This video is very helpful. I will be using them when I travel to Japan in December. More videos on phrases used in daily life in Japan would be helpful. Thank you.
You may be arriving at Itami Airport. Either way, good luck with your train journey. Many Japanese people can't speak English, but I'm sure they will be happy to help you 😉
@@studywithmai. It will be KIX arriving, I have made a friend from online who I will be meeting and hanging out some days, I learned quite a few phrases from Pimsleur and from your videos Mai, thank you I will enjoy my time
I have visited Japan twice in recent years. I can speak, read and write Japanese at a basic level. But I encourage potential tourists to learn several phrases and counting. The Japanese people you meet will be very happy and impressed that you can speak a little of their language. Many at hotels can speak a little English as well.
Gracias por el video Mai. Me gustaría ir a Japón algún día, el idioma es bastante complicado de aprender pero para mi es muy fácil la pronunciación, espero poder usar estas frases algún día y que los japoneses no se enojen conmigo si cometo errores. 😊 Ten un buen día.
Thank you for the lesson マイ先生! And thanks for using some common Kanji! I find texts actually easier to read if they have some Kanji, and I think you picked the words to use Kanji well, either place names or really common words. I have one question: most of the time I heard Japanese natives pronounce を as “o” exactly like お. But you clearly say “wo”. Is this a dialect, or are you pronouncing it differently to make it clearer for learners that this is a different kana? Just curious 😊
Thank you for another nice and helpful video Sensei Mai ! ☺ How did you know I am worried about travelling to Japan? I have never been to Japan! I do not think I would fit into Japanese society so I will not go to Japan. Also, I don't like airplanes. I am only studying Nihongo so I can understand anime and Japanese movies like Godzilla! 😃
I never step my foot to Japan soil😢😢😢it^s my dream to put my foot on japanese island someday😢😢😢😢😊😊😊😊😊😊 sincere from malaysia, selangor🇯🇵🇯🇵🇯🇵🇯🇵🔈🔈🔉🔉🔉😘😘😍😍😍😍

It will be a long time before I am able to visit Japan but I'll be sure to revisit this video when I do

Sensei, Another great video, Subarashii !!
I came to Japan 4 times. I was all over Japan from Sapporo to Fukuoka.
So, you know more about Japan than I do 😁
すごいです10月に私の初めてに旅行ために!正しいですか。ありがとう!

とても手伝ったりよ
What do you mean 'とても手伝ったりよ' ? 🤔

As for "を", it doesn't matter if you pronounce it as "wo" or "o". I sometimes pronounce it as "wo" so that my students know it is "を particle" 😉
Is どのくらい and どのぐらい the same? I have seen どのぐらい used in the same way for the same question.
Thanks for another great lesson!
That's right. どのくらい and どのぐらい are the same. You can choose 😉
Just in time for my trip next week. Question, what's the difference between, "kudasai", "o kudasai", and "onegai Shima's"? 新たございます😊
I think they both are used the same grammatically, but I think onegaishimasu is a more humble, polite way of saying it
They all have the same meaning, so feel free to choose whichever phrase you like 😉 "onegai shimas" is more polite 👍
Thank you for another nice and helpful video Sensei Mai ! ☺

I totally agree that Japanese anime and movies are interesting 😉
