Must been so hard to play out a scene so emotionally charged and then have to do it again as the other version of you and usually when someone acting they are acting with or off another character across from them wine how they filmed the scenes where Jason interacted with other Jason's probably have some random stand in so Joel had someone to speak to when acting those scenes I'm guessing cuz the screen is usually only on one of them at a time so that's my guess cuz I feel like it would be weird for nobody to be standing there from his point of view haha
They won't find them. Rick Sanchez will show up and go into clean-up mode. He doesn't need that kind of heat whilst still trying to lay low. Besides, he doesn't want this amateur to steal his schtick and get all the credit for multiverse travel AND cloning.
Or a version of him. Every choice he made created a new one. And every choice they made and every choice they made and every.... Infinite number. The box is crazy.
I personally don’t. He not only destroyed the other Chase’s life, but the same time he destroyed several other peoples lives even by trapping two different Ryan’s.
The book was 10/10 and the show didn’t disappoint as well. However, I would’ve loved seeing Jason and his family moving into a much cooler reality. Greatest show of the year.
Yeah I thought that too but also like that its down to your imagination. Greatest show of the year for sure and I think even on my Mount Ruhsmore! So good.
The problem with “infinity” is that once you really start to think about it, nothing ends up mattering. For example, there would be an infinite number of “original” worlds where Daniela and Charlie are without their original Jason, and there would be ZERO way of telling who really belongs with who.
Agreed. What matter is the line that you get invested in. This Jason and family, that Amanda. For all the sad Jasons saying good bye theoretically there are Jasons who found a happy spot somehow.
If you go further with infinity that means there are endless versions of you or you yesterday or you before you read this or even endless versions of you who didn't read this or endless versions of me that made it to this point to write this or not write this or not even born or.......... Arggghhhhh now I have anxiety, I wish I was then endless version of me that didn't have anxiety..... Stopppppppp
Doesn't really matter, except to those that are living in that world. For an observer, the show is like, what plot do we want to have? Okay, let's watch that world where that happens. The world line that we saw is no more real than the world where all the Jason 1s decide to have an orgy party with themselves.
It does matter because it's the choices that define us. No other Jason is exactly the same because a new one is only created after a choice is made. Moral of the story, every single choice you make matters.
@@puertogreekn8675 I generally agree that our choices matter of course. What I'm talking about is the plot of "finding the world I belong in" would be pointless because there would be no way of knowing if you chose the right (original) one.
After watching the season finale, I realized that I am the Jason 2 of my life. I am obsessed with my career and don’t have many friends, and this episode is a complete brain fuck for me. Especially when I heard Jason 2’s voice memo. It made me question everything.
I realized this years ago. I met the love of my life 18 years ago, but we didn't end up together. Years ago I tried reaching out to her again, but she blocked me off. I've been phantasizing about the concept of this show and other possibilities for years. Just like Imposter Jason I've accepted that the train has left the station in this real world.
Yes it‘s a curse and blessing to be ambitious, I know what you mean. On one side, you push trough all this academic stress and work related shit like a mf, but at what cost? I don‘t want to die alone
There are a lot of people like that. Especially women who chase bad boys, reject the good guys and dive into their career, only to then end up single and childless at 40.
The biggest "problem" I have from a logical perspective is how there is a box in each world they visit? It seems that just visiting a world permanently creates a box there where there was none before. It seems the box itself, and not just its contents must be in superposition. But if that is so, then how can it be in superposition when people outside the box are observing it? This is something they just didn't address at all in the show. I get that they need to have a box to return to in order for the plot to work, but the writer should have come up with some sort of explanation for this phenomenon. To me, the whole thing would have been a lot more "believable" if the box disappeared from new worlds as soon as the drug wears off. Meaning they would have to actually construct a new box in that world to travel again. But I see how from a plot perspective, this would have been problematic. Overall, I liked the show a lot, despite the sheer preposterousness of the "science" behind it.
@@ozzybloke4830 Yes maybe you are right. But the problem with that explanation is that if that is true, then that means the world the story starts out in (Jason one's world) didn't exist until Jason two built the box in his world, then traveled to Jason one's world. That doesn't seem logical to me. At any rate, it is a small thing and didn't really ruin it for me or anything. I just would have liked to have a better explanation about it in the story is all...
