Lovely. So much better than my small spare bedroom. Lol. I’m grateful for it, but would be even more grateful for a space like yours. Have a great day Becca.
WOW, as a new" quilter of only about a year and a half (all while doing a complete remodel of the house were living in/flipping), I quilt in my living room on folding tables. We are planning to move to Alaska, build our dream home and follow our dreams. In this we have been planning a serious crafting space for all my creative needs. This video was just so on point. I appreciate you taking your time to show us what you've done and what works best for you in your space. You have given me so much inspiration for my new crafting space! Thank you!
Becca, This was just wonderful. I love so much about how you've got things set up. I've done a lot of the same things in slightly different ways. And I collect "tacky" magnets. They're going to be on the inside of my kitchen cabinets as soon as I cut the metal inserts for the doors. I love your inspiration walls. I've covered my wall spaces with my cross stitch and cross stitch I've rescued from thrift stores. Your outdoor views are phenomenal. I have a view of the hills of East TN. Thank you so much for sharing. Thank you for inspiring me and so many others with your joy and enthusiasm. ❤
What a beautiful, fun, and functional studio. Thank you for sharing and the wonderful list you compiled to help with organization and creativity. Enjoy your wonderful studio!
I LOVE your space too! You have it arranged perfectly! Thanks for sharing. I also store my patterns in notebook binders. I have them sorted by pattern size--2-1/2," 5," 10," fat quarters, etc. It works for me.
When I'm having "one of those days," I can put up one of your videos, relax and giggle. Keep on making the videos and I'll keep watching and sharing. 💜
This video was great Becca. It allowed me to feel more personal and now when you do your videos I know your surroundings and not just the wall behind you. Your ideas and setup is inspirational! ThAnKS for sharing. kj from Okoboji IA
GM. What a wonderful room. Love how you did the outside. Loved to see the windows and the seating area. Bet Mom really enjoys being in the room while you are sewing and making utubes. Loved the area where you have for the longarm and the quilt ladder. What a great way to use the ladder. Now when the quilts are quilted do you have a special place to pile them until Mom does the binding? Guess the next big project is a garage to keep the vehicles out of the winter storm. Have you set a date for your parents to move in yet? It will be neat to see MaMa Nancy. You are so lucky to have your mom and then she will be close and no more traveling. Have a great weekend and thanks 4 sharing
There's an ottoman behind mom's chair that holds all the quilts that need to be bound. It's getting pretty thick! We don't get much snow in this part of the country - and if we do, everything shuts down and it's gone in a day or two. I think our next project is doing a lovely deck in our yard. :). Parents are moving in Spring 2023!
I am the sheet protector queen at my home. I cannot imagine not having a supply on hand for storing reference material and financial records for monthly billing needs. There are countless categories for helping me stay organized so I can have time to think about creating. Thank you for the tour. There is a wealth of information for sharing. Happy creating!🧵🪡🌸
Love your space! Being organized and having all the pretty fabric on display is very important for me as well. I have lots of wire rack shelving to display all me pretties!
Congratulations! You are such a hard functional worker/maker and deserve your fabulous space. Yes, I too keep my projects separated in their own containers. It helps keep me organized and sane. Be Well
I wish I had more time to watch videos because you are great! I love to watch your mind turn and hear the logic behind your ideas! I will continue to try to tune in as much as possible. I really learn from you. Keep up the good work because you have what it takes and you are really one of the greats!

