I'm stuck between this and the cb500f for my first bike. Everyone says they're both great beginner bikes and I've sat on both and like the position and comfort on both. I've heard the f is tuned more for mid range where the r has more top end. Any recommendations?
Is this a good bike for beginner? I currently ride a used CBR 125, but after a year I think I've outgrown the bike and want to upgrade to bigger bike but still wary of the 600cc inline bike.
It’s incredibly important to learn how to ride the correct way. For instance, you’re using mostly rear break but your front brake should be used a majority of the time as it makes up roughly 70% of your stopping power. Using both in conjunction with each other is crucial. Learning on your own is fine but I highly recommend watching some TH-cam videos about how to ride if you’re not going to take a safety class.
@@AndrewHartsock Yeah, I finally bought this bike (2017 model). The bike feels great especially for the riding position.