There was a really interesting AMA on reddit with the author, in the television reddit. He answered a lot of questions and even hints at his plans for a season 2 if they get one. Which i hope they do, i really enjoyed this.
@@hero303-gameplayindonesia8I can't wait for that, this multiverse scifi series Is not boring as other multiverse scifi, literally can go on endlessly
It is possible the reason why all those Jasons wanted them to go into the box is so that there would be then tons of Daniellas and Charlies made and each one of them could have one.
The Desen Family story is over, however next season will most likely follow, Jason 2, Amanda and Ryan. With Jason 2 trying to get back to his world or the other Jasons hunting him
The story isn’t over still plenty to show with them like what world did they go to? what happened? but next season will definitely show more of Ryan and Amanda with a bit of a cut into the desen family and maybe show what happened with the council of Jason’s 😂 bc I’m interested to find out where they went from there considering they don’t have any ampules
All of this would have been avoided if Jason 2 would just approach Daniella in his universe ( later on in his life ) , propose & get married to her . Since she is still not bitter about them breaking off all those years ago. There...problem solved
Exactly 💯 having multiple versions of himself fighting for one version of Daniela is absurdly ridiculous 😅😂 I mean Jennifer Connelly is definitely super hot 🔥 but just use a ampul go to a different world where she exist and problem solved...😂😂🤷🏾♂️
The moment the box was created, everything that happened became inevitable. Even if the Jason 2 we follow would approach Daniella, there would still be infinite versions of Jason 2 who would choose to kidnap Jason 1 or do something else entirely.
I love how they followed the book's ending and added enough that made sense for the visual medium. Now that the "main" Jason's story is completed, I would love an anthology format for new seasons where we follow a different person / family. They can even fold in the other threads, like the other travelers and their multiple "clones" which will inevitably appear from their decisions, to keep a link with this season.
Is there a sequel to the book? If it's not then no. It ends perfectly and I think they explore every dilemmas there is. We need more mini-series with 1 or 2 seasons and not milk it to dead. Although I thought when Jason slipped a few ampoules in Amanda's bag was gonna be a big plot point. I'm glad they didn't do it.
@@Dukelord1 everyone keeps comparing it to the book but as well all know books and movies/shows aren’t the same but I haven’t read the book so idk what’s the same and what’s different if it’s the same just bc the book ended that way doesn’t mean it’s the end of the show.. the ending anyways makes it obvious they could be doing a season 2 don’t get me wrong it’s a good ending but I think there’s more they can show/do and if you want it to end there then don’t watch it if they bring out another one..
Technically every time the camera cuts we could be seeing a different universe. I noticed that when we first see the Toyota Rav4 that "imposter" Jason buys Charlie, it's a third generation Toyota Rav4 (year 2013-2018). Later in the show it's a fourth generation Rav4 (year 2019-current). Continuity error in the production team or evidence that we never see the same universe twice!?!?! 👀
I love this idea! Also there is no reason Jason1 should be more of a Jason1 than the other Jason1s. Right? Just because we see his perspective doesn’t mean all the others aren’t valid. All Jason1s shared the same universe until they were abducted by Jason2 and put in the box. However, if we accept that anything that can happen will happen then there are infinite jason2s and infinite Jason1s and the whole thing falls into chaos.
Yes, it is very possible they creators of the show did that on purpose. They did this same thing in Rick and Morty even from season 1. After having seen many multiple reality sci fi media, i had this thought the moment i understood how the box worked. They really should have named the show "The Box". This would have been so much more fitting since it the the McGuffin of this show. Also would have avoided the confusion of being named the same as that other Dark Matter sci fi show from 2015. The moment Jason created the box, it was also created in a million other parallel worlds in which the conditions for its creation were similar. The moment he stepped into the box, a million other Jasons also stepped into theirs, and so on. There is no difference between Jason and all the other Jasons that returned in the Chicago Prime universe, because they were all created the moment Jason travelled through the box. The only reason the "prime" Jason reunited with his family was because of luck and the fact that he was the first to contact Daniella at the police station. It could have been any one of the "sane" Jasons that didnt have too many traumatic experiences in their travels with the box. He just thought of it first. So basically we dont even know if the Jason that got with his family is the Jason "prime" and doesnt even matter. He was simply the lucky one.
