Interesting about teeshirts being a good way to start due to the popularity of the product, and chance of multiple orders from the same person. And a decent profit margin. I think I’ll give this a go, get the systems in place and some money coming in, and then focus more on books, which is where my strongest interest lies. Question - if you have a few different niches, are you setting up domain names, email addresses, websites etc for each one? I’ve got at least three distinct niches in mind, and I’m not sure how separate they should be.
This was an unbelievable helpful video and I'm into the FB part now. Life / POD business changing!!! Only wish the screen being shown was more clear...maybe it's my side yet I have no issues on other sites, videos etc... again not so bad to not give this video tutorial a 9.8/10!!! :) -.1 for bluury screens and -.1 because you went way fast at times LOL... remember many of us have the brains of children in regards to all this so slow down if possible sometimes clicking around so fast it was really hard to figure out. Ok....I have watched and followed you and a few others in the industry. I have quit my 9-5 in march. (food service sales, just needed a change) I have an LLC that i started in 2017. I have a print shop and physically do all the things. (Sublimation and DTF). This has grown quite a bit, and loving it. I have landed a few big contracts for swag and stay pretty consistant. I have started an Etsy and want to get more towards Shopify. I have a website, but it is very neglected. Some of my questions are more curious mwhat I should do.. When I get my custom orders (Not on Etsy), should I make a listing and have the customer check out this way and fullfill the orders myself? Will this start to move the Etsy algorithms to push my site in front of more viewers? Or should I keep what I personally make seperate and why? Or should I get the Shopify up and move all traffic that way. I am not asking for free, I would and will join the community.....but before I lay out the money, I want to sort of get on the right path, then pay to dive deeper. Help please?
Shimmy, thanks so much for this great course! I am to the part with the FB ads, but I've had two cards ( 1 debit and 1 credit) reject FB ads charges for my test ads. Amazingly, I have not been permanently suspended, but I have discontinued everything just because I don't want to have problems again and get suspended! Do you recommend any business credit credit that does this kind of thing and won't reject FB ads and cause me to get suspended? Any advice would be most appreciated.
Hi Shimmy, I have a question for you: I am coming to this less from a "PoD business to make passive income" sense and more from a "I have designs and I'd like to sell them with a PoD strategy." We run an engagement campaign to warm up the account. But not for sales. The audience types are very different and you’re not optimised for sales. In Chris next course video that he’s bringing out I think he’ll say the same. It’s just the newer updated way to do it

Question Please? I have a brand, shopify store yet it has been inactive for several several months. Because I will only use eco friendly, organic and or recycled t shirts. I've really struggled to find consistent supply from any POD companies. I was using Apliiq ( I'm checking them now to see if they have improved) yet they'd run out of crucial sizes or stop carrying things I'd strart to sell. Any suggestions? of a POD company? I'm selling in US market, and have done exactly as you said, but I also want to sell worldwide, so I create a shipping rate for the rest of the world but with free shipping for +100$ orders. Also, why don't you use TH-cam Shop to sell some merch here on your channel? I'm setting up my Shopify store so I can connnect it to my channel :)
so on the choosing where to sell....is that then where the alotted amount per day will be spread out? reason I ask is I'm selling Rugby t shirts and Rugby is big underground in the US so lot's of people involved..... I do have one question that several of us have inquired about and as far as I know has not been addressed yet... @4:01:00 in this tutorial when you make five duplicates of the mockup, when you just drag in your different color tees and drop them onto your canvas, they automatically resize and are placed in the proper spot. Mine do not do that! How do you get them to "snap" to each object and automatically resize? It must be a setting or something. I have Pro so I know it's not because I'm using a free version. Any help in explaining this would be most appreciated! I know its been asked several times on your other videos, and if there are any other 'pro's' on here that know the secret, please chime in! Please help, I'm about to give up due to the amount of time it takes to format each t-shirt, resize, get centered properly, etc...
you have to make sure that when you drag it you're hovering over the right element, it usually highlights then you can drop it and it'll replace... you don't need any settings or to be a pro user or anything
I saw a video where you recommended fourthwall which uses printful. Is this something you’re not recommending anymore? Is there now zero cost when you start with shopify or printify? I’m kinda confused.
How do you offer free returns when is POD and Printify won’t accept the item unless there is a printing error, but not because for example, the customer ordered the wrong size?
I want to build my own brand with the customized tag and branding packaging but Printify has a little bit of limitation on this :( Do you know any suppliers that offer this service?
@shimmymorris1 When you sign up for Printful as a Walmart seller, they tell you to get a UPC code exemption from Walmart. What they don't tell you is that with that exemption, if you publish a clothing product, each size requires a separate sku by which Walmart does not provide. So, when you publish a product, it will only publish one size while the other sizes come up as duplicates with an error code. Printful was aware of this prior to marketing this service, doesn't disclose this to sellers and tries to hide behind an "as is" clause in its terms and conditions. Doesn't work in the state's given that it's fraud by inducement.

