First, there really arent a good solution for bezel hiders on triple 55". That being said, the left bezel is at the A pillar, the other is so far off to the right, that while you are the one in the drivers seat racing, you dont even see it. When you're watching as a spectator you see things that are non existent when actually driving.
@@podium1racing I’ll have to take your word for it. Im thinking VR and motion system would be better and save about $40k. I’m not an expert, but I’m also not looking at it from a business perspective either so the cost does not include all the expenses needed to have the final product in customers hand.
@@coriddeval1815 not sure I understand but all good! The system has motion and although, yes the monitors are very expensive, it’s def not a 40k difference. VR isn’t for everyone and in public places usually more of a hassle. It’s def here to stay and many swear by it
@@podium1racing I was talking about your running a business, and overhead costs money. To each his own. They both have a place. We have quest 3, Quest Pros, Pimax Crystal even apple vision pro.... VR is in no shape or form NEARLY as crisp or as clean as a 4k screen. Its not even close. VR however DOES have some amazing moments and immersion. We will be doing vidos in the near future with all of these. With VR however for many, they get sick, have too much to fiddle with etc etc. Being where this is placed and how many people will be on it, screens are much easier and lets be honest, looks way better in a room.
i use the Quest 3 and a G29 works great for me and saved me a ton of money. my buddy has a 6k rig and i tried it out and was hooked but i decided to try the vr route before building a crazy setup and i drug the ol g29 out the closet and i think ill stick to that for now. even my buddy regrets his decision after trying my setup lol
I think it's mostly cable management...It looks clean af. For it to look this "cableless", I would have to assume they put in a good amount of hours. Not sure about 20, but more than a couple for sure.
Totally just three usb cables, and just leave them hanging all over. That’s why everyone always asks us where the wires are. We use wireless usb hubs and wireless power for dbox.
Dbox is rather significant in the amount of cables each actuator has, the bridge and power... Just that alone takes hours to install, route and harness.

I dont care how many TV's you have, VR is just miles better in every aspect except resolution. VR puts in you IN the car in full 3D. Doesnt feel like a game, but actually driving a car. Flat screen Sims you still see the outside world and are not nearly as immersive... Other than that this looks insane
We have and use both and reasons why people choose one over the other…. The worst part is you haven’t tried this so wouldn’t know. In ways, it’s way better than VR, in others VR is better For a sim in a place with many people using it, screens are much better. For people who aren’t constantly glued to screens, motion sickness is much easier to manage for people with screens. In any case, very easy to plug in a meta quest 3 and use it. Also don’t forget you can do more than just race on these. Games like COD / hell divers etc don’t support VR but can do triples no problem.
Beautiful build but I’m not sure about the sub woofer mounting. Not only would it rattle all the bolts, subwoofers are designed to work near the floor. That’s how the bass gets distributed around the room. Maybe mount it too the foot on the stand Instead? Also I think a seat belt tensioner would be a nice addition on the rig.
Few things - If you actually look up subwoofer placement - They are best placed at ear level. Most people THINK its the floor but this is only because of ease and most people not willing to mount to the wall. If you look at theatres and more, they are all wall mounted at higher levels. It will not shake the bolts.
Respectfully ... A $70k custom rig, supplemented by a $400 all in one sub/sat combo ...? Is this typical? I'm not sure. Immersive Characteristics; - Visual elements A+ - Physical elements A+ - Audio element ... ? What I am certain about is the sub and speakers aren't of commensurate capability to the other elements of immersion. I guess the end user can upgrade to a fully immersive, more impactfully realistic audio system. Other than that, a killer system. Jamie'll know ...