Wild none of ya mentioned that when Jason and Amanda were in an alternate Chicago partying. While they were on the dance floor, you can see Leighton dancing in the background laughing and having a good time
Woooow!!!....just Wow!! This to me was by far one of the best episodes...just seeing the other Jason's making that hard choice to let them go into the box knowing they mite never see them again had me in tears. When that other Jason stepped up and said "why does he get to be with them?" I felt his pain. Can we just big up Joel Edgerton for his outstanding acting especially in this episode and just channeling the hurt, the pain, the anger, the regret in each version of Jason!! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 This show blew my mind and am here for season 2
I was wondering about that. I don’t think we can make sense of the science behind it because there is no science behind it. It makes sense enough to tell a compelling story.
There are an infinite amount of Jason 2’s as well. Like the Blair who died from the wasps. Just not in this specific world. There is no reason for it. Other worlds will have a Jason 2 choosing to replace a Jason 1 as well. Possibly by doing the same, possibly by unaliving a Jason 1. An infinite amount of Jason 2’s are messing with an infinite amount of worlds.
Every version of events could have happened including a Jason 2 that stalked Jason 1 for a few weeks and decided not to go through with it as we see in episode 7. The moment a Jason invented the box he created a multiverse of boxes and posibilities. You can also consider that every time we hear the "finger snap" sound effect we are seeing a different universe. Someone already pointed out that the Rav 4 Jason bought for Charlie is not the same Rav 4 model we see in episode 8. The creators of the show did this on purpose to plant the idea that we are always seeing different universes in each episode. They did this trick in Rick and Morty as well. Now you can have fun watching the show again and trying to spot the tiny differences of continuity in each episode. Enjoy :D
Theres probably a version where everyone agreed to joint custody and Daniela is loving every bit of it and having the time of her life with hundreds of Jasons
I was almost doubting if it was the real jason that travelled with them. The one with the wounds that told all of them “let them goooo, move” felt like its something the real jaspn should do
There is a catch in the episode that nobody is talking about… The paint in the wall near where Jason 2 was tied up changed during the episode. It may be a continuity issue but in a series like that everything happens for a reason.
Is it just me that found the season finale subpar? What happened to Amanda storyline What happened to Leighton storyline What happened to blaire who pepper sprayed jason? I loved the season but feel like last two episodes haven’t been up to scratch
stop copying and paste you saw what happened to amanda and leighton they gonna save more for szn2 the only good question is what happened to blair but obviously since all the jasons was at the box they obviously let blair go they dont care about blair or killing her they just wanted the wife and kid.... no more copying and pasting this comment bro
Not subpar at all. If everything came to a close then they couldn’t leave room for a season 2, which was obviously hinted at the end with Blaire 2 returning to the box, and Ryan locating Amanda to help him build a box. The only thing I wish happened was a news report saying several bodies of the same person were being found around the city.
I just want a spinoff show now called 'Jasons' or 'The Jasons' and it follows all the Jasons around in Jason1's world. I'd like to imagine all the Jasons banding together and getting a house or something and trying to integrate themselves into society. Think about it like a lighthearted finding yourself kind of comedy series of all the remaining Jasons doing Jason things.
In the final episodes, all I was thinking was that are we following the original Jason or the show is tricking us, but at some point I realized they were ALL original Jasons, the only difference was their choices after the abduction. So to Daniela and Charlie, they are all the same person from their world, the one they knew is in all of them. The “original” Jason was just lucky enough to talk to them first.
so its like sliding doors meets the MCU multiverse, or maybe the flash multiverse. only in this series, the 2 different lives are maybe only just slightly out of sync with the other. but the confusion only started when more Jason's were added. and it wasnt until the last episode that anything was explained at all. i knew there were multiple universes, but why did the first jason get it wrong sooo many times for there to be hundreds of the same person? the one thing i thought the writers did really well was the way we were able to track the Jason from the first episode (the kidnapped one). the scar on his nose, none of the other Jason's had that scar. it was a little detail that helped ground us so we knew where we were. overall, a great show i hope Apple TV really does bring back, though im not sure where they can go from here. the whole series was about Jason getting back to Daniella and Charlie, and he has that now.
They did way to much with these last 2 episode's it got silly. In my opinion there was no need to do all that. There's no logical reason for 100 different versions of him to Vie or fight for 1 life when the premise of the show is multiple choice. Especially when there are multiple world's 🌎 where you could find another Daniela with a different life scenario.🤷🏾♂️ writer's got lazy....
