Not many reviewers do night shots. Even when we take them out for a test drive it's during the day and we don't get to see what the lights are like. I have a hard time seeing at night so this vid was great. Gives me a better idea of what I'm going to experience. Thanks for putting this up.
I am 68 but I love this car as my taste to everything doesn't change yet, I still feel younger and my preference to car are those what the mellinials would like. Anyway I enjoyed watching your video.
13:40 you didn't turn on the high beam, if you leave the lights on auto, mazda will also control the high beams, it has elliptical high beams, so it darkens the light where other cars are. Pretty neat feature for a medium priced hatch

Good review. I've always wondered how powerful the LED lights are at night, and your review definitely helped. Wondering where the fog lights are, as I didn't see them anywhere on the lower front bumper in any of the reviews.

Bravo Josipe lijep video steta da nije na Hrvatskom,i ja sam si uzeo novu tricu prije tjedan dana i mogu da kazem da je auto stvarno lijep samo sa 18 inch malo tvrd na losim cestama,sto mi se najvise svidja je head-up display gdje su sve informacije sto su najvaznije i adaptivni tempomat ne samo na autocesti vec i u guzvi (automatic).a i m.hybrid sa gasenjem 1 i 4 cilindra funkcionira super tak da se uopce neprimjeti kad radi na dva il cetir cilindra!
Zdravo Dragan. Kako si zadovolen od Mazdata so automatic menjac . Razmisluvam za skyactive g 122 hp so automatic menjach. Jel je dobra i ima li dovoljno snagu recimi po uzbrdice i planinskim prevojima.
I had 2 MAZDA the one had 850.000 km and was running fine.

hey guys i got a mazda 3 sedan 2015 when i buy it, i was unlocking the doors at night and the headlights was turning on automaticaly..then i go to the mazda to make some software updates and ap then that doesnt do that anymore..does anyone know why or if there is an option button or something?

Super video! definitvno mazda ima sve po mojoj mjeri tako da će moj budući auto biti mazda 3, cx3 ili cx5... mada niti nove mazde 2 nisu loše. kad sam ju vidio neki dan u gradu, mislio sam da je to mazda 3.. ali ipak, ja sam oko 186cm visok, tako da mi treba komfor u autu :))
8:30 baš dobro upija rupe od šahta vidio sam je neki dan na savici 3icu takvu ocigledna ta testna koju si ti testirao

In my town the first person to grab the new Mazda 3 (Hatchback) was actually about 60 something year old guy and it was pretty immediatly at launch so clearly it attacts also some older people too. :) I thought like you said "probably young at heart", the Hatchback especially in Soul Red is definitely a looker, much more so IRL than videos/images :) He's enjoying it so far, I'm a bit over 30 yo myself and very interested in picking one up with Skyactiv-X engine. The somewhat smallish cabin space, the seat comfort (the sides pushed up somewhat in my legs, maybe I like to sit closer to the steering wheel than your avg guy possibly so my legs are perhaps more spread out because of that) and small rear windows are my biggest issues with it. Leather seats appeared more solid so the sides weren't as tall so it was less of a prob I think but leather is only available in the expensiest trim in my country and manual transmission wasn't available either on that trim but I'm interested in the 2nd highest trim lvl anyway. Honda seats appear much more comfortable to me for example.
I just wanted to add my own take to this. The headlights are definitely good, definitely on par with the latest LED projectors offered by Kia/Genesis/Hyundai, Lexus/Toyota and Acura, Audi, Mercedes,. Definitely a lot better than the crap LED reflectors offered on BMWs and Hondas. Overall, cars are being built much better these days by Koreans and Japanese that Mazda, although a great brand faces fierce competition.
My 2018 Mazda6 has very good headlights. It was immediate apparent the first time I drove the car at night. The high beams light up the entire road and surrounding area(I live in Texas, plenty of rural roads to test it on). Along with the curve adaptive feature, I’d be hard pressed to find better headlights on a car luxury or otherwise.
Compared to VAG matrix led this is crap tbh.
Vjerujem da bi se dala potrošnja dovest do nekih 7l. Vjerojatno ga, pošto je testni agresivnije voze ljudi pa se to vidi na potrošnji. Šteta što skoro svaka recenzija testira benzinac, ugladenost i potosnja dizela me zanima.
Skyactive x ce koštat dosta više, plus nova tehnologija treba pričekat s kupnjom.

I think you have turned on the Matrix LED (automatic headlight), that's why you see the high beam symbol
Hi beam symbol shows up anytime when the car decide to turn them on in auto mode. It happens only when driving at night or late evening.

Damn you get power folding mirrors and surround view camera the only thing us over in North America has is the bigger engine we are missing a lot of features.
Yeah it's rly sad, I don't know why there are so many different specs like in Australia they have backseat vents as well but no awd. If you combined all these features you would have a full complete luxury car minus the cooled seats, I wonder what the price would be for one

Pozdrav Josipe - jesi vozio mozda i dizel verziju i da li mozes da uporedis odziv na gasu? Volim sto dizel ima odziv i na manjim obrtajima, ali ta mazda je atmosferac sa 122 konja, pa bi trebao da ima linearniji odziv od onih sa turbo.
Nisam, jer mislim da ga nemaju testni, ugl se prodaju benzinci u toj klasi. I ja osobno preferiram dizel. Testirao sam samo dizel u novoj Mazdi 6.
I've tested this car for some time. I think it goes nicely, even with base engine. I had the same issue with side mirrors as you. This is quite showstopper for me. Maybe i could get used to it, i dont know. I must reconsider it. You guys need to give it a try for your own. Anyways, this car looks awesome from any angle.

