Okay, just finished watching. And, of course, I loved it! You saw something that I missed in the "tangle of thorns" line. For whatever reason, I never would have guessed the connection to Jesus' crown of thorns. But it fits!!! Not only does it fit, but it fits perfectly. HH thinks of himself as being persecuted, similarly to Jesus. I still believe it has a connection to Shakespeare, but the Jesus thing snaps together with that. Can't wait to do more analysis. Especially on the latest stuff. We have much to discuss!!! 🤓
The voice reading the book kind of reminds me of Richard Nixon. Maybe he was trying to be creepy, but I would rather have a Basil Rathbone or Vincent Price type of voice reading, too.

Thanks. I'm hoping my next video will my thoughts and review of the book and then I could move to the movie.
So the guy who does the audiobook Jeremy Irons actually made a movie called Lolita in 1997, he plays Humbert Humbert.
Yep... but when he's reading the book it seemed like he's not thinking too much about HH manipulating the reader.

Thanks :)

I like Rathbone but he reminds me too much like Sherlock Holmes even when he plays a bad guy. Lol.
@@tankardoftales4645 I saw part of a movie once where he played a kind of crazy, evil step father, I believe. Did not seem right.
@@hermanhale9258 he plays an evil wizard in The Magic Sword 1962.
