You having fun there...lol. Nice presentation and set-up 🍺 👍 🔈 🔊....!
Well done Sir ! I am feeling it. Very satisfying system that you own Sir !
🙏 thank you, there’s always some little tweaks to be made here and there but I am satisfied!
Beautiful looking system setup, quality sound reproduction and great track, what more can I say 👌.

Cheers Jim, seasons greetings! Any snow up there?
@@gustoaudio8711 No snow here in Fife, Scotland but plenty of wind and rain! Happy New Year when it comes my friend.

Great looking system👍 BTW what’s the base under the turntable? does it improve much?
Thanks, it’s a Podium plinth from HiFi Racks Ltd. I can still feel some vibration but not half as much as I can feel on the unit underneath so it definitely does some good. There’s some sorbothane discs placed under the turntable feet to add a touch more isolation but it’s something I’d like to improve
Did you have to use spacers to adjust VTA ? Sounds great.
Thanks, I’ve got a 2mm spacer. It’s ideal but not essential (except maybe MP500). I’ve used the MP200 without any height adjustment on a Rega arm and it was fine
How does the mp300 compare to the apheta 3 cartridge you had on here ?@@gustoaudio8711
I'm using the MP-200 on my P3 50th, and it sounds great without a spacer. 👍 @@gustoaudio8711
And get some proper speakers

Hello, i am currently looking to upgrade my record player to either a rega p6 or p8. One of the main reason for the upgrade is because my current player is being affected by vibration (also got some cosmetic damage). I can see that you have the p8 on an anti vibration base. Is it necessary for the p8 ? Otherwise i might just get the p6 and invest in an anti vibration base
Definitely get a base or even better a wall rack. Vibration is a problem for all turntables.
@@jakbenardete7707 ok, thanks
Just get RP8……beautiful turntable
@@bharatsodha3078 yeah, i really like the look of the p8. Bought a base, have yet to receive it. Looking forward to testing that. Next will be the p8. Will have to save for some time though XD
Rega turntables don’t offer much to combat external vibration, if the problem is really bad the best you can do is wall mount them with Rega’s own bracket. If not possible then well worth using an isolation platform
One of the best upgrades for ant rega table is to replace the arm with Michelle Technoarm A. This is a modified tone arm from the P2 turntable and specifically not the arm from the P3 ( with the spring dial) simpler is better and it’s a fantastic arm.