I'm sort of confused. What was the reason for mounting the subwoofer behind the monitors and the speakers below the monitors. The best immersion would come from the speakers being mounted above the monitors angled down towards the user and the subwoofer being situated depending on the specific rooms acoustics (whatever placement results in the strongest bass resonance). Also, the rear L/R speakers should be mounted to the rig just behind the head at ear level. With this setup, the only reason to have speakers at 180 degrees is with 7.1 surround and even then they should still be above the monitors angled towards the user.
This is a fantastic service and an outstanding company. It's truly refreshing to witness American voices in the Sim racing community building such high-quality rigs with great attention to detail. I'm incredibly thrilled about your success, and I hope Organ and Segura give you plenty of orders.
Hahahahaha they ripped off a guy with so much money he didn't even care ro realise what he's buying and the incomplete version of a rig he'd receive. I could deliver something better with half the money.
@@tinny6065 Please do - would love to see it. Unfortunately based on your comment, you have zero clue what's involved on this sim nor what it takes to run a business. lol
13:07 For a system in that pricerange I would expect the monitors to be fixed on something made precisely for it and not on an oversize wallmount from the local hardwarestore... They could have made their custom bracket fit directly to the screen instead....
VR is still too wonky for a casual non-computer guy. Too many variables that can go wrong and result in a bad experience. I'm saying that as a primarily VR simracer. I'm OK to put up with that because of the immersion and better car control it gives me, but for an average Joe (no pun intended, lol) VR is probably too much hassle
Pilot here, gotta ask; MSFS portion, he wasn’t using any pedal, will this rig have pedal control or is it just missing a TR axis in this config? I did notice a twitch of left pedal as he was coming in to YTZ, so assuming he had some pedal control, was it coming from the double ‘cyclic’ paddles? Perhaps some small pedals at the feet (though I saw no movement)? Might buy a rig for some flight hours but looking at other options as well. If it’s tailored to racing there are other rigs to suit my specific needs. Just a few questions, though I’m sure you’ve got room to maneuver based on the price of these rigs. Cheers eh?
This rig DOES have a basic set of rudder pedals well in front and lower than the racing pedals that you can see. This rig is primary for racing with flight being a minor secondary. We do offer full flight sims and we have had super hornet pilots, helicopter pilots and commercial airline pilots come in a try them to give us feedback. At this point so many are absolutely blown away by how real they feel. We are working towards FAA cert systems to get real hours on.
There's a reasonable chance. When Rogan gets into stuff he generally dives down the rabbit hole pretty deep and obsesses till he's as good as he can be. Just from watching JRE over the years I could probably list about 10 activities he's got into and obsessed over till he was legit excellent at them.
@ed78 First, Dbox, the only FIA certified motion system, does a great job with traction loss. Pro drivers of all different disciplines have used this with us and tell us how incredible it is. The haptics and vibrations communicate traction loss so well. That being said, Dbox is finally releasing an actual Yaw axis add on. We will have it soon to demo and to show. Releases this summer.
@@podium1racing Sure they'll say that before actually trying a 5DOF system. Yaw=traction loss axis, this system does not have it, therefore the way it simulates traction loss is inferior and nothing like a real car... this is why like you just said they're adding it now. Not trying to come down too hard on this setup, its nice as hell don't get me wrong, but i've driven one like it and a 5 DOF promisu and its night and day.
@@TheTReed78 Honest question - Have you tried a Dbox system? Which 5DOF system have you tried / have? Asking as we have tried many (Subjectively as its not like there are tons avail) Many are not real feeling at all, delayed. Curious as to if you've tried something we havent so we can try it.
I’m researching to build my first PC. Why aren’t you getting stable 120fps with that setup and 4090? Isn’t that the most powerful GPU? Is 120fps 4k on triples just not possible?

It actually won't until they can figure out how to sell car parts for your car in the big Sims. Real racing is big because of the sponsorship money involved. The cars sell parts to the consumer. You can't do that in sim racing beyond seats, wheels and pedals, and shifters.

im with my g29 can beat Joe Rogan on any sim race anytime.... its all about SKILL and not fancy wheel, pedals ecc. people dont fall for this staff if you are not rich and want to just burn ur money.
It's called a sim setup not a trash setup. No offense placing a cheap wheel on top of a desk with a single 27in screen doesn't count as a sim setup. The good thing is that you can still use race sims with both setups regardless.
I would rather be at Joe's sim racing skill level with a rig like this, than be the best in the world playing on a garbage g29...... Nobody cares you can go around a track at an average pace.
Great to see a business owner that knows his stuff. Nothing wrong with being a Heli Nerd bro. Awesome rigs, be cool as hell to build some of those. Also, might wanna start looking into games like Elite Dangerous and Star Citizen, lots of space nerds out there too.

