@@davidinvenio3094 no one is too stupid for this stuff, it’s actually really simple, never get discouraged about science, it can be a lot easier than you think:)
The path of the wires are essentially reversed here so that power is created. When any metal moves in a magnetic field it will generate a current, science is lazy and doesn’t like to do work so naturally to stop the moving object in the magnetic field a current in the wire is “induced” or created so that the current in wire creates its own magnetic field that is in the opposite direction, the generated current is diverted away and collected at this point and you have created own electricity.
This process uses a basic principle of electromagnetics, none of this would have been possible without Faraday, Ampere and Maxwell who research this 100’s years ago, it’s pretty incredible they discovered it so long ago

The only problem he noticed is every couple of years that bearing would go bad from constantly spinning. Buuuuuuut with how cheap solar power is these days I was shocked that they ran 110 lights off a 12 volt battery instead of maybe like some 12 volt LEDs that would use hardly any power at all and you'd probably be fine with like one, 100 watt solar panel. He got to talking about his place up in Prescott and said he was 90% self powered, the only thing utility he has run to his property is city water.. First off, its a tv show, its not real, they're legal lisensed distillers. Secondly, they need lights if they're gonna do stuff at night. This or a generator. Lights either way, but one you have a generator making a racket ect. Running out of gas, maintenance.

High voltage alternator rewired with spinning wheel drive going onto the line would put out more power and with the MMFT system the power supply would be better regulated. Waterproofing this system is the most difficult part. I would also get a series of solar powered lights on the roof if the area gets well maintained light from the sun. 6-12 lights sourced into the solar panel per 2 would work or one 100/200 watt solar panel and a 200mh deep cycle gel battery would work or two in series.
