@Tom1988ism This can be used as a memento to save for years, or give to a relative. Lifecastings are used in many different sculptural and memorial applications.
@leostyle7771 Generally the eyes are sculpted open in the final casting. This can be done by pouring melted wax or clay into the Body Double mold instead of the resin. The wax or clay casting can then be re-sculpted and re-molded.
If I wanted to use this to make a mold to work off of for prosthetics would I be able to use plaster of paris to fill the mold? Is it possible to do more of the head, into the hairline if a skull cap was used??
Hi there, thank you for watching. To completely replicate this video you will need Body Double™ Standard silicone, Body Double™ Release Cream, Gypsona® Plaster Bandages, Smooth-Cast™ 325 and Bronze Powder.
Not gonna lie. The model experience looks like my worst nightmare brought to life. Process steps seem straightforward though. Thanks for the comprehensive tutorial.
Holy cow! this video was pretty decent but it sent me over the moon when it included how long it took thank you so much!
Thank you for watching! Don't forget to subscribe!
@mysterymelody Applying the rubber is fairly fast, and the mold is lightweight. Some models even tell us that it is very meditative and relaxing!
@MrEJR26 You could use our Rebound 25 silicone for non-lifecasting applications.

@Dustinavollmar The mix is 1A:1B resin and 1 part metal powder. We also have a metal cold casting video on our channel which gives more information.
would it be alright to pour a gypsum cement like ultra 30 plaster into something like this?
Not to our knowledge. Check out Amazon or Dick Blick. Our products are also sold there.
We have a link on our website - "Moldmakers Exchange" which has a directory of moldmakers who may be able to help you.
Can I buy a similar product at Walmart or Target?
I love the video and would like to order for some lifecasting kits including cost and instructions.
Thanks

For how many minutes long should the model keep his eyes closed in total?
Not gonna lie. The model experience looks like my worst nightmare brought to life. Process steps seem straightforward though. Thanks for the comprehensive tutorial.
Geez!! They did it SO much quicker and easier on "Mission: Impossible" 45 years ago!!
Wow that child was very well behaved and patient that would of made me unpatient.
Nice
Body Double Release Cream looks like a petroleum jelly or vaseline.
this is super weird
Can this be poured? I need to make a copy of my ears. Yes I'll have ear plugs in.
It is best to apply this in a thin layer. For pour on lifecasting we would recommend alginate.