@yungjus1 , that's a fair point, but I think that maybe you missed the subplot. The underlying problem they all had was Daniela, and their need to be with her. In effect, they shared the same conscious mind that drove them. Then you talk about multiple choice that was never going to work. They all wanted the same thing and were going to get it no matter what. From the moment Jason2 stepped out of the box, with the burning desire to effectively change the past. And that's what ultimately set him/versions of him on this one destructive path.
One thing overlooked is how the ending hinges on Blair being an absolute badass in what must have been a very tense and confusing situation. Would not have blamed her if she just froze
The box spawns infinite versions of whoever goes in. That creates huge plot holes like, why weren’t there also infinite Jason2’s that showed up in the original world?
infinite versions of anyone related to or knowledge of the box. Chaos theroy would be the end to this experiment. Super genuis Jason would know to destroy the box and walk away laughing. State of a persons mind can be altered by drugs so anything can effect your mood. The intended and unintended possiblities remain a variable.
@@dffndjdjd Regarding your first paragraph: What I mean is that there would be infinite Jason 2's going to Jason 1's world to kidnap him, etc. The problem with the infinitely spawning people is that they would immediately overwhelm every world, because every infinite combination would play out an infinite number of times.
There's one more significant plot hole no one mentions. There's an infinite amount of worlds because of different decisions people make, people in Jason 1's world make decisions after he leaves, so there should be infinite Jason 1 worlds (large infinity because many people) so how come all these jason 1's come back to the same world?
What I'm saying is there is no 'that world' that Jason 1 was forced out of anymore, but rather many different versions of it. At some point they explain that new parallel universes are created with every decision/choice (this aplies to everyone) so when Jason 1 is forced out of his original world 8 billion people left in it make decisions and with each one new parallel universe is created almost the same but slightly different. By the time he comes back there should be infinite versions of jason 1's world that branched off.
Pretty accurate except a few minor mistakes. 2:20: Jason2 didn't build The Box to see what his life was like if he stayed with Daniella. He built it because it was his life's work. But when he explored the worlds and found Jason1 and seen what his life would be like if he stayed with her he decided to take it. 3:40: They are all the same Jason1 from the same world, but every choice they made trying to get back created another reality. Eventually some of them managed to get back. 8:50: I believe Jason2 was fucking with him when he said that.
Thanks for the recap. Definitely helped me understand the whole show better. Hopefully they will make a season 2. It seems these days all good shows leave you hanging and never continue. Which will suck again!!
Those two last episodes were a fucking mess. So much that I don't even know if the Jason that went throught the box with his family in the end is the original one.
It is the original Jason because of the mark on his nose. The original Jason had that mark on his nose the whole entire season just so we knew he was the correct Jason.
Still think we were watching a bunch of Jasons trying to get back. There was just a bunch of weird things that happened that weren't explained and seemed purposeful since they brought attention to it. Enough so that I predicted the ending after episode 5. Seems weird the clues were there to see the twist but then noone else seems to think that we were watching multiple Jasons while they too picked up on same clues and out of place stuff. Different ampoule amounts (supposedly in ep 3 or 4 other ppl commented it was an odd number), sound cues cutting to another Jason and Amanda. The field notebook getting all this attention to just disappear. The clothing changes that the Jasons are then wearing at the end. I mean I went full blown autism after seeing Leighton in episode 5, going back n watching it again and picking up on the other stuff. Just thought muh autism would've won me something but the show never acknowledges it so maybe it was just one Jason n Amanda we were watching and the purposeful hints were just a kick to the pants.
I know which noise you mean. Sounded like the beginning of a train or something or like a warp noise. But sometimes I didn't hear it when they switched so it lead me to believe also we were looking at other Jasons and Amanda
The leighton scene was the best cliffhanger of the finale. The man looks diabolical. He appears as if he has mastered the multiverses and is about to take over all of them.