I like the modularity of it. Very nice. I also like the curves of the monitors to make a semi-circle. Joe could also play FPSs and enjoy those screens. I built my own helicopter controls based around the Cabri G2. They don't look pretty but they work
Being in the automotive audio profession for 35 years, these setups really need a higher end sound system, including subwoofers and sound transducers. It would make the experience much much better!
@@stefanbrown5872 Gotcha, I don't live close to anyone so I get that. I geuss I was thinking that someone able to spend that much on a setup wouldn't be either, but it would make a difference if possible. Although Bass transducers can still be added to the frame and chair to reproduce the extreme low frequencies with just vibration. Therefore adding, road vibrations, bumps, bangs, etc etc. Pretty much anything below 40hz let's say, and that lends to a bit more realistic experience. My cousin built a custom gaming setup like this and with the addition of the audio setup as mentioned it was an absolutely thrilling experience compared to headphones. I was just suggesting to make a more realistic experience. Have a good one!

I didn't see you test or setup the computer for efficiency or the games. Sounds like you get paid to do the shopping for someone. Just because everything works doesn't mean it works well. This is just based on your opening statement of your the best ... I don't think so sir.
You got it. We just slap it all together and don’t test anything. Never. Glad to see that you somehow can get it better working than we can. You really should look into starting your own Sim racing business and help the Sim racing community do better. We think you would do a phenomenal job just based on your post. maybe we can hire you as a consultant. What our company actually does is we spend millions of dollars a month working with all the brands around the world to ship product here to the United States and have it for people in the community like yourself to be able to purchase it and have it shipped to you within a day. Then we had customers who decided that they wanted us to go ahead and build it for them which it’s known throughout the community how well we do. What’s not impressive Is somebody online who wants to pat himself on the back because he bought something for a “budget” from a place just like us (as we sell all the individual items online for people like you to buy them from us and ship it to you from the United States) and then talk about how he does it better. You’re looking at one system as if it’s the only thing that we do. PS we actually work, as mentioned, with all the brands, and actually help them develop future products and improve their software and hardware before it comes out. You’re welcome.
Just a thought, how cool would it be to have the seat set up also be an electric go cart that you can drive around a warehouse then just drive it up to your simulator rig and still use the same controls.
I was watching this for the thumbnail and I was off doing something else and I knew that voice from a mile away, Its so cool what Harrison has ended up doing from when I started watching him back in the early early hypebeast days
Shouldn't there be a stand or little desk to hold the mouse and keyboard? nvm lol 21:15 bro what is that little hand held thing he is using for the pc?? I need that
Great great setup. Only small niggle I have is the screens look way too low for the seat height - but that's easy to fix. Depends on how tall Joe is I guess!
Putting aside the obvious "you can spend half that put it together yourself," some of these parts don't make a lot of sense. -The Recaro seat is totally unnecessary. It's $7,000. Waste of money, but anything for clout I guess. I have a Corbeau DFX that I got for $400 brand new and it's the most comfortable bucket seat out there. - I'm disappointed to see Asetek stuff - if you're spending $70,000, at least throw a Simucube Ultimate on there. -Why not all three pedals be the Simucube Active pedals? It's $70k. -Why is there not a harness? With that motion rig, you need it to help keep you in the seat. - Monitors are pretty unnecessary as well, but it is a flight sim rig also so I guess I could let it slide. Still, I'd rather have VR in a flight sim rig. For sim racing though those monitors are really unnecessary too. The biggest you want for triples is 32". Anything bigger is just a waste of vertical space. You don't need to see the ceiling or the door cards. - I have a hard time believing any PC would be able to push 120fps on 4k triples at max settings.
Interesting take on things and thank you for the multiple comments of the same content... - (Recaro) The seat is $4500 and wanted so provided. - (Asetek Stuff) You can be disappointed all you want lol. The fact is we use both, do blind testing constantly and 9 out of 10 times people chose the invicta. For those who are trying different sims and cars, Asetek is amazing as it auto changes the profiles where fanatec, moza, and even Simucube you have to change profiles based on sims and cars. The goal for this was ease of use for the studio and people not forgetting what profile is activated and having to deal with it feeling terrible if not set for the right sim / car - (Pedals) The throttle as you mentioned is a moot point, and for many, so is the clutch. We don't just set a price and then put items to it. We price it out based on what goes on the rig. In this case Heusinkveld ultimates with the active brake was more than adequate. We have plenty of systems where we do however use all three. - (Harness) The motion does not through you out of the seat.... at all. Harnesses are easy to add however again, being this is at the studio where people will jump in and out, having to constantly adjust the harness for different body types youll find many people just stop using them and they are just left hanging off the side of the chair. - (Screens) We have thousands - literally - thousands of people visit our location. EVERY SINGLE TIME when they try 32's, 45's, 48's and 55's they love the 55's. It's actually incredible, everything for the person in the seat becomes actually one to one sizing and spacing and the immersion is incredible. We sell plenty of systems with triples 32's however for every one triple 32 we sell multiple of large size screens. It's what customers want. you can disagree all you want however it doesn't change the fact that customers are always asking for larger. - (4090 performance) Again, you can have a hard time believe that a 4090 can run this on full settings at a stable 120 fps. We have shown it many times, run countless systems with this build and everything runs amazing. People were running these same screens on 3090s...... we've tested it with 4070s and although not above 120 def at 100+ (of course we only sell them with 4090s) With you being into sim racing, chances are you've seen Will's rig from Boosted Media, probably know they are triple 65" screens and run great and yet generally seen from the community as an amazing setup as its so life like.

