And it actually looks like Bisimana tied up and was spazing 10m from finish. He probably would have won or still fell before line due to his muscles spazing and cramping. I love the pain of the 800m
This must be an American rule, because it was done at the world championships and the American athlete won gold. You can choose whatever lane you please it's an 800m
@@youssef5666 How could he have known? He was way ahead of the dude in second and athletes do tend to drift wide when they're tired. Athing Mu and Letesenbet Gidey won world titles the same way last year.

He didn't look behind him. He had no idea where anyone was. He was exhausted and was literally collapsing as he's crossing the line. His right leg gave out too. It was not on purpose.
Sooxmamy athelets do this and don't get called out or DQ'd. Even at this same meet there were at least two other guys who did the same. Not as drastic. But the same. This is the only guy to get called for it. Not saying what he did was right, or ok. Just tht many people do it and don't gt called
Dude that is a foul all the way!! you cannot move over to the outside to block another runner. Besides, it's so obvious because the quickest way to the finish is a straight line, so why are you running in a slant?? He got DQ'd and rightfully so. the Texas runner would have pipped him to the line at the rate he was closing him down. Rules are rules!
He didn't think anyone could see him while wearing those sunglasses.
An intentional foul and an immediate DQ is appropriate for blocking his kick and preventing his lane openness by intrusion.
Pretty blatant foul and really unnecessary.
Do you new record 1:40.75 ?
How is it blatant or even a foul. You can cross lanes in an 800m
update: he was DQ'd

That last 100 meters looked like they were running through quicksand.
Why didn’t you tell the result?
my thoughts exactly! C'mon guys!

This Jamaican dude is going to keep getting stronger if he keeps running this race and probably 2 seconds or so faster with a stronger finish.
Definitely Was Not A Foul other guy fell on his own both fell forward for the finish line now the guy from Texas definitely came back good run 🏃🏾♂️
No, the guy from Miss. St. ran to the outside lane to prevent Texas from winning. That's a foul.
He did nothing wrong. He was collapsing as he crossed the line.