Visiting with you in your amazing sewing space and a room with a view would definitely be on my bucket list! I have no idea what state you live in, but it would be well worth the trip. I know that your viewers feel the same way I do and that you’re a friend without ever meeting each other. Thanks for the cool video and I have a feeling that it’s going to be a “Binge Becca” day for me 😊.
@@sewbecca I’m in central WI. We’re in the middle of an ice storm ⛈️ right now from yesterday, but it should be done soon. I actually love winter and all the seasons so living in WI is really great!
I can't thank you enough for your tour! You are a quilting geek after my own heart. Knowing the measurements of your room and all your organization tips is so helpful. We are building a 22 x 23 foot studio space. I'm confident now it will be large enough for my longarm and all my kit. I can't be creative in a messy space either. Even the carpet planning helps. Maybe someday I'll be brave and jump on the TH-cam bandwagon. You are the best 😊
I didn’t mention this in the video, but if I could go back and change it, I would. Put an outlet in the floor for your longarm AND your sewing station. I did that for my sewing cabinet but wish I would have done it for the longarm!
Thank you for the tour! Beautiful sewing space. You did a great job planning it out so it works. You are so organized too! Love the sitting area. What a warm, inviting space to inspire creativity. Thank you for sharing.
Good Morning Becca, Wow, I adore your quilting studio, who wouldn’t man, it’s perfect. It makes me feel happy for you and I like that. ☺️ I really enjoyed seeing your space. I have a nice “mini space” 🤣😂🤣 to work and create in that is working much better than what I had prior. Have a wonderful weekend. 🥰 Chris
Oh, my heart! I miss VA so much sometimes. I grew up in Fauquier and am now living in the Mid-South. I recognized the area when you were showing the house originally- we lived on 123 across from Occoquan years ago. Used to work at a fabric store across from IKEA part time. Thanks for the beautiful view. Lovely space - full of inspiration. I know sewing in the motel made you all the more thankful for your space. So worth the work and wait! Congrats!
I just ordered 3 mini binders with tabs and binder sheets and cannot wait until they arrive. Thank you so much for the tip...you have helped me out of some of the sewing room clutter !!!!!
I need to get a flight attendant friend! I love the thimbles! I'm not a collector, but those are tempting. They take up so little space -- lots of joy in just a moment of space!
@@sewbecca I too love your collection. I’ve started collecting miniature vintage sewing machines. They’re either metal or ceramic/porcelain and painted. So cute. I’m also planning to re-start collecting small tea sets which fascinated me as a girl. It’s so fun, isn’t it?
Organization is the key. Seeing everything is so important to choices. I need to get my fabrics in orders. I have large plastic bins containing fabrics. They are too heavy for me to handle now. Not good. Need to reorganize. You have a very very beautiful studio. Love your windows giving you natural light. Your views are so relaxing. Nature is wonderful.
Hey, Becca! Your Quilting Studio is SUCH an amazing space! I’m so glad that you were able to successfully transform your garage into the workspace you had envisioned. As always, I love your tips. I’m definitely going to get a few of the small binders for my quilting and bag making patterns! Thanks for sharing! Take care, and stay well! Becca! What a dream come true probably for most of us quilters. It is gorgeous! You have given me a few great ideas. The binders for all of my patterns. Perfect. I have the very same Sterilite containers as well. My space is a good chunk of our dining room. We don't use it being seniors so it's mine. I've begun a make over of sorts as well. I only quilt so don't need extra space for other crafts. The view and light are great most of the time. Summers have been smoky like now. A wildfire is burning across the hwy on the other mountain range. We're on an evacuation watch now. It kills me to think of all my beautiful fabric and Juki going up in flames😱 Nothing I can do about it though. Praying for the best🙏. Thanks for your dream studio tour. It is just what I'd have if I could 🧵🙋
I’ve got 6or more 3 inch binders “ full” of crochet patterns…..some thread, acrylic ranging from very thin to thick yarn ! I love my binders !! Hopefully, this will give me ideas for more binders for my sewing patterns . Am enjoying the “ nickel “ tour !!😂🥰🥰

I have a Martelli cutting table too, and I love being able to raise or lower it as needed. I never had back pain anymore!

I saw your box opening with the August box and I was totally blown away with what you received…..wow, Christmas in august. Love your sewing studio…..and yes I need more storage…lol don’t we all! Thanks Karol
Loved seeing the tour! I took inspiration from you in regards to the project boxes. I don't have storage shelves like you so I got one of the rainbow 12 drawer carts. I put a project in each one and it works great. Thanks for the idea.
I could absolutely use your help, Becca🆘❣️There isn't a solitary bit of advice that isn't paramount to a happy, useful, lovely, organized sewing room! My goodness! Would you like to visit Florida & create a dream sewing area with/for me? Wouldn't that be a dream come true (for me anyway)! 💝
Love your studio! We are totally on the same wave length! My room is also our garage, converted into a sewing space. I am like you and used 8’ pantry cabinets from my original kitchen. I too use tge space on top. The canvas baskets used for bookcase units fit on the top shelves perfectly and I put my odd fabrics in those. I have put tge contents in a notebook, listing what is in each container so I can easily find the bin that holds hold the listed fabric. That keeps me from having to go through each and every bin. Too high to see a printed label so I have one wall tagged with letters of the alphabet and I simply go to the corresponding letter in my notebook. The adjacent wall has overhead cabinets set above a counter and also has bins on the very top shelves tagged by number to correspond with contents listed in my notebook. No storage space wasted. I also use bins for projects and binders for my patterns. I have one great chair and plan to eliminate one open bookshelves set between my 3 windows on the garage door wall in order to get room for a sewing partner. We paid a lot of attention to lighting and I am very happy with the light which included two skylights for extra daytime light. My husband had all of this done for me a few years ago and tgen he sadly passed. I lost my sewing mojo but am now ready to get back to my beautiful room. I feel so blessed to be surrounded by his gift. Happy sewing to Becca!
Your room sounds like an absolute dream - and an amazingly beautiful gift your husband left for you! He'd want you to be happy and spend time in your studio - I'm glad your getting your sew-jo back!

