This lesson was EXTREMELY HELPFUL. I am quite good at memorizing kanji (coming close to 400 kanji), but I'm still rather weak at grammar. Thank you Mai sensei!
Great video, I always struggle to remember conjugations for this. I had never seen いちり and みびに used to group the verbs, but it's a really handy way to remember the group as if it was a word to remember. I think I won't forget the conjugation now 😃 Now I just need to be careful for exception verbs and knowing which いる/える verbs are 一段 or 五段. Hmm, maybe that would be a good video actually, which いる/える verbs aren't 一段, such as 知る, 入る and 帰る 🙂
Hi,it's funny,the first kanji i memorised 私,語 etc i remember one day i was working for hours ,particles, verbs etc i was tired and i was searching for the Kanji 話 ,(in fact it was time to stop, so tired ,too much new informations, i couldn't take it anymore ,i mixed everything's up , so i was reading the Kanji 語 meaning, pronunciations etc as it was 話 me = " it's all nonsence" i was 😡 "i give up"( i had no intention of giving up ) shame on me 😂 finally,it was a good lesson 1 ) when it's too much ,tired etc you need to take a break .2) Now ,i know by heart this two kanji 語 and 話 😂 you learn twice from your mistakes .! i didn't know kanji "form" as soon as see it ,make me think of " a shrine with 3 leaves on is right side swept by the wind " as long as i remember it's ok 😊 またね
the て-form chart is a godsend, ありがとう マイせんせい

Yes, Japanese is difficult. To be honest, if you are just traveling in Japan, I think it is enough to learn just a few phrases😅
really helpful, thankyou 😊
Welcome 😊
What is the difference between 行ってはいけません and 行かないで ? ありがとうございます
いってはいけません=You mustn't go.
いかないで=Don't go.
Did you get it? 😉
Please write in Romaji, Mai.
