- Come and join us for our first day at Silver Dollar City, the 13th theme park of our USA Road Trip! In this vlog we experience all 7 roller coasters, along with sharing our reviews from each of them. This includes Time Traveler, Outlaw Run, Wildfire and many more awesome coasters. We also explore this heavily themed park and take a stroll through the beautiful areas along with stepping inside a variety of different shops and watching a fantastic circus show. Join us as we capture the charming atmosphere of this spectacular theme park!

Let’s hope it stays that way as Dollywood is clearing out many acres of trees these days all around the park. 😢

This and Dollywood are my 2 most anticipated parks to visit. I LOVE the themeing and feel of SDC, so authentic! Add Time Traveller into the mix and you have yourself a top tier park. 👍

The parks with lots of trees are so beautiful! The weather looks perfect.
It’s such a beautiful park
As a local, the downside is that the weather is especially unpredictable so it’s best to have a couple flexible days in case it rains all one day. That being said, more often than not it’ll start pouring, the park will pretty well clear out, and the rain will clear up within a one to two hour time frame leaving the park much more accessible to you.
Wonderful coincidence of a release on Father’s Day! I had a smile on my face throughout the whole video as I remembered my late father and I going to Silver Dollar City together when I was a kid back in the early 80s. You captured the same magic of the park today as it had way back then ❤
Hope you guys get to make it down to Magic Springs in Arkansas too! Had a season pass there in ‘81 and it was pure bliss for a kid.

One of the interesting things to me about Powder Keg is the fact that the track changes halfway through the ride.
It’s the old Premier Rides track reused from Buzzsaw Falls and the the newer S&S track when it’s was changed into the coaster from the water ride.
This is such a bucket list park, as well as Dollywood.

This has to be one of the best vlogs so far of the trip!;what a fantastic immersive, detailed park! I'd be happy to go even if there were no rides! I love how enclosed everything is and not just a vast open concrete space with rides placed in, I love the fact you can't see the rides but when you do! Oh my gosh, amazing, thank you both for all the hard work your putting into the vlogs for us all to enjoy every day! Can't wait for day 2!😊

If you go back to Silver Dollar City on the way down you should stop at Lambert’s Cafe in Ozark, Missouri. It’s a pretty unique restaurant with good food and you’ll probably find the “throwed rolls” entertaining. I say “on the way” because you’ll get pretty full and definitely not be up for riding coasters but you’ll sleep like a baby once you hit that hotel bed.
This park has what some of the other parks are missing: shade and seating.
Time Traveler is still up there with my top 1st coaster. The park is so sweet and small. They go up and beyond at Christmas time with there lighting display. Rides in the dark. I'd love to go back soon 😊😊😊😊
I love this park more than any other!
This reminds me of when I went to Dollywood, short wait times and loads of rerides. This park has so much to do for all ages.
My last 3 trips to Dollywood have been pretty bad. 2 or 3 rides in 7-8 hour day. 2 hour waits for everything. Even the train. Bummer stuff. One of my favorite parks. It's partially my fault for always going during Christmas-New Year when I rent a cabin up there. I can't wait to ride the new family coasters. Couldn't get on the family invert last time. Had 90 minute wait.
@@jonny-b4954It’s because of the Christmas crowds. That’s Dollywood’s busiest time of the year. If you were to visit any other time throughout the year, it wouldn’t as bad. Dollywood is my home park and we will go in late November to enjoy the Christmas festivities, however, we avoid going the month of December, due to the crazy crowd level.
@@stephaniesuthers5635 Yeah, I figured. We've had other trips where it was great in the Summer. Always go during holiday vacation though, and to see the lights. It's a bummer because now I can't convince family to give it another shot.

What a top tier park.
Looks a feast for the senses. Right up there into top 3, so far, for this trip. Super selection R'Coasters and great variation of attractions. Always great to see some shows added into the theme parks. Food looked good too, although touch overpriced but not excessively like other parks. Roll on day 2 here.
I'm going to have withdrawal symptoms when this road trip ends!

I’m not sure if you guys knew this about Powder Keg but you can actually see one of Buzzsaw Falls’ trains on the station’s roof from the queue line. Just a little secret in case you guys didn’t know. Can’t wait for tomorrow and I better see Charlotte go on the rapids.

I am glad they brought back the newspaper. Many parks have not brought paper maps back after the pandemic. It is a shame since people used to collect maps.

This park is a homage to the mountain people who have played such a big part in it's music and history!

It’s a beautiful ride
I love that extra technical features of how their tracks changes throughout the ride it has that magical illusional vibe effect, The Time Machine reminds me of Alton Tower’s the smiler, I love these quirky attractions especially the flame ride with the cobra rolls different inversions those are my favourite rides that’s got those different features that make the ride worth really exciting thrillmatic riding experience, I’m loving these vlogs top quality footage throughout your entire adventurous day well done 👍 both of you and yes totally agree I love 💕 and prefer pork hot dogs 🌭 loving your hot dog hat Shawn and both of you on your rocking chairs aww 🥰 you both looked adorable 🥰 but really funny 😄 lol

It would be worth going for Time Keeper alone, but all the other rides, theming, stores, great prices, good operations, shows, etc, really make it a great park! Can't wait to see Day 2!

I've noticed your food horizons seemingly expanding recently, I don't remember you having things like pizza and chicken wings and BBQ sauce and stuff until recently. (Correct me if I'm wrong of course!)

Well done if so! I used to be very fussy myself but gradually been trying more stuff in the last ten years or so. I used to be terrified on mayo, BBQ sauce, sushi and other random stuff but love all those things now and more.
Keep it up if so! Great to see. Unless I'm just mistaken and you've always liked those things we've been seeing recently. 😂

Glad you guys are loving SDC! We found it by accident 2 years ago and have been driving 2 days to get to it whenever we can. It’s the most genuine, family friendly theme park we’ve ever been to. Europa Park is still our favorite, but we’ll choose SDC over Disneyland any day of the week. The food is fantastic, too. Hope you guys tried the potato sticks while you were there.

Just catching up Shaun and Charlotte on your vlog as I've been to wemberly for Harry styles thought we would go to thrope park for the first time and got to experience the coasters there absolutely loved swarm and the saw, Colossus was good only thing was the head banging which was a bit much for me but a fantastic park , I got soaked on tidal wave too 👍

On the onride footage from time traveler, it looks like RTH spins a lot more than time traveler. Nice vlog again.
Love that Time Traveller coaster so much like The Ride To Happiness in Belgium. Beautifully laid out park almost like Alton Towers vibes. Some great coasters too. That RMC coaster is amazing. Love you Deep South impersonation on the rocking chairs, you should keep that up. Great vlog TPW crew.

24:40 Lady broke her back! How! Hahah. I'm interested how they'll revive Fire in the Hole. At least there's still the other version at Dollywood. For now, at least. I love how they go even further than Dollywood and Cedar Point and Knotts with the Wild West town with the master craftsman working. Cool stuff. Keeping all that old machinery working. They don't build em like they used to!

This park looks incredible this is my kind of park can you imagine If this park had on site accommodation the coasters and the shops and the merch is amazing Charlotte you need to buy those lounge pants they are so you ❤

Ned Flanders pants that you found, they are from fire in the hole. There is a scene in the ride where Ned is shouting that they were stolen. Brilliant!
That shot of the b+m track in the trees at 28:50 made me gasp out loud, this park is really something special. Makes me think of what Alton towers could be like if they could build above the tree line! Top tier vlog as always from both of you.