Hello Becca, that was such a lovely video, thank you for sharing. I love how you have organized your space and working area. I would love to know more of your video equipment/cords for live/recording videos, how you edit your videos and all those behind the scene things that you do. I find it hard to switch from camera to camera with no delays etc, so any help or advice is highly appreciated. I also love your unboxing videos, i look forward to watching them every time. Hope you have a lovely day.
Nice video. I am watching TH-cam for quilting room ideas. More like quilting space for now. Our goal is to buy a three bedroom home in two years. The third room is going to be my quilting room as well as the computer room. For now I am taking courses as I change careers. I finish my courses this year. So I have a little ways to go. But I liked your video.
Hi Becca. What an amazing space! So huge, heaps and heaps of quality storage. Love love love it! I’m in awe! I’m almost past my ‘use-by’ date, so will never have any5ing like you have, but can share yours vicariously! 😍🇦🇺
Thank you for what you do. There is no way that I could have all that equipment in my sewing room. I commend you. I to also have the cordless Panasonic and I love it. I have 2 of them! Love your wall. I also use the same totes. I will have to get more! Thank you again for all you do! Have a great week.
Thanks for sharing! I also use binders for patterns and bins for projects, but I only have a spare bedroom to work in so I try to keep my “collection “ to a minimum. Haha…you can guess how that goes. Have a wonderful day!
When I design my home I design a quilting room for me. All the guys that worked on our house always call it a the man's cave. But I let them know it's my room they couldn't believe it.
Even though I have a large room, I still have a finite amount of space - so I still have to exercise some self control. Being able to see all of my fabric really helps!
If I have a designer, I keep them together. I group everything else in color groups! Helps me know what I have and everything is in bins and labeled. I keep scraps organized by width or size ( 5”)
Looks amazing! Can't wait till my garage/Studio is done; still have about 75 boxes to unpack and organize...lol Great job and thanks for the inspiration!
Hi Becca. This is the 2nd time I've watched this video. I'm in awe of the square footage you have but so thankful that I have a corner of the home office, about 75 sq ft.
@@sewbecca thank you, Becca for your lovely response! You are so inspired and I think it is wonderful that you pass on your gifts of sewing and tips to help everyone be more successful doing what we love to do! You definitely have a new follower and I passed your channel on to sewing friends! Thank you!
I love your studio too. You are a lucky woman❣️
😊 thank you
Incredible room . Thank you for sharing
Thank you!
Hi Becca. What an amazing space! So huge, heaps and heaps of quality storage. Love love love it! I’m in awe! I’m almost past my ‘use-by’ date, so will never have any5ing like you have, but can share yours vicariously! 😍🇦🇺
Thanks so much! 😊
Thank you for what you do. There is no way that I could have all that equipment in my sewing room. I commend you. I to also have the cordless Panasonic and I love it. I have 2 of them! Love your wall. I also use the same totes. I will have to get more! Thank you again for all you do! Have a great week.
I had a Panasonic iron and it didn’t even work for six months before it would’t heat any more. I got a Rowenta to replace it. So disappointed.
Love the colour of your walls. Great space
Thank you! 😊
Wow, you are so organized. I love the project bins that stack and I’ll plan on adding some to my space!
Those bins are SUPER nice!!!
Love your space! Got some great ideas that I will take into consideration when I set up my room.
Please do!
Fabulous, inspiring, beautiful and am just in awe!!!!
Thank you so much!
Love your studio! I'm so happy for you that you have a place you love to create! What is the depth of the wall shelves?
The shelves are the Billy Bookcases from Ikea - they're about 11" deep. :)
If I have a designer, I keep them together. I group everything else in color groups! Helps me know what I have and everything is in bins and labeled. I keep scraps organized by width or size ( 5”)
Your studio is beautiful I have a garage I have been wanting to convert for my longarm, great idea,
You should! I don't miss having a garage because...well, we never had one! You can't miss what you didn't have. :)

Looks amazing! Can't wait till my garage/Studio is done; still have about 75 boxes to unpack and organize...lol Great job and thanks for the inspiration!
If I lived closer, I'd be there in a heartbeat!
@@sewbecca You are sweet! Just have to get through it one box and task at a time...
Hi Becca. This is the 2nd time I've watched this video. I'm in awe of the square footage you have but so thankful that I have a corner of the home office, about 75 sq ft. So it's been about a year since you filmed this. Have you made any substantial changes or updates to your studio? Just asking ... ~~ Lynne
Yes! I’ve made a few changes and plan to post those in a video soon!!
