I hate to break it to you (or Silver Dollar City for that matter) but "Dutch Apple Bread" does not exist. There is Dutch Apple Pie.. There is Frisian Sugar Bread.. (Frisia is a Dutch province) But the combination of - what I imagine is - Apple Pie and Bread, nope, you will not find this in The Netherlands. Sounds good though, so if I ever find myself in Silver Dollar City I just may have to try it. Cheers!

Silver Dollar City really does have some of the most different theme park foods. It’s almost worth the trip for the food. In the summer they have strawberry slush with real strawberries and it is the equivalent of not being able to visit Universal without having a Butterbeer. I can’t go to SDC without having a strawberry slush.
I know you've said before that you don't like funnel cakes. The reason you say that is because you've never had them at Silver Dollar City. SDC's funnel cakes are far and away the best I've ever had. Anywhere else, they are a greasy plate full of disappointment. So too late to tell you that, but if you go back, you have to try them.
@@djlowtek they have good funnel cakes. you have to go to the place by the saloon not by wild west stunt show. There is nothing wrong with there funnel cakes.
It's crazy that just by listening to the ideas of one quick service employee they made probably over $100,000 worth of food sales in a year. I hope she got a gigantic bonus.
That food looked so delicious. Fruit cake is a traditional Christmas cake over here in the UK, but ours are darker and richer and infused with dark spirits like Brandy, Rum , Whiskey etc then covered in thick icing which we call Royal Icing. It's not christmas without one in most households.

I went to silver dollar city this last year, and being a handicapped person, I found it hard to get around. the park is very hilly, and getting an electric wheel chair was very difficult. I'm diabetic , so eating like you both did in this video would kill me !!! but what a great way to go !! I do enjoy your videos, they are very informative, and entertaining !!! keep it up !!!!
I was wondering how wheelchairs worked in that park. We saw a bunch of people in the electric ones, but I wasn't sure how the batteries handled the hills. I also wondered about how the chairs handled the rain or a wet day.
the hills were hard on the chairs. we went on a sunny day, and after Disney, any other park is a disappointment !! happy thanksgiving from California !!!
It is on our list, I just don't know for when. We need to finish with the Branson videos and we have a trip to Gaylord Palm that we need to upload, then we will be off to more Central Florida Christmas events.
The cookies just aren't what they used to be. They used to be really big thinner and chewier. Now they are hard and dry. Really disappointing because it was my fave growing up. But I didn't buy one at Delilah's so maybe I went to the wrong place
wow real kettle corn. my dad used to make kettle corn at fairs and such we had a booth and made it in a big cast iron kettle. its rare to see it made properly at a theme park. and that potato skillet looked good
