I tried looking into the sound walls some more, but it seemed mostly primary. I’d be interested in finding out more about using sound walls in upper grades!
I’m a 4th grade teacher too and I have a books read tracker that I will be putting above my library to track how many books students have read throughout the year. TPT has a LOT of options. I can’t get in to my room yet, they’re replacing carpeting in that section of the building. So I live vicariously through those that can set up early. I’m in a new room this year so I can’t wait to get in and set it up and check that off my list.
K&D have blue chairs I didn’t need downstairs, so ask them! I’ve also done a low table with cushions. That would be neat with that table. The ugly blue cabinet 🗄️ looks great! ❤️👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Class dojo is the best I have it at my school. I absolutely love it. I think it keeps track because I used to do diamonds when I was in kindergarten through third I actually hit it because I had 20s the first day next day. I only had three, so yeah, I think class dojo is the best.
Hi teacher! I'm organizing a sharing session at my club and would love to have you as a guest speaker. Your experience in teaching would be invaluable to our members. Let me know if you're available and interested!
Word walls are out. Sound walls are in 😊
I like you idea of keeping track w books you’ve read in your library.

What about "Reading is an Adventure" and create postcards of rge titles with a picture and brief summary? Just a thought. Alicia from CT
