A friend and won a small Bass tournament (60 boats) using a chartreuse and white skirt, spinner bait the main blade was a gold, willow leaf blade on the spinner bait, and the secondary blade was a copper Colorado blade. I haven’t fished a Bass tournament since. We used a two seater scamp with a trolling motor. We won!
BASS started putting on tournaments in 1968. I became a member in 1972 and received a SOB Spinnerbait with my membership. That was the Spinnerbait that won the Classic that year. I think if Spinnerbaits were grouped together they would land much higher on the list. The Spinnerbait predates most of your list by 20 years and was so dominant in the early days of the game. Anyway it has always been one of my favorites along with the flipping jig which came along about 10 years into pro fishing.
Also I think you’re missing the dead ringer that is a staple for flipping into cover. You can use it on a split shot. It’s one of their most versatile worms that they have for all year round. Trailer for chatterbaits and spinnerbaits. You know the lizard, swamp crawler, and centipede, their craws… just so many things from zoom. But the dead ringer 4in has got to be one.
Wow can not believe the senko is not on there but now thinking about it it’s mostly the most sold and fish catching bait not saying no one won on it but it’s a numbers bait for sure
Ok. Top 10 guesses. No particular order. Popping frog. Whopper plopper. Jackhammer. Swim jig w/creature trailer. Speed worm. Fluke weedless. Drop shot w/ roboworm type worm. Rattletrap. Tx rig worm. Jerkbait.. Back to watching lol
Yah I don’t immediately think of megabass.. didn’t own one till today lol. (TY Scott!!!!). Totally forgot about spinnerbaits and I did ok on them this year. Laughing at my drop shot comment now… Ooohh didn’t think of keitech.. would that be fluke ish?? Love my largo shad btw.. weighted belly hook or my fave underspins. Ha got one right lol Jackhammer. Frog… ok bronzeeye…. Whew. Uh I didn’t say that one lol darn beaver bait…. Got worms on there cool…. Tx rigged??? lol. Yay a jig! And #1 is…. Oops…. Forgot crankbait lol. Ok now to rethink my boxes for spring… thanks Mr Bass!!!!!
Crank bait, jerk bait, spinner bait, buzz bait , senko, Texas rig, Carolina rig, spook, drop shot, paddle tail. Yup, zoom trick worm is great. Especially for floating worm. I like zman worms for Carolina rigs. Robo worm for shakey head and drop shot.
I’m glad you excluded the forward facing sonar. It’s a shame professional anglers have to use it. Bass fishing is less of a sport now then it ever has been. It’s more like a military exercise.
Crankbait, Buzzbait, Jig, Carolina rig, Jerkbait, Spinnerbait, TX Rig, Drop Shot, Swim Jig, Square Bill // Didn't realize until watching we needed to list a specific brand. 🙄🙄

Mr bass loves fishing tackle more than Hank loves propane
