I have the same issue I keep cutting my hair I don't think this is my last big chop... I am on my 4th big chop and I'm really hoping this is my last one while my parents are supportive they hate when I do it because I always had long hair and they believe black women should not cut their hair (spiritual reasons). It's hard tho once I did it felt so good but every time my hair grows back and I find a reason to cut it off again dryness, relaxers, heat whatever... lol.
