I have a brand new prescription for one of these meds in the refrigerator. I'm a bit nervous because I have Crohn's Disease in addiction to type 2 diabetes. Wish me luck. My goal is to keep my glucose tighten controlled, and hopefully lose some weight.
Hello @SUGAs_Shadow85, it's important to discuss these side effects with your healthcare provider. They might adjust your dose or suggest a diet to help normalize your appetite.
I won't take ozempic because of availability issues. But had to prescribe to get price( I know sounds silly). So now I have a year supply of it and can't share it legally. Any chance it can be used elsewhere for someone else?

I mean, you just told us to just stay away from junk spicy foods.. I like you and all.... But this was not much of a revelat foods to avoid. It was just common sense. I was suspecting a list of foods to avoid besides junk spicy fatty foods.
Mounjaro user here. I don't think these "tips" are based on experience. If I eat any leafy greens, or pretty much any veggies at all, I soon get gassy and have intestinal side effects (the explosive kind) because I can't digest them. If I eat a salad one day I'll still be throwing it up 2 days later, fully undigested. The only things I can eat without getting side effects are carbs and lean protein.
Thank you for sharing your personal experience with Mounjaro. It sounds like you've been navigating some pretty frustrating digestive side effects, especially when trying to include vegetables in your diet. It’s important to listen to your body and find what works for you, especially when medications like Mounjaro are involved. If you haven’t already, it might be worth discussing these side effects with your healthcare provider to see if there are ways to manage them better or explore dietary adjustments.
High protein meals in the morning also 😉 along with fiber. And I fast 12 hours a day. Don't forget your reward on Sundays "cheat day" to boost your metabolism for the next week
Thanks for your question! While drinking diet cola or alcohol in moderation may not directly interfere with Mounjaro, it’s always a good idea to check with your doctor first. Some people may experience digestive side effects when mixing these beverages with medications like Mounjaro, so it’s important to ensure it fits with your specific treatment plan. Always best to prioritize your health and consult with your healthcare provider!
When it comes to managing side effects of medications like Ozempic and Mounjaro, it's important to focus on foods that promote gut health and reduce potential gastrointestinal issues. Some general advice includes avoiding greasy, fried, or spicy foods, which can trigger discomfort. Instead, consider eating high-fiber foods like vegetables, whole grains, and lean proteins.

Indeed these foods really make hard to take the medicines by making side effects double or triple.