The worst part is you haven’t tried this so wouldn’t know. In ways, it’s way better than VR, in others VR is better
For a sim in a place with many people using it, screens are much better.

Yeah that sub placement got me too. What a rig!
Few things - If you actually look up subwoofer placement - They are best placed at ear level. Most people THINK its the floor but this is only because of ease and most people not willing to mount to the wall. If you look at theatres and more, they are all wall mounted at higher levels.
It will not shake the bolts.

Pilot here, gotta ask;
MSFS portion, he wasn’t using any pedal, will this rig have pedal control or is it just missing a TR axis in this config?
I did notice a twitch of left pedal as he was coming in to YTZ, so assuming he had some pedal control, was it coming from the double ‘cyclic’ paddles? Perhaps some small pedals at the feet (though I saw no movement)?

What our company actually does is we spend millions of dollars a month working with all the brands around the world to ship product here to the United States and have it for people in the community like yourself to be able to purchase it and have it shipped to you within a day. Then we had customers who decided that they wanted us to go ahead and build it for them which it’s known throughout the community how well we do.
What’s not impressive Is somebody online who wants to pat himself on the back because he bought something for a “budget” from a place just like us (as we sell all the individual items online for people like you to buy them from us and ship it to you from the United States)
and then talk about how he does it better.

The goal for this was ease of use for the studio and people not forgetting what profile is activated and having to deal with it feeling terrible if not set for the right sim / car
- (Pedals) The throttle as you mentioned is a moot point, and for many, so is the clutch.
People were running these same screens on 3090s...... we've tested it with 4070s and although not above 120 def at 100+ (of course we only sell them with 4090s)
With you being into sim racing, chances are you've seen Will's rig from Boosted Media, probably know they are triple 65" screens and run great and yet generally seen from the community as an amazing setup as its so life like.
Not to mention that the CPU should've been a X3D chip instead of puting a 13900k
@@MCKL8 Chandler misspoke as it was the 14th Gen but that of course won’t mean anything to.
Even if we used the X3D like you would have cause you clearly know so much about everything, it still wouldn’t matter. Lol.
Besides, it’s only a 20k build right?
@@podium1racing I was watching the video of you guys reacting to jimmy when i heard him say that it was actually a 14th gen and i thought about you would probably reply lol
Craftsmanship deluxe! You guys are out of this world!!
Thank you so much.
What are you using at 21:06 as a mouse and a controller?
Rii keyboard mini
I would love to teach Joe sim racing. Hopefully he gets involved a little bit, but the guy is so busy. Sim racing needs a big name.
Max verstappen is a obsessive sim racing nerd.
@@sammalloc269I was about to say Max obviously he isn’t as big as Joe lol 😂 bruh
@@roverguy23 It would be different with Joe though. He’s older. So talking about sim racing on his podcast would bring in a ton of new people. A lot of people in their 30’s-40’s do sim racing and he would add to that crowd.
They're different...wouldn't necessarily say Joe is that much bigger now Max has 3 titles...@@roverguy23
@@Z28Gaming I agree I do hope he does talk about it. He never shows his studio so it would be cool to see it in action. I'm working on building a sim for racing myself.
