OMG Caroline..... the spinach crepes are to die for, I just improvised with my leftovers which was........ tomato bulgar, oven baked eggplant and zucchini and mozzarella cheese.....I just put tomato sauce and peccorino cheese on top and microwave ..... yummy .... thank you again from Melbourne Australia ❤

I loved the flavour of the roaster red pepper mixture when I made it with the beans and halloumi last time...always thought it would be a delicious pasta sauce so I'm adding some pasta water and having it with rigatoni tonight. 😊

Could you devote a video on farro? I make mine with garlic, olive oil, diced carrots, celery and onions and I cook it in chicken broth. Sometimes I add sun dried tomatoes. I would love to see all your ideas. Also it’s great when you give us all the examples of ways to use what you make in other dishes. Ciao❤️

Honestly I just use super high quality cold pressed extra virgin olive oil in a dark bottle (never clear) for everything! And I can’t help myself but recommend 100% Italian lol Greece makes great oil too, just make sure there’s a certification stamp on it as well such as a IGP - Indicazione Geografica Protetta (Protected Geographical Indication)

Yes I agree!! I bought some and not sure what to do with them! :) I bought Great Northern, Navy Beans, Garbanzo Beans, Pearled Barley, Green Lentils, Farro and I don’t know what do with them :) I know I added some that are not beans but thought I’d add in there as I don’t know 🤷🏼♀️ what do do! :)
I need help with the crepes i cant get the consistency right.. it gets stuck on my pan and then when i try to scrape it off becomes like scrambled eggs 😑

Hello Carol, which recipe are you referring to? I don't always mention all the ingredients because I have links to the recipes with a list of everything in the description of the video!
Would have appreciated more explanation of what you were doing and what the ingredients were. For instance, on the vegetables in the beginning. You were talking the whole time and only showed one spice, the pepper flakes, and no explanation of the other spices and herbs. No explanation of how you made the tomato sauce or paste or whatever. Too much assumption that we viewers will recognize without explanation.

Thank you I am just fished chemo and radiation. Now 30 day break. I want to follow you and make some of the sauces you made to keep on hand in my refrigerator I wish you lived in my kitchen. Want to try to make some of these things and keep in the refrigerator and just makes around different things with toast and such
Great question!! You definitely want to make sure acidic ingredients are in the pan for a short amount of time so this was okay because it was just 20 or so minutes. You mostly want to avoid cooking a tomato sauce and simmering it for hours… also you don’t have to use a cast iron, any oven proof 10 inch round dish works :)
