Most important part of the vid was where the clean places are to drop a #2. Post gallbladder removal and still wanting to enjoy all the food. Thanks for the vid!
Went for the first time today, what an amazing park! Got very lucky and there was ZERO lines for any of the attractions. Was able to ride every rollercoaster in under 90 minutes, which left tons of time for flat rides and rerides for the coasters. Such a unique mix of coasters, every one of them was great! Can’t wait to go back, just wish it wasn’t so hard to get to from San Diego.
I love this park not JUST because of the amazing coasters, the food and atmosphere.. But the fact that they aren't afraid to express christian values. It makes me feel at home cuz I'm christian also. BTW, ride all the major coasters in the park in the back! Literally the drop on Time Traveler, Wildfire and Outlaw Run is something that can't be beaten in the back. My Mom and Dad are literally considering moving here just because of this awesome park. Loved it alot. Disney, take notes.
The food was quite good, and the prices are cheaper than most Florida theme parks. My favorite time to visit is the fall, it isn't as crowded. I visited last Friday and the lines for the rides were not bad, with about a 10-minute waiting time. The pumpkin exhibitions are really cool, and I'm excited to visit next month for the Christmas decorations. I have visited many other theme parks across the nation and I will say you will not see a lot of diversity here, it's mostly white folks, not a problem for me, just wanted to point that out for anyone visiting from other states. Also, they have a lot of senior citizens employees, I just hope they are taking good care of these older employees 🙏🏻. Overall I enjoyed my visit, highly recommend it.
I just left there today. I don't know if you've ever mentioned this in a video, but the family that owns Silver Dollar City walk around the park everyday. We met one of them, very sweet lady saying hi to all the workers. Lantern Tour is awesome.
I can confirm all of these facts are true! I go to SDC maybe 3 times a year (I live like 45 minutes away) and have been using all of these tips since I was 2 (I am now 15) I do recommend you bring some water and if you plan on buying anything make sure you have money and I’m talking like $30 for a T-Shirt
Just got back from another wonderful couple of days at SDC! Been going there since I was a kid, probably 10 years old and I'm 64 now LOL! Got to ride everything you highlighted...Time Traveler just blew me away! Great review of this ever increasingly awesome park!
Just have to say, this video and your video like this for Knotts were both super helpful when planning my most recent trip! Please continue making these types of videos!
Don't forget to get a loaf of Cinnamon Bread at the Bakery down by Mystic River Falls and have lunch at the Rivertown Smokehouse tucked in by Mystic River Falls. Pulled Pork is incredible.
i love that what is being circled when he says the marvel cave at 6:00 is not the cave but what i like to call the loop that confuses me every time i walk it.
I visited SDC in 2018 on a big Texas coaster trip. Beautiful park with great coasters. I'm planning on taking my 13 year old son Alex on Labor Day weekend for his first visit there. I had food packed on my first trip, so I never tried any restaurants there. I've gotten the cinnamon bread at Dollywood, but never tried a restaurant there either...that's definitely going to change! We're going to do a half day Saturday night and Sunday before we drive the 11 hours back home to Michigan. 1500 miles and 22 hours of driving in less than 2 days, yes we enthusiasts are a little crazy!
I love this park so much! I got to go twice last year and their coasters are all so good. Wildfire might have the best view in the entire country. It is stunning going up the lift hill or watching the Cobra Roll from the path. I learned that if you dont have the trailblazer pass hit up Powder Keg first as they only ran one train on the Friday and Sunday that I went and man that line moves so slow. Outlaw run and Wildfire were basically walk ons. Great review and advice and that ice cream parlor is amazing
Hello to all ... this park by far is my favorite park of all time ... I live in Washington State & my 88 yr old mother lives close to Branson ... I belong to ACE American Coaster Enthusiasts and I'm a huge Coaster junkie & if your looking for a all Around park this park in itself offers EVERYTHING and the Cave is a MUST even if you don't like tight spaces coz you have to get on your knees in a couple places, the Cave is very Cool the Temps are like 50-60 degrees and great on a summer day, most of all I love all the people working in all the shops doing there Skilled Trades super cool, it's a very well put together place super fun great food & Fantastic rides 👍👍🤠
Thank you so much for this wonderful video about all the wonderful things to do at Silver Dollar City it looks like so much fun the food and shopping looks like fun to thank you for all the tips it was fun and was like I was with you along for all the fun of the park
Season Pass holder, I would add if you have the pass then Pass-holder appreciation days and other events for pass-holders will get you in the park an hour early. This year my wife and I hit ALL the Coasters (minus powderkeg as it was down) the flooded mine, and Carousel and still made opening ceremony while having breakfast. People also seem to forget that in their video's (SDS Opening ceremony is a MUST) Pays proper respect to our Nation and Our Vets. Christmas in the Park is outstanding and that is when Reunion Hall is open for its Christmas meals. I would tell people avoid the snacks for Christmas and hit the actual sit-down restaurants for traditional meals.
I live about an hour and a half away so I have season passes and go all the time but if you are planning to visit for a vacation i think the trailblazers are %100 worth it
My kids spring break coincided with the park opening ‘21. I decided to buy us season passes as we are less than 8 hours from Dallas. Took 4 different trips there and bought a trailblazer season pass on our 2nd trip. We got our money’s worth with those passes as it allowed us to enjoy the park more during our visits. Can’t recommend the Christmas trip more as every ride was open minus Mystic River Falls. And night rides are next level…We love it so much we’re looking at moving to the area as it is BEAUTIFUL!!!
