  • Daniel Gad is an entrepreneur and "Farmer." He worked for a major corporation (AT&T) in the telecommunications industry in the United States where his last assignment was as Vice President and Client Partner in the company. His career at AT&T also saw him as one of the founding members of the first consulting and outsourcing company called AT&T Solutions where he led global deals worth over $1.7 billion multi-year contracts. During his time at AT&T he attended graduate executive programs at MIT Cambridge School of Systems Design and USC Business School.
Daniel decided to leave his post at AT&T and return home to Ethiopia in 2003. Since his return he has developed (and sold) a 28 hectare rose farm (MetroLux Flowers) and now manages and operates a vegetable production farm (Omega Farms). He is currently focused on further developing the vegetable producing and exporting company.

Wow, a journalist/socialite, remembering few memories, Daniel, I would say you've done well; the only basis for the surprise is based on the platform you stood on.
Good luck, and think of what is crucial for Ethiopians; it isn't development for foreign countries. Instead, wealth should be in the hands of the indigenous people.
Land, land, and land. We have owned nothing for the last fifty years.
I am unsure whose wealth and who should be developing that you are exposing us to start investing.
You are confirming that we have the natural resources, but we import our food and everything else. We can change the shallow presentation too much more severe data and factual information to creat a path to be the custodian of our country and resources.

Sorry, It is impossible to plan long term investment with out security. Investors prerequisite is security brother!! Ethiopia need to change its communal (state ownership) land policy to private ownership. Learn the cons of communal tenure regions in history.
