Flotrack is better than most who cover Track and Field, but even they get fixated on the lead guy when a lot is going on often in the main chase groups, there are always races within races. But that was a pretty awesome race, watched it live myself. Bryan Clay invite was awesome this year.
so much time spent filming the one guy alone in the front while all the action was far back.... its a bit dissapointing, i would have loved to see how far back Fay was and how he got to the front

Flotrack are not great at this running thing. I see them get things wrong regularly. SoundRunning, Runnerspace, etc all better. They didn’t even know which guy Brian Fay was even though he has a top 10 in Euro XC and one of the best 5k times this year before this race
Matthew Boling. 9.98 with a 1.6 wind. It's legal. He joins the sub 10 club. Bingtian Su running 9.83 at the Olympics tore down the barriers. The sky is the limit now
@@christopherhamill525 I know right? Not gonna lie that was the most insane kick ever wow don’t sleep on the Huskies

Watch the last lap of the 2011 10000m World Championships :)
@waterproof4403 Mediocre compared to the best kickers
It would be great if they didn't just have the camera zoomed in on whoever is in first and would show the field from time to time

@@karlchristen my friend don’t ever say flo track is half decent 😂
That's my big brother, love you bro
What you guys feed him for breakfast? Wheaties. That's an insane last 200. Congratulations to your brother. See him in the next Olympics for sure.
I hope you run too and have your brother’s work ethic. That’s some fine tuned genes there!
Had morgan about 60.9 last lap, Fay about 56
These commentators are awesome they’re so enthusiastic
Watch the last lap of the 2011 men's 10000m final :)
hey! that's my brother!
A pleasure to witness excellence.
That was insane.. he came from nowhere.. i felt bad for the one who was on the lead till almost the end
Wow! Great run. I can still feel the pain of sharps spikes in my feet catching guys off the finish to keep them from falling.
You’re not supposed to be able to run 56 for the last 400 of a 5k holy crap
Uh that's is fast..
There have been athletes running a last lap of 53 or quicker in a 10k lol. This is actually common
Although it does beg the question: What was he doing the first 11.5 laps?
THAT WAS INSANE
think he ran abt a 26 sec last 200
Yeah 26-27 range

Yes!
The Race is not over, until you cross the finish line!
The Winning Runner understood That, while closing in on the last lap!
What was Fay's final lap? 53? Wow!!!!
Wow those are some serious wheels on Fay!
Carried the Huskies to a 3rd fastest DMR in NCAA history andthe announcers have him mixed up all race 😑
Are they saying, Beetlescum? Ha!!
Legend has it, no kick has ever made.
Good God. I cannot run a single lap under 65 seconds, how on Earth do they do this 12.5 times in a row??!!!
I’m proud to attend UW
It’s in a heat! 😂😂😂😂 good win though.
Chicks dig a guy with stamina that knows how to finish.
Uh huh.
That's how you win great training

Split?
replying to this so when someone answers ill know
I think he was 12:20 - 12:21 at the bell, so he closed in like a 55-56
He ran 55