Why would I delete this comment? I made sure to only have the video sponsored by companies I use anyway. The video was only sponsored to recoup the costs to make it. This was a 6 month project and an expensive one at that. I use printify for my business regardless of a sponsor so it was natural to have them sponsor it. If they didn’t I’d still recommend printify. Having diverse perspectives of different suppliers isn’t actually helpful. It’s confusing and can send you off down the wrong path. In reality the important element is getting designs out there and getting started. Spending months testing every supplier will just hinder your progress… plus I’ve pretty much tried every supplier at this point and settled with what I think is the best which is why I use and recommend printify.
@@shimmymorris1 i know that, you are doing very well. However, some sellers like me feel that printify is not suitable and want to find another supplier to experience. Your channel is very reputable and I like it very much, but because you collab with printify, the seller's suggestions about other suppliers are deleted or blocked. I am quite sad

I do have one question that several of us have inquired about and as far as I know has not been addressed yet...
@4:01:00 in this tutorial when you make five duplicates of the mockup, when you just drag in your different color tees and drop them onto your canvas, they automatically resize and are placed in the proper spot.
Mine do not do that! How do you get them to "snap" to each object and automatically resize? It must be a setting or something.
I have Pro so I know it's not because I'm using a free version.
Any help in explaining this would be most appreciated! I know its been asked several times on your other videos, and if there are any other 'pro's' on here that know the secret, please chime in!
Please help, I'm about to give up due to the amount of time it takes to format each t-shirt, resize, get centered properly, etc...
you have to make sure that when you drag it you're hovering over the right element, it usually highlights then you can drop it and it'll replace... you don't need any settings or to be a pro user or anything

on a mac you can take a quick screenshot with the CMD + SHIFT + 4, then it goes to my desktop

What am I doing wrong? I can’t sign up to google Ads without it offering me a paid plan
How do you offer free returns when is POD and Printify won’t accept the item unless there is a printing error, but not because for example, the customer ordered the wrong size?
It’s a cost we have to bear. But a worthwhile one to keep the customer happy.

you can do your own tag and some suppliers allow packaging. I don't worry about this, especially not at the start

@shimmymorris1 When you sign up for Printful as a Walmart seller, they tell you to get a UPC code exemption from Walmart. What they don't tell you is that with that exemption, if you publish a clothing product, each size requires a separate sku by which Walmart does not provide. So, when you publish a product, it will only publish one size while the other sizes come up as duplicates with an error code. Printful was aware of this prior to marketing this service, doesn't disclose this to sellers and tries to hide behind an "as is" clause in its terms and conditions. Doesn't work in the state's given that it's fraud by inducement.

I made sure to only have the video sponsored by companies I use anyway.
The video was only sponsored to recoup the costs to make it. This was a 6 month project and an expensive one at that.
I use printify for my business regardless of a sponsor so it was natural to have them sponsor it. If they didn’t I’d still recommend printify.
Having diverse perspectives of different suppliers isn’t actually helpful. It’s confusing and can send you off down the wrong path.
In reality the important element is getting designs out there and getting started. Spending months testing every supplier will just hinder your progress… plus I’ve pretty much tried every supplier at this point and settled with what I think is the best which is why I use and recommend printify.
@@shimmymorris1 i know that, you are doing very well. However, some sellers like me feel that printify is not suitable and want to find another supplier to experience.
Your channel is very reputable and I like it very much, but because you collab with printify, the seller's suggestions about other suppliers are deleted or blocked. I am quite sad
