    Thank you so much! I have an ET-3760. At first I could not get the density setting to change but I found a setting that I unchecked. It was “let Windows control your printer.” After unchecking that setting I was able to change the density and printed the card stock perfectly. Thank you again!

    Thank you so much for sharing this video, it has been a HUGE help!
    I am just commenting to help others that may have had the same issue as me as it still didn't work for me by simply changing the settings. I have to load 4 sheets of card into my printer for it to not reject it and also (not sure why) once it has accepted the top sheet, I have to unload the rest, add another sheet and add it back in behind the sheet that is currently printing. A little bit of a pain in the backside but it's saved me a fortune in wedding invites!
    For context, I am using 300gsm White Linen card from Hobby Craft (UK) and my printer is ET-2750
    I can't take credit for this work around - I followed some advice from another user on here, but the comment was buried in another thread so thought I would share again.

    I honesty can't thank you enough! You have saved me hundreds and hundreds of pounds and I am so grateful. I have an Epson ET 8550 and the rear feed paper slot prints slightly out each time so it was useless. Trying to get Epson to admit there is a design fault has been impossible. I was ready to give up and buy another printer. Then I found you and this post. You are an angel. Thank you so so much, the printer now prints on my 300gsm card from the rear paper feeder (so much easier than having to take the back apart to use the rear feed paper slot) and it prints straight everytime. I dont know how to show you how grateful I am. You're amazing. Thank you very, very, very much!!

    Mine was working well previously, and then it wasn't. I didn't know what the density function controlled and I had changed it back to zero. I can't believe this is so simple. The fact that you took the time to explain it is very much appreciated. Thank you for saving my new greeting card business ! Update: I also put a few sheets of regular paper behind the thick piece and push down very gently when it starts to feed into the printer.

    I would back up your happiness with the ET-2750 as well.
    For years, I've been using several of the PhotoStylus R2800 and the Artisan 50s. I Frankensteined them to use CISS systems, external waste ink tanks, bought end-of-life system re-setter codes, the works. Once I found the ET-2750, I couldn't believe Epson finally did the right thing: Affordable, large volume ink reservoirs, vs. those insanely expensive individual cartridges. Now I can buy ink for far less, replace (or clean) the waste ink holders, and clean the paper roller by removing a user-friendly back-panel. So many useful software settings for all kinds of paper as well. What's not to like?
    And don't worry Epson, I'll still by more printers from you (instead of throwing the old ones out.) I see a 2nd or 3rd ET-2750 in my shop soon enough.

    • @jbluna6381
      @jbluna6381 2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      @@lc4095 HI Lily! I did. I ended up having to boost the density as high as it could go. I tried it on the settings that were suggested, but it would spit the first page out and THEN print on the second. It's a pretty good printer, the biggest frustration has been finding just the right settings for color. I found that going into preferences and into advanced settings, press custom, and then select ICM. That's given me great colors so far. But it took a while to figure that out. I do love the eco-tank as I've printed out tons of stickers and still haven't even gone through half the ink. It's saved me a bunch of money right there!

    thank you for this ... I was actually looking for the maximum thickness that Epson ET 2760 can have .... this works too. I will try a 120lb weight in a couple of days

      Hi Mark!! Just wondering if you had any luck printing on 120lb paperweight! I'm about to order some but I'm not sure if that is too think or not!

    • @fr1day1700
      @fr1day1700 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@itsLunaloo Theres a way that you can force it ... but you have to crease the paper and push the paper a bit to help feed (cant remember but i think i saw a video on it). That turns out to be too much work for me and I opted to buy a ET16500 which does the job flawlessly.

    I have the et - 2750 and print on cardstock up to 235gsm (at the moment). My printer just wouldn't accept it! Thanks for your video. I tried it but it didn't work for me 😭. I intensively Googled and tried lots of different ways. Changing my setting to matte (not plain paper) worked for me and i didnt have to change any other settings!

      @@maceykinard9646 I was having the same problem (only I was trying a thick cardstock) and it kept making that awful banging noise and then would just spit the card straight back out again but I asked a friend for help and she said to try different amounts of card in the paper tray at a time until the printer recognised it as I was only using 1 sheet of card at a time, so I did that this morning and it worked, it feeds it through ok when I have 4 or 5 but no more and no less. Try that and see if that works for you. Hope it helps :)