The thing I couldnt help but to think of once Episode 9 played with the infinite Jason’s was where is the infinite Amanda’s. She too had a choice to make in the box and should have made it through to Jason 1s world as we had seen that Jason 2 had been doing that with visitors seemingly easily. Kinda a loophole that was created there
Just finished this show . And my god I was so sick to my stomach . I had a hard time not seeing all those Jason’s as our prime . Made me so damn sad for all the ones that just wanted his family . Went through all that hell to get back to them just to let me go
So when they select a particular world and open the door does the box appear out of nowhere in that world or has it been there forever? Conversely, when they leave a particular world does the box disappear? If the box does not disappear don’t the residents of that world try to figure out what the box is?
it appears out of nowhere remmember the water world where the box abbeard on the surface and started to sink and i think it stays like it stays in the original world and had to pure concrete on its to seal it off
I still do not understand how all of these Jason's were looking for the ONE Jason's family. "For every decision that Jason made in the box, it created a different version of him." What decision? Does this mean each time he opened a door, THAT created a different version...not in that door's world, but somewhere else? And this somewhere else had his exact same history of being kidnapped and switched? That makes no sense. Why would Jason opening a door to an alternate reality--with different Jason and family in that reality--then create ANOTHER exact version of the Jason who opened the door in yet another new reality? It is what is being done that is continually creating all of these exact copies of Jason that has me stumped. If anyone can explain, I'd appreciate it. Thanks.
Exactly. I wrote it here: Somebody explain it to me because I think it is bullshit. Jason 2 kidnapped Jason 1 and swapped places, but he did it only to this Jason 1. So there is no reason why all those Jasons woud be trying to go to thw world of Jason 1, because they were not stolen and nothing has been stolen from them. They just don't have the reason to be there. That's why I think it is not reasonable.
I don’t think it makes sense at all. If that were the case there should be multiple jason2s fighting to steal Jason1s life. There should be an infinite amount of Jasons that created the box. Not just one. “Anything that can happen will happen”. The multiverse would probably collapse into chaos or something beyond our comprehension would happen. After all we cannot know infinity. At the end of the day I don’t think it matters if it made sense. It made sense enough to tell a great story with a great message about life. Learning to love our choices with all the flaws and imperfections and strive to make our life the best that we can without letting fear control us. Honestly that’s much harder to understand I think.
Two questions: 1) how boxes appeared in other universes? One even on the middle of the road, and nobody removes it... 2) what will happen if ob the travelers will not use drug?...
I hope there is no season 2. They make it into a show with infinite possibilities which in the end make all and no sense at the same time~ There's no point going further unless 1 Jason develop a way to unite all timeline like in marvel scared timeline lol which is stupid and make sense.... see anything and anything can go on and on.....this show should not even exist in the first place~
I thought there would be a twist as in the Jason at the end shouting at the other Jason’s to let them through was the real Jason and he just accepted the fact he can’t be with them cause he secretly has feelings for Amanda but can’t stand to hurt his family
What an amazing set up. This show can go anywhere and still make sense cuz there’s a universe out there that exists. Infinite universe. Very much like everything everywhere movie.
This series was pretty good! It could have ended here, but I welcome more seasons if that’s the case. Cyberpunk Leighton looks like the rich one to me, and was Ryan in the same universe as Amanda or did he jump there with his invented injections? Can’t wait for more if there is some 👍🏻
Enjoyed the run. I would like to see Ryan in a spin off following his journey with Jason that started the mess helping him and Ryan 2 and discovering how to reunite all of the Jason's that were created in the end. This could happen over few seasons with some great writing.
Actually 45 ampuals left which is 15 tries between the 3 or does Max need his own lot of ampuals even though he’s dead. In this show, anything is possible lol
@@lampoyo I don't think it mattered which door they opened because its about what the person is thinking in that moment when they open the door. The infinite number of doors may just represent and visible show that the possibilities are endless, so that the mind can make sense of being in superposition.
Something that wasn't touched on much in the series was the profit potential in taking inventions from one world into another world that doesn't have them. Since the doors operate on thought it should be easier to find such opportunities. Jason2 did it with his box in Jason1' s world. It could be done on a much larger scale.
There's also a clue when beanie Jason asks Jason 2 for the phone he stole from him under the bridge. This explains why Jason 2 hid so many phones. And also makes me wonder if all of these Jasons are from the different realities Jason 2 visited in the past and tried to kidnap or something..
When it come to the Jason factions my guess would be the difference is the Rambos saw Amanda die while the others just ended up with her leaving. Seeing Amanda is what got all those Jason’s to go Rambo. Also I think the others probably started as a group when two of them got back at the same time and were forced to start dealing with each other.