Even if you don't want to buy anything in the shops they are still very nice to look around in. Also how did you mention silver dollar city and not bring up cinnamon bread lol. Silver dollar saloon show is also very fun. Least busy bathrooms are on the backside of powder kegs's que building, no one really knows they're there. SPECULATION: With fire in the hole being rumored to be replaced in a new location i think the next major roller coaster will be in the area of the current attraction and the theater to the northwest. That theater doesn't get used all that much anymore except for special occasions. I think the next coaster will connect the midway from powder keg to Outlaw run. What the coaster is... i have no idea. I don't think it'll be a hyper like some people think as powder keg acts a bit too much like a hyper.
If you want a tip at opening go straight to outlaw run first because it is usually a walk on for at least 30 mins after park opens until people start getting off time traveler and go there next.
We just made our first visit to SDC last thursday. N i agree i wish we would've done a 2day pass! ABSOLUTLETY LOVED THE MYSTIC RIVER FALLS RIDE AND THE COASTERS. WE DIDNT GET TO EVERYTHING SO DEFINITELY PLANNING OUR NEXT TRIP BACK 😊🎉
Don't rush through World of Fun lol. It's a great park. Spend a full day there and see how much their really is to take in. Oceans of Fun is, in my opinion, not just a good but a great water park. It takes a full day to really do both parks justice. And it's worth the time. That's why it's still so small. People look at it like it's just a pass over or rush through park. Much like all of KC. But we have a great city and a great park in WoF/Oof. Great video. Silver Dollar City is my all time favorite park. I knew all of this but it's all really good advice for a beginner. Another tip I would add is make sure you have room for souvenirs in your packing arrangements. They have so much cool stuff. For adults and kids. I have an engraved bat from there just because my first time I went I was young and didn't have any money and saw them making one. So I said when I grew up I'd get my own lol. I still have it. Great video. Cheers. Also, find the place with the GOOD chicken strips. They're all good, but one place has different than the rest and those are the best ones. No hints though. Part of the fun is finding out where people are getting THOSE ones from. Also Also, Branson has come a really long way. Downtown is a great night out. With the family or just the wife. Lots to do and see. Cheers.
Where is the mentioned of THE CINNAMON BREAD. When I go to SDC, my favorite things to eat are the skillets and cinnamon bread. I can do all of the adult coasters (all but grand exposition) and see some shows all in one day without the trailblazer pass. Also, the coaster lines are really short right before closing.
This was definitely helpful. I am hoping to get there by 2024 or 2025. Another recommendation I have for staying in Branson is Big Cedar Lodge. It may be a bit pricey but it's perfect for those of you who love the great outdoors and you could make a few days just staying at that place. But I do have one important question about the Marvel Cave Tours. You said arrive early to make your reservations. Is it possible to make your reservations online so that you'll have a time to explore them in place before arriving?
Can you buy a trailblazer pass while you are there or do they sell out? Going May 2 and 3, Thursday and Friday and debating on buying the trailblazer passes before or wait till we are there?
Shameless plug video right here, Brando!! The endless, commercial-quality B roll of all the different diabetes inducing foods... Relax, now... You're getting sleepy now... Let's try this one: Welcome to Theme Park Propaganda, my name's Brandon! Oh no... It's working! I must go to SDC. I must go to SDC. I MUST GO TO SILVER DOLLAR CITY!!! I WILL EVEN PAY FOR PARKING. Why? Cause Brandon told me to. That's why. OK, I'm done. I still enjoyed the video, sir. 🤣
Paid over $300 to get in and only rode 4 rides. The lines were crazy. The fast pass would be worth it if the initial reg admission wasn’t so expensive. I give this place a 4 out of 10. Would not recommend. Not worth the cost.
just bit of feedback for you we need to talk more about tips for those with disabilities and talk more in videos about this more as the disability tips is not talked about enough. What I see is even quite a few people don't know how to run a trip to the park and if more would be done to gentally educate people and disability procedures need to t to be talked about more. either in future videos or go back and do some seprite ones and if there is parks that don't have a fully understandable or any disability procedures for them riding and stuff.
Only bad thing is this will increase the amount of people who will take advantage of it even if the do not need it. It's one of my biggest pet peeves with theme parks
I think then we can get into the whole thing what exactly is a disability that is the thing I can see you are coming from. even with me even though I am blind i have had ride teams people from ride teams reckommend it to me. and I am in no way saying I can't stand in a line but sometimes i had no choice when going with somebody in wheelchair. haha! Nice! Thank you!
Maybe don’t go on thunderation because it’s extremely rough and my mom couldn’t ride anything else after that and was hurting the rest of the vacation

I was really lucky when I went for the first time I had all walk on’s. And the ride that I could not get enough of was powder keg.

Branson in general is worth a week long vacation
100% agree!!

I am going to sliver Dollar next June in 2023 for the first time is out law run worth and time traveler worth
YES!! it’s so good!!
@@KeepRidinCoasters thank you for letting me know
How do you get to the free parking lot and access the tram?
How legit is the rumor of the new Fire in the Hole ride??
Pretty legit I’m hearing
IS THE WATER PARK WORTH IT? ITS IT A FULL DAY TYPE PARK. MY KIDS ARE 9 AND12

😊😊
Should i visit silver dollar city or Dollywood both are like the same distance from me
I’d take SDC over Dollywood anyday
SDC hands down. Best park in the world. Don't forget the mine. Soooo amazing.

Is the cave exploration an extra charge?$
Nope not the daytime one... the flashlight one is an uncharge.:)

The daytime one is also fun, but EVERYTHING is lit up.
