These will outpace just about any 600 supersport by the smallest margin for some and others there is no contest. My riding buddy owns a 2008 Honda CBR 600 double R with for a akro exhaust system, tweaks made to the airbox, ECU tune to accommodate for improved airflow & about 7-8 grand in lightweight carbon fiber components that replace heavier stock parts to save weight. This bike was my stock ‘03 VFR800 Interceptors’ worthiest opponent and just about every time we went head to head I would easily take the 60 ft, then 62mph, then 100mph but by the time I was approaching 120ish mph (and the quarter mile) he would often pass me with a ridiculous turn of speed, at that point the little 600 super sport was fully in its’ stride and my buddy would be in full tucked riding position. His bike simply had longer legs that was that, but anything from a dig my bike dominated 600s, also depending on my opponent I would usually secure roll-on race victories if we started at below 80mph or so. Fastest speed I achieved was 159mph after sitting in full tuck riding position on smooth flat empty 5+ lane highway that eventually took me through a tunnel which is where I hit that speed and backed off. It took a WHILE to get to that speed on a stock VFR800 Interceptor, normally I would back off at anywhere from 140-150mph. I miss that motorcycle.. It was stolen by a roommate who popped the ignition out after I got evicted from a place I was staying at. He had been riding it regularly drunk to go do whatever he pleased and my landlord never said a word to me. One day I come back to pick my motorcycle up come summer and the news is broken to me that earlier that spring my motorcycle was wrecked by that drunk POS & left in a ditch. Never got reimbursed or anything for that bike. Now I have nothing for this summer.

I've been 130mph on my 2007 I just bought this year (1st vfr) and I do know i can push it a bit more (have yet to do it though) but not too much more it seemed, so 145mph seems about right. Yea what converted thg at to MPH it's like 170ish mph. I dont think so either, unless sprocket change, but would it still? 🤷♂️

I need help. 2007 vfr800 My rpm changes 500 or so while in neutral. The oil smelt burnt so I thought 🤔 maybe clutch is going. I get a new clutch, and springs. It's still doing this 😐 It has just under 50,000 miles this is a newer problem

Insomma ha montato una corona da ripresa, la lettura della velocità avviene sul pignone e cosi la velocità segnata è molto più alta. In realtà sta andando ancora meno della moto stock , che come velocità massima ha i 250kmh. Hai capito il furbetto?
@@donvidol ma infatti non la vende a nessuno... Anche io ho una corona da 46T ed il mio spido è falsato di almeno 15-20 km/h. Ma non importa A perchè la moto è molto più reattiva B uso sempre il TomTom quando viaggio, e mi da la velocità del GPS.

Sorry 279km/h? Asking myself how this works with 109 HP? Have the VFR and more than 250 is not possible. Have as well a K1200s and 285 km/h is the max.
Eğer motor 279 ile gidiyorsa diğer araçlar da yaklaşık 240-250 ile gidiyor demektir. Bence km saati hatalı çalışıyor. Araçların hepsinin o yolda 250 basması normal değil.

@@hegemon6749 Your numbers are worthless unless it's verified with a GPS. Your VFR would need at least 20 more hp to do that. Slip-on + KN air filter + Power Commander adds less than 5 hp.
@@FlameHazeist Yep dropped a tooth on the front sprocket for sure.. made to do 155mph power commander, exhausts, air filter and Denso iridium power will get you to 160 max! V Engines are made for power/pull not top end and way too heavy to race a racing bike.. but nice bike none the less ;o) 112HP is 600 sport power.. my old Ninja 636 was reading 173 (sprockets normal) when I GPS tested the speed it was 161 mph (the faster you go the more the speedo loses accuracy, especially in analogue speedo's) That's probably why 1 litre bikes stop reading at 300 kmh but keep gaining a bit after that..

Calling bullshit on stock bike with just K&N air filter, I got a 2015 VFR 800f and that tops out at 145mph /233kph.

The reading of the speed is altered by a bigger sprocket. This bike is running slower than a stock VFR

Definitely something heavy done on the engine....or something.

From mine I pulled out on the clock 257/8 but real speed I think was around 240. This is realistic. And I’m “light” with 77 kg on 180 cm.

I reached only 273 km/h top on my VFR800 112hp.
There's no way a 112 hp VFR can reach that. 288 km/h is what I reach on my stock 172 hp R1...