Did anyone else have a moment when the camera panned down to them holding hands entering the box and think "hey didn't he get his gold wedding ring back?! , is this not Jason 1?!" But then I guess maybe he just didn't put it back on immediately. Would have been a nice twist at the end.
Lmaooo she shoulda asked for that safe word one more time! She literally only asked him for it once and then the other Jason figured out that he probably had one then that was it 😂
Besides Amanda and Ryan do any of the supporting characters seem interesting enough to lead a season 2? I think the show should end as it is. I don't see Jason and family jumping between worlds in season 2 as it will be more of the same. There has to be higher stakes and a more expanded story. As an example there could be an organisation that was created to find and destroy all the boxes.
When jason 1 gave those 2 ampules to Amanda, I thought she would make a appearance in the end. I guess she would use it to work with ryan to make more of those ampules.
If they do a season 2, I hope they do a door hopping segment where they see a bunch of different worlds again. I thought it was cool and creative to see that anything could happen. Like the door that had no atmosphere and it looked like the sun became a lot bigger and destroyed the world. I was wondering how that was possible when it was outside of human intervention.
It’s never too late to do the right thing and Jason 2 surprised me and I started to empathize with him. I’m also pretty sure the way he think rubbed off on the other Jasons which is why they let him pass at the end. I never thought this was the story of Jason 1 but Jason 2= as he explained in the tape. Finding what made him, him and different from everyone else - Hope he finds his way back to Amanda
Is it 2039-ish in the show? One of the vehicle registration stickers had 11 on one side and 40 on the other. I’m not familiar with the Illinois stickering scheme.
The other jasons wanted jason 1 and his family to go in the box as it would spawn millions of them as a family and in theory enough for the jasons to go back to. Doesnt always work out though as season 2 will explore im sure.
I was hoping Jason took his family to a world where Charlie’s twin Max is alive. Maybe in that world the family died in a car accident and left Max alive. Then they can get to know Max.
I didn’t think they’d be able to wrap up the main storyline very well but they did. Alot of the side storylines weren’t finished, but I’m glad they gave us teasers for them next season instead of just leaving them completely unanswered. Overall I was satisfied by the show but thought it dragged a little bit in the middle. I think it would’ve been much better and a much more talked about show if they dropped all the episodes at once
Although there were several "defy belief" moments in the finale (e.g., Blair freeing Evil Jason) overall I liked it--and look forward to a second season. Keeping in mind that a second season has NOT been green-lit. In a post-season finale interview the book's author & show-runner, Blake Crouch, strongly suggested what a lot of us are thinking: a second season would likely focus on Amanda and Ryan1--who are in Empathy Universe, and in the city of Seattle. My thinking is although there may be brief appearances by one/more Jasons, the Jason Family Adventure is over--as is the original book's storyline. Interestingly, Blake also said that the number one question he is asked by readers of the book is: "What happens to Amanda after she & Jason separate, and she stays in her perfect world?" Blake says this surprises him, but shows that Amanda is a fan-fav character, and someone a lot of the readers identify with. So given that, and Blake saying he "has an answer" but refusing to reveal anything about the relationship between Amanda & Ryan1; it's pretty clear to me that Amanda/Ryan1 will be the main focus of the next season. Finally, one question that I want an answer to if there's another season: how does Jason2 NOT have "clones"? He's traveled over 100 times, yet it's only Jason1 who has clones as a result of his travels. Quick thought: if Jason2 does NOT know how to prevent clones of himself, can he summons all of HIS clones to Jason1's world to help him survive against the army of Jason1 clones--all of whom want to kill Jason2? Sounds like a good storyline for Season 3: War of the Clones 😀
Don't know why they walk down it but the lavender fairy made it possible to comprehend super position without observation and I guess that was the writers Idea of how that would look. Was a similar idea in the matrix when they uploaded.
Joel's performance for these role was exceptional
It was mostly blank face or sad face. some range
AUSSIE AUSSIE AUSSIE! OI OI OI
You are extremely clueless about his other roles or acting in general. Dude literally showed here that he can't act. Jennifer was actually exceptional here, as always.
And, of course, if you are not one of those who just post 'safe comments' like yours to grab as many likes as possible, I can elaborate in much detail on my impression of his terrible acting.
