Hey Vincent! You’re doing an awesome job with your first few videos and they’re only going to improve from here! Seriously, all of your videos have been so good so far. I really enjoyed listening to them :-) and it seems like a lot of other people are also enjoying these. Awesome work! Matt

Thank you. Although I think my last video was way too long. I tried filming it shorter however every time I'd watch it I was missing out on way too much info. So I had to add more. Future videos won't be this long. My next video the series is going to be about the steroid treatments and how they affected me. But thank you so much for watching Matt. It means a lot to me. Now go to my other video and tell me a funny blind moment do you have had. The videos called Blind moments 101 I hope you and your wife enjoy the rest of your week and great video last night.

Vincent, finally! This introduction video is great! I have read many, many, of your comments on other TH-cam or‘s channels, and you are extremely insightful and I have just been waiting for your channel to come alive exclamation you obviously have a story that needs to be told, otherwise, you would not be stepping out like this, kind of like I did, and let others know how your true life experiences have been. I am very excited to continue watching your videos after this one! Good luck and keep it up!

Thank you so much for the motivating comment. I'm glad my comments in the past for insightful enough for you to remember me. All I want to do is Be positive and help others be positive to.
It is people like you that motivate me to do these videos. I am not normally one to get in front of a camera or spill out my business. But if I can help others by doing so it's the least any of us can do.
Some of the best people in the world that I have met in my life yet has got to be through TH-cam on the comment sections. I want you to know this comment really means a lot to me. It lets me know that I am doing the right thing. Thank you thank you thank you.

Vincent Grasso you are welcome! You absolutely should be doing this! Many people will potentially benefit from your courage and your voice! Like I exclaimed earlier, keep it going!

Hey Vincent! I'm getting so behind on watching everyone's videos. OMG, but I love this. Thanks for watching. You're really great at telling a story! By the way, yes, it is very important to have the wife approve! Haha. I understand how it can be that doctors contradict each other and sometimes they just say "we don't know what's wrong". And I'll be waiting to watch more of your videos to hear what else happened and updates on what's going on!! Where's the video with your wife by the way? And an introduction to your family video would be really cute! I can show little Pablo and he can see his pal for the first time!

Hi Vincent, it's Mel. Holy crap, shortest seventeen minute video on TH-cam. Your storytelling made it zip by. I wish those genetic tests had cleared up your diagnosis and not just your bank account. My docs sent me for genetic testing too when I first got sick, but they didn't help my diagnosis either.
What a roller coaster ride you've been on. I'm really glad to hear your health and energy have otherwise been strong; makes something chronic like an auto immune condition seem unlikely.
Looking forward to seeing more of your vids! I'm shooting for two a week as well, though I'm following the less disciplined approach of uploading on variable weekdays for now at least.

Thanks for the comment and yes I tried to keep it short and sweet cuz I'm afraid of boring people. There's so much more info to give. For example, 2 weeks before the closing on our house a tree 100 foot Pine fell on our son in the house we are renting. I only had one eye at the time working. It was a scene out of a horror movie. But by the grace of God my son came out without a scratch. Just wait till I get to that story. Firefighter said he should have been dead 4 inch nails were sticking in his pillow next to where his head was.
The stories are going to get better. Full detail. And I will always be looking out for your videos as I like them very much. You were obviously meant to make videos. And your story to me was very amazing.
In the beginning of your story when you talked about the doctors putting in those drops when I went for my glasses they dilated my eyes and all I could think of was maybe the chemicals they put in our eyes or what caused the damage. That or that stupid burning light that they put in your eyes for so long. But of course I was thinking everything caused it at the time. I was afraid to use my own mouthwash because I was afraid maybe my mouthwash cost me to go blind. LOL

Hi Vincent Great video. How frustrating for you with all the doctors keep messing up trying to get results . I hope it's not going to be much longer for you and your family .

I agree, but I can tell you one thing I am sick of spending money to find out. Hopefully I get answers soon without much more spending. Thank God for good insurance.

So many doctor visits. I can only imagine how frustrating it must’ve felt at times during all this. It even shows how a second opinion from another doctor can completely contradict a prior opinion.

Yeah. I totally forgot to add the Rheumatology appointment I had in between all those appointments. When I was getting tested for immune diseases they sent me to a rheumatologist as well. They looked at me like I had six heads and asked me why I was there in the first place as my blood test levels were all good. But my neurologist was so anal about finding the answer that she sent me anyway. That's the sign of a good doctor.
I learned a lesson though throw my doctor's visits. That's the doctors do not know everything there in the end of the day normal people like you and I and they make mistakes.
By the way I have been watching your videos on your Channel. That's what I've been doing for almost the last hour while my daughter takes a nap. I am definitely going to subscribe you have some awesome videos. I used to make horror movies when I was a kid with my friends as I got my first camcorder in the early 90s a big VHS RCA. I love that thing.

Vincent Grasso oh wow. Now that you mentioned that added doctor’s visit I don’t think I’d have the patience to go through all that you went through. By the way glad to know that Matt’s video was what got you into making your own videos.
Thanks by the way for the compliment on my videos. I’m planning to audio describe some of my mire visual content. I already have a couple of videos with audio descriptions.

@@JuanAlcazar I will definitely check those out. I tried to watch your short horror movie video but I could not have enough visual to get into it. But a lot of your videos I could just listen to just fine.
I did not come across the audio descriptive ones but I would love to see him. I will look again. Thanks for the awesome comments.

Your trip to the rheumatologist went exactly the same as mine! Wonder if there is a session at the annual rheumatology conferences where they gripe about all the ophthalmology patients who randomly get referred their way.
the rheum guy I saw seemed kind of irritated by my appointment. He was like, "I see here you have one of the genetic markers for lupus, but that means nothing because you have a family history of lupus and probably have it just because of that. Byeeee!"

    • @myvisuallyimpairedlife5674
      @myvisuallyimpairedlife5674  5 ปีที่แล้ว

@@KonjikiKonjiki I agree. When I went into the Rheumatology appointment the nurse came in and was a little frustrated. She said she did not see the point of me getting undressed as my blood work what's normal and they had no clue why they wanted further testing. My neurologist was just a very thorough doctor and she wanted to check the coagulant levels on a certain blood work I had.
The rheumatologist came into the room and said the same thing that my blood work and was normal and there's no point. But she was going to do it anyway and then ask me my story. She knew I was frustrated from the first lady so she wanted to diffuse the issue. I told the first nurse I only do what I'm told I have no clue what's going on.
But the rheumatologist was nice and she listen to my entire story. Then sent me for blood work she even called me about a week or two later see how I was doing. I liked her. I hate more than anything doctors that rush you out like you're at a fast food restaurant drive-through. My primary is it nice guy however he treats me as if I'm a hypochondriac or I'm just wasting his time sometimes.
