      This is glorious, I have been researching "calisthenics workout plan free" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Ever heard of - Jamescan Calisthenics Caboshed - (search on google ) ? Ive heard some awesome things about it and my cousin got great results with it.

    I like how he is encouraging getting a good contraction over pure volume. Quality over quantity all the way. It will help avoid injuries by making sure muscles are activated as much as possible avoiding putting excessive pressure on joints. After a while out from calisthenics due to injuries this is just what I needed.

    If you are able to build that much musclemass with bodyweight I fucking drop my weights.
    This seems so much more fun to do, and not as stiff as the meathead-majority.

  • @mihailrusanov3511
    @mihailrusanov3511 9 ปีที่แล้ว

    It's not bad... I saw exercises that concentrate a lot on chest and triceps. I think this routine needs more back/biceps exercises (like chin-ups and any kind of pull-ups that hit the back and the biceps) and much for abs (there are plenty of good basic exercies for abs). Yes, it's a good workout! But for example it could be something like push-ups, wide pull-ups, triceps extensions, chin-ups, dips, parallel grip pull-ups (what I mean is changing pulling and pushing exercises), and may be in the end of each round various abs exercies. The round becomes a little longer, but more completed, I think.

    • @tomjpr
      @tomjpr 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      CMStudioz I would encourage doing planks and leg raises for your core/abs. Start low doing maybe a plank for 20 seconds and then 5 leg raises for 3 sets 3 times a week. The next week do 30 second planks and 8 leg raises and build up with time. Obviously I don't know your fitness level so find an amount which challenges you but is possible for you to complete.

    After less than 4 months of callisthenics training, I can all ready hit the same number of repetitions as he is doing here , on all the exercises that he demonstrates , and those numbers are my maximums , but I do not look at all like him , haha! I look like half of his size. So I guess he does not do the maximum repetitions that he can , and maybe because he does many rounds (he mentions in the end that he keeps doing it for an hour). I only do 2-3 rounds of these exercises (with some extra for legs , like squats) , reaching my max reps every time, and train 5 times per week (the other 2 times I just run 6-7 km).

    • @bondcolour2290
      @bondcolour2290 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I know this is about 4 years too late man, just found this video, I'm a former PT. Benefit of keeping your head up, is that it helps to retract your scapula and traps, which helps open the chest up, hitting more of the chest and using less of the delts/tri's. Also helps with keeping your back straight, as it's much harder to have your back curved with your head up, than it is with your head down.

    People are asking a lot of questions about getting big like this guy. He did NOT get this big on bar work alone. He can maintain it for the most part but he is/was a weight lifter.
    You can get ripped and lean doing bar work but not the chest bulk this dude has.
    Bar work is great workout for a lean and ripped look.
    I have been studying this and all the guys on You Tube doing these vids were pumping weights in the gym before they moved to bar techniques, which is cool...it's just not right to make people think they started from scratch on the bars and got where they are at.
    You CAN start form scratch on the bars and get ripped, but it takes time.
    Remember the saying, "Great abs are made in the kitchen". Same is true for getting ripped with bar routines for your exercise....you have to eat correctly to make the bar work evident. You can't get results if your diet is not in check.

      Do Australian Pullups

      Techmical Try starting with some assisted pull-ups using an exercise band looped around the bar and through itself. Put your foot into the band and do some pull-ups. Concentrate on good form, engage your upper back muscles, and really squeeze on the negative/eccentric portion of the exercise as you lower yourself slowly. This will keep your muscles under tension for longer, allowing them to grow. Go to failure on reps., and leave as much as 3 minutes between sets. This will help you gain strength without too much bulk. Good luck.

      Techmical If you workout regularly then it's just a matter of getting your body used to the movement, meaning, do it more, as often as you can.