Uncle Owen at its best
Must been so hard to play out a scene so emotionally charged and then have to do it again as the other version of you and usually when someone acting they are acting with or off another character across from them wine how they filmed the scenes where Jason interacted with other Jason's probably have some random stand in so Joel had someone to speak to when acting those scenes I'm guessing cuz the screen is usually only on one of them at a time so that's my guess cuz I feel like it would be weird for nobody to be standing there from his point of view haha
The police are in for a mystery with all those dead Jasons
Probably going to think someone was successful in creating clones.
That thought crossed my mind 😂
😂…I had the same thought..
Would make a great X-File 😎
They won't find them. Rick Sanchez will show up and go into clean-up mode. He doesn't need that kind of heat whilst still trying to lay low. Besides, he doesn't want this amateur to steal his schtick and get all the credit for multiverse travel AND cloning.
pretty sure the Leighton in the ending is the Leighton that went exploring for fun. He’s got the same white pants and the same colored hair
Or a version of him. Every choice he made created a new one. And every choice they made and every choice they made and every.... Infinite number. The box is crazy.
That’s for sure party Leighton; living like Doctor Who!
Best cliffhanger IMO. He looks like a straight GOON. He looks like he has mastered art of the box. Easily could see him being a villian in season 2.
I actually want a spin off featuring his travels.
Wait I thought that was Will.i.am from the Black Eyed Peas?🤔
I feel sorry for all the Jason's who let them go
facts i thought she was gonna get g4ngb4nged bro

This is one of the best book adaptions that I've ever seen. All the extra things made sense, and nothing was 'wrong' for me. ❤
@@ctvxl I think it's because the world doesn't exist until someone goes there and then the world and the box are created.

I love how they followed the book's ending and added enough that made sense for the visual medium.

This show blew my mind and am here for season 2
Don’t understand why we have multiple versions of Jason 1 and not multiple versions of Jason 2 since he spent 1 year and a half travelling in the box
There’s probaly a shit ton of Jason 2 that got beat to death lmao
I was wondering about that. I don’t think we can make sense of the science behind it because there is no science behind it. It makes sense enough to tell a compelling story.
I think he traveled to Jason 1 reality and spent all this time to get more information about Jason 1 life, all details in order to live his life.
Enjoy :D

Not subpar at all. If everything came to a close then they couldn’t leave room for a season 2, which was obviously hinted at the end with Blaire 2 returning to the box, and Ryan locating Amanda to help him build a box. The only thing I wish happened was a news report saying several bodies of the same person were being found around the city.

Definitely a season 2 bc they can’t end it there but we’ll prob have to wait 10 years for it to come out like everything else these days
All I see is more seasons of everything. Example? Expanse is the only one i can think of.
I think it should end here. It was satisfying. They will definitely ruin it because it will be predictable and boring.
so its like sliding doors meets the MCU multiverse, or maybe the flash multiverse. only in this series, the 2 different lives are maybe only just slightly out of sync with the other. but the confusion only started when more Jason's were added. and it wasnt until the last episode that anything was explained at all. i knew there were multiple universes, but why did the first jason get it wrong sooo many times for there to be hundreds of the same person?
the one thing i thought the writers did really well was the way we were able to track the Jason from the first episode (the kidnapped one). the scar on his nose, none of the other Jason's had that scar. it was a little detail that helped ground us so we knew where we were. overall, a great show i hope Apple TV really does bring back, though im not sure where they can go from here. the whole series was about Jason getting back to Daniella and Charlie, and he has that now.
And that's what ultimately set
him/versions of him on this one destructive path.
One thing overlooked is how the ending hinges on Blair being an absolute badass in what must have been a very tense and confusing situation. Would not have blamed her if she just froze
I can't wait for season 2. I absolutely loved this season and show. Very original asf
@@Theckonestroh Yeah, you're almost required to give them creative license to get into the show.
So no one is going to talk about a giant box near a populated city which came out if nowhere? 😂
Those two last episodes were a fucking mess. So much that I don't even know if the Jason that went throught the box with his family in the end is the original one.
It is the original Jason because of the mark on his nose. The original Jason had that mark on his nose the whole entire season just so we knew he was the correct Jason.
I honestly don’t expect a season 2. We’ll see
Still think we were watching a bunch of Jasons trying to get back.
