He has the ability to see the capitalism for what it is and reverses its rules to benefit the poor. Such a vision, determination, creativity and humanity. The more I listen to him the more I respect him. Truly genious and a hero.

He isn't seeing past capitalism. Capitalism gives him the mobility to do this. He is no trying to flip capitalism, he is actually practicing business successfully, he is merely reasoning the question "what is satisfaction?" And realigning his incentives after asking the question . He is doing this himself, he is not insisting he should use other people's money, and he is taking big risks because he knows they are worth it because he has thought about what is worth having. His thing about everyone being an entrepreneur is a capitalist concept, it's not as simple as tunas good capitalism evil, he hasn't flipped the system this is inherent in the system, in a way we all work towards this ourselves but don't think like job creators and take a hit, so he's found a way to bring encouragement in the individual to bring out their potential, he encourages them with a. System that exists in capitalism, someone just has to come around and do it for it to get done, and he's laid the blueprint

We started our microfinance company in the Philippines, its just a small one, but its amazing, because even if there is pandemic or covid 19 we are still able to run it smoothly, why? Because we are a group of officers from different type of microfinance who work together and brought our members from different microfinance and it works😍😍😍😍 we have 83 centers now with 500 members going stronger. Dr. Yunus got the Nobel by theorizing that process and lobbying the line through Hillary and sacrificing full ownership of Grameenphone. There are very few examples of anyone changing the state of poverty with forty percent interest and weekly installments. Only those who have daily income like grocer, can take loan with weekly installments. That is why the western masters have said that Chudi's brother, there is no limit to happiness, we call to get out of the colonial mentality. So don't be so excited and try to know the truth.

So the loans are cheaper as compared to the loan rate you would need to pay with such high theoretical default probability

Small loans were introduced in Bangladesh by village moneylenders, not Younus. The money lenders what gave to the villagers were small loans.

I recall being very interested in Microlending to poorer nations and not for profit either. Yes I would include a small % (no more than an interest bearing checking account on my end). I am NOT a man of great means but can easily recognize when someone's need is greater than my own. The whole purpose of Humanity. No different than helping a family dig a well and staying for a dinner they might provide. If only this mentality could promulgate and be protected from corruption. Dare I say, we'd achieve a degree of harmony vs harm.