Absolutely blows my minds that enough people out there have enough money to purchase enough of these rigs that someone can make a business out of it.
Realize that this is not the only thing that we sell. We sell individual items for a few hundred bucks that people will buy so they can build their own. Not everything needs to be this expensive however there are quite a lot of people that are buying rigs of this extent or even more.
@podium1racing my rig is a garbage picked entertainment center mounted with 2x4s and a gmc acadia seat powered with a power supply. Thanks for the reply. If I need anything I'll be sure to check you out! Thinking about an e-brake or some new pedals.
@@Iamtherealflip here to help dude
29:10 Stretch wrap guy. I feel your pain bro. 😤
That's great! Totally missed this hahahaha.
Hello I am trying to get started with sim racing on small budget for Forza horizon 4(maybe 5 later on) and torque drift 2 so I would aso need an E-Brake, what would u recoment.
“Hey Jamie, pull up that video of Podium 1 Racing building my sim rig.”
Nice rig but it appears the TVs need to be less glossy and perhaps install black trim on top and bottom of TVs to block stuff behind the simulator.
The screen protection film is on the screens until final installation, in which case they will be matte. Additionally, we have product to block the seems from the back.
Wow I want to make one of these! Thank you for all of the advice!
20:57 what controler with mini keyboard is that?
Rii Mini Wireless Keyboard! They're awesome.
Yo I've watched a ton of your shoe videos (not a shoe guy though) and randomly came across this video haha, wild! Super cool sim setups. Killing it.
Harry is a friend of ours and wanted to help with some content!
29:10 Get my man a shrink wrap machine, no one want to do pallet by hand when you can get a machine that does it so much better, and you don't have to torture your back.
Did not think I'd see Harrison in a sim racing video. I used to be huge into sneakers, watched his channel a ton. Got out of sneakers and now that money is tied up in sim racing lol
Hes still in his sneakers. Just a friend of ours before we started Podium, moved to Nashville recently next to us and now working with us on some content.
7:35 forged carbon, aka steel?
Funny how it doesnt matter how much u spend, a expensive rig doesnt make you any better ... I was able to get top 100 in the skippy with a g27 mounted to a custom wood framed rig made from a pool deck that was damaged in a storm. Grabbed a seat from a civic at the junk yard for 50 dollars and I was good. Most importantly It was built to fit me and I was comfortable in it. I had friends who weren't even able to get into the top 1000 and they spent 1000s on there setups thinking it would equal speed ... shout out to 2K world cup drivers love 4 ever !
Beautiful setup, joe’s going to love it! Pretty slick how you have it set for the other wheels. Great job!
You guys are awesome. I'm glad I found your youtube channel. I have a feeling I'll end up buying some gear from you.
they actually thought of everything. when the wheel isnt attached and its on the side it still has the screen on showing the speed
I love that you put a baby seat there for Joe 😂😂😂😂 Just kidding you and Joe are both awesome. Great job 👏👏👏👏👏👏
Great video. Extremely impressive guys, truly!
Really appreciate it
great video, it would be great if you could add parts list in the video description.
Thank you ,.
I've seen a few of these and I'm still wondering why they haven't figured out to paint the two black strips between the monitors a neutral grey