Same I already predicted ending of season 2 before it begins. I’m the only one
I know which noise you mean. Sounded like the beginning of a train or something or like a warp noise. But sometimes I didn't hear it when they switched so it lead me to believe also we were looking at other Jasons and Amanda

Now look what you've done, Jason! You broke the universe(s)
Thank you, I thought no one had covered the show.
Was there a scene where they borrowed Blair's car? I don't remember seeing one.
The thing I couldnt help but to think of once Episode 9 played with the infinite Jason’s was where is the infinite Amanda’s. She too had a choice to make in the box and should have made it through to Jason 1s world as we had seen that Jason 2 had been doing that with visitors seemingly easily. Kinda a loophole that was created there
I love this series hoping for 3-4 season 😅 its so good
Just finished this show .
If the box does not disappear don’t the residents of that world try to figure out what the box is?
it appears out of nowhere remmember the water world where the box abbeard on the surface and started to sink
and i think it stays like it stays in the original world and had to pure concrete on its to seal it off
I still do not understand how all of these Jason's were looking for the ONE Jason's family. "For every decision that Jason made in the box, it created a different version of him."
What decision?
'windows xp error beat' like this😂
I don’t think it makes sense at all.
Two questions:
1) how boxes appeared in other universes? One even on the middle of the road, and nobody removes it...
2) what will happen if ob the travelers will not use drug?...

There's no point going further unless 1 Jason develop a way to unite all timeline like in marvel scared timeline lol which is stupid and make sense....

I thought there would be a twist as in the Jason at the end shouting at the other Jason’s to let them through was the real Jason and he just accepted the fact he can’t be with them cause he secretly has feelings for Amanda but can’t stand to hurt his family
And now my life is jasonless 😢
Now we gotta wait till 2026…. 😂

What an amazing set up. This show can go anywhere and still make sense cuz there’s a universe out there that exists. Infinite universe. Very much like everything everywhere movie.

@@lampoyo with the right mindset, yes maybe they can
@@lampoyo I don't think it mattered which door they opened because its about what the person is thinking in that moment when they open the door. The infinite number of doors may just represent and visible show that the possibilities are endless, so that the mind can make sense of being in superposition.
This was such an amazing show!!!
this show is just the live version of the rick and morty mr. meseeks episode.
Something that wasn't touched on much in the series was the profit potential in taking inventions from one world into another world that doesn't have them. Since the doors operate on thought it should be easier to find such opportunities. Jason2 did it with his box in Jason1' s world. It could be done on a much larger scale.
The only thing that bugs me is what’s going to happen to the 100 Jason’s in one world :(
It's not hundreds, it's infinite... they will never stop coming and overwhelm that world.

He was wearing the gold ring and the elastic band together in that shot
Lmaooo she shoulda asked for that safe word one more time! She literally only asked him for it once and then the other Jason figured out that he probably had one then that was it 😂
He was wearing it bud look again
Besides Amanda and Ryan do any of the supporting characters seem interesting enough to lead a season 2? I think the show should end as it is. I don't see Jason and family jumping between worlds in season 2 as it will be more of the same. There has to be higher stakes and a more expanded story. As an example there could be an organisation that was created to find and destroy all the boxes.
When jason 1 gave those 2 ampules to Amanda, I thought she would make a appearance in the end. I guess she would use it to work with ryan to make more of those ampules.
What happened to the Ryan that was brought to Jason 1 world?
Thank you and thanks to the team around the serie. God bless you all in Jesus name 🙏.
I needed a constellation season 2 😭😭😭😭
8:57 that was just a mad max joke my guy, not a real answer
God how i loved amanda in this show😢 she s every man s dream on this planet
Is it 2039-ish in the show? One of the vehicle registration stickers had 11 on one side and 40 on the other. I’m not familiar with the Illinois stickering scheme.
I live in Chicago and I was wondering too... 40 would have to represent the year
They wanted to protect Charlie and Daniela but I don’t think they realize he’s was Jason Prime lol
One thing I want changed is when conversation going on in the show they stop it with the whispering or really toned down volume
Why the infinite corridor... or at least -- why do they bother walking down it at all when then trick is to "imagine" what you want?
Don't know why they walk down it but the lavender fairy made it possible to comprehend super position without observation and I guess that was the writers Idea of how that would look. Was a similar idea in the matrix when they uploaded.
My biggest wish would be: no season 2. Everything can just get worse and inplausible