What about the light always on "passenger airbag"? What is its use? It is always on also on mine, but the informative lights (if the airbag is on or off) turn off when the car moves.
Light is only info at start that the front passenger airbag is on and light goes off after you start driving.
I have the manual 2020 hatchback and I was wondering why it doesn’t have the 360 reverse camera?
It's only for European market apparently.

I’m a bit blind so in all my cars I use fog lights. I can’t drive at night without them because I need to see the road right in front the wheels. How visible is the low road considering this car doesn’t have fog lights? Excuse my poor English.

Why are you driving if you're "a bit blind". You don't need fog lights with LED headlights.
So I cannot afford mazda 3 from 2019 but I can afford mazda 3 from 2006. Would you advise to buy or not?
TheMaverick my advice is buy something used not older than 3-5 years. Cars depreciate fast. You want more safer technology around you for safety. And from economic perspective you spend less money on consumption and more money on paying off the investment. I personally couldn’t afford a new car and I bought little less than 2 years old, for almost half a price.

I have a question, i currently own a Ford Focus ST 2012. Nice sporty car, but it gets too old. Do you think i could get along with the 122hp athmospherical Mazda3 or should i go for another car brand which sells turbocharged engines? 180hp mazda is too expensive for me. Goal would be 120-150hp at maximum price of 22500€
Do a test drive. I drove this car as a diesel I shift early as thats what I am used to. I agree more power is always better. If it doesn’t feel right for you look elsewhere.

I think in US has similar Skyactive engine 2.5 Liter but 181 HP.

I noticed when you got into the freeway the light on the dash went from blue to normal white is that because oh how dark it is and they are protecting your eyes from blue light
AL. Light is white, this is camera glitch. Not sure why but only with GoPro 7, 5 series didn’t have this problem. But 7 has better stabilized picture so I use it.
Shame coz I liked it better in blue
I know it's not your car, but this is a good example of how people today don't even know what they are buying. The Mazda3 has one of the most advanced matrix LED system on the market and you think you only have high and low beam like 90's cars. What a waste of technology.

Those headlights are either aimed pretty low or they have a pretty short range.
They adapt.
They adapt when you add extra weight like more passengers. There was nothing to adapt with just yourself on board.

I really cannot find the motivation they had when they decided not to turn off the "passenger airbag" light. Without the other two lights, that they turn off when the vehicle moves, it does not mean anything...

Nice car but the heads up display illuminating on the windscreen would drive me nuts...really annoying seeing that in your eyeline all the time. That would put me off buying this car.

Tbh ambient lighting are playing a huge factor to whether or not the car has that premium look to it.
It's a gimmick for sure, but it looks cool and no one can deny that.
I know mazda said those things are bad for concentration of driver and mazda are huge on safety. But this is something even the low brands as they say are doing now and mazda seriously missed on this oppurtunity. With the sort of interior they have and the way the car look... this would've been a huge big wow factor for the car.

@@thetrustysidekick3013 not really. Sure looks cool in those germans car with all their 64 ambient lighting and all, but it doesnt even have to be like that. A stripe of blue light across the chromed layers. Maybe selection of 6 colours.
It's basically to help mood up the interior. Doesnt have to be crazy like merc. To me personally even though it's cool, merc just bashed in ambient light anywhere that looked dark. And wont lie, I have drove them, it does hurt the eyes abit and distract when driving.
My perfect example of what I mean would be peugeot 508 ambient lighting. Theres only 2 colours but it's just a simple straight line. But makes it look kinda premium.
Golf 8 has ambient lights but nothing premium about its plastic interior, id rather have more leather and cloth inserts like mazda's then cheap led stripes

Comfort over anything but the posh cushion and all, mazda seems to have already provided us with this car and it has all the wonderful things that you need added to the places it matters most.
So ambient lighting is just an idea.

I am so fucking MAD that they have designed the side of the car like that... the C pilar is awful. The front is beautiful, the back is great, the interior/dashboard design is perfect, with no huge shitty touchscreens like other brands, just the right controls... it would have been perfect if it wasn´t because of that side end design... Again... Mazda designer in charge of that... I want to punch you in the face!

Mazda feels better when driving, sound was better and feel. While Škoda left a big meh, and lack of emotion. This feedback has shown thru my emotion and expression. I am a Škoda fan and drive octavia 3, but I am honest about there flaws.
@@JRCarReviews Flaws ? Mazda just making more noise thats all. What was exiting in straigt line run ? Its just funny. With 2.0 petrol engine is weaker than 1.0 TSI and its smaller. And i bet that Scala is much more capable in corners too, Škoda engineers know how to make/set suspension, even Fabia 3 is more capable in corners than mazda 3. I never get theese emotion reviews... I think that its all about complexes. If that slow car with 2.0 petrol engine in straight line makes you tell: "WOW!!! That was exiting" its clearly rly funny.

Unfortunately it is... 180 hp is already available, but the prices are about 20% higher than 122 hp version...

video quality is freaking awful. buy a good camera. especially buy a good camera if you re gonna shoot videos in the night. how am I suppose to enjoy the video where picture is the most important thing, if video quality sucks? what's the point?
Егор Толмачев I am using literally the latest camera on market with 4K resolution most videos are 1080p. Maybe you haven’t turned on 4K? If you have bad connection your video maybe loaded in 720p or 480p?
@@JRCarReviews watched at 720p. when you move camera, all lighted objects are blurred. Same thing with 1080p. Sharpness of the still picture is fine, but bluring in every motion really messes things up. May be it's something with camera settings? or may be your current lens isn't good enough for night shooting?
