Hey up my 2nd injector just went on mine some say it could be to a faulty loom so I have a new one coming tomorrow. If not I’ll buy a injector are these easy to fit or is this a job for a garage cheers

It can take a while depending how long you've had the injectors out as diesel will flow back to the tank.... I used a 2nd battery with jump leads.. crank in 10 second interval and see how you get on
@bazmeredith brilliant thanks they have been out for a couple of weeks, new fuel filter too which I primed with injector cleaner, thanks for the speedy reply, I'll give it a bash again tomorrow with another full battery, cheers
All up and running now after following your vid for setting up new injectors , lumpy idle has now gone , we'll I say lumpy, more like an overloaded washing machine on spin😅 ps I was one tooth out on new timing belt which was causing my crank but no start issue🙈
What was the sympthoms of injectors? I have bad issues about 1.000 /2000 rpm shacking twiching. New VDO egr all rest cleaned no Check lamp. Injectors controled all fine🙆♂️
Same issue as mine engine badly shaking, worse when coming to a stop, I replaced the injectors due to high milage set the lash as in the video , no more shaky engine😄
@@bazmeredith if i were to take injectors out to clean them and put new seals on do i need to put new injector bolts and how many is it 1 or 2 bolts per injector thanks

They need to fitted correctly if not you can cause engine damage
Ive got one injector down so can i just replace that one. Do i need todonthe rest of the steps in your video
Just do the one that you are replacing, however it wouldn't hurt to check and adjust them all while your at it

Try using long nose but mus be careful

How long dis it take to start after as I'm having issues flattened a fully charged battery, is there any starting procedure you Need to follow?

Where the rocker shaft is next to it the cam side there are little pins dose anyone know what they are called I need two of them

Hi i have same car how many hour labour will garage charge to clean injectors and put new seals thanks remove and put back in
2 hours is to remove and refit

2 bolts per injector - they're 'stretch bolts' and have a tendency to snap if reused.
