    I definitely think the semantic hair splitting is not useful for me, or anyone in my life who also suffers from religious trauma. Trying to define it out of existence doesn't make it go away.

      I appreciate the feedback. I debated on whether to post this video for that reason. As someone who has experienced religious trauma myself, I would NEVER define it out of existence. Rather, I was hoping to give more shape and clarity on how to better frame it and resolve it. If my religious trauma can be broken down into a series of activities (i.e. body posture, specific thoughts, breathing patterns, physiological sensations, etc.) that I am doing either consciously or unconsciously, then I can begin to intentionally make these processes more conscious and change the series of activities. But I can see how I didn't communicate this clearly or effectively.

      @@iwasjustintrance Well I appreciate that my criticism came off as constructive and helpful in some way! I was... not in the best state of mind after having had a rather... heated conversation IRL. So, thank you for taking it in such a positive way and I can definitely see where you're coming from now. I hope you all the best, you're doing good work out here, I think!
