episode is over a year since he was announced i cant believe its almost been a year
Best Doctor of the modern era.
Best ever!!!!!!!!
Their names are even close.
Wait... Peter Cushing was General Moff Tarkin? WOH.
whitenerdymoonwalker yep and he played the character perfectly.
Grand MOFF Tarkin. Interesting.
He's an AMAZING Doctor I don't want to see him go :(
He seems really nice!
I've been in Who fandom for many years and I don't think I have *ever* seen all of fandom so happy about a new Doctor. I can't wait to meet him.
