love that color! And I can just imagine how soft the chenille is - great tip to serge those edges so you don't lose your mind with them unraveling. Looks adorable on you! Love you - ❤❤❤
Love everything about that make. I have been wanting to make that and just received pattern in mail the other week. Thanks for the pocket and the serge the ends tip. Have a nice day. I say this often in my comments to the sewing community but: Thank you all so much for every video.
That is so sweet of you to say, Rose! You have no idea how encouraging that is to us! If you’re on IG, tag me when you make this pattern! I would love to see it! 🤩💗
I love chenille but have never sewn with it, so appreciated the tips. That is really beautiful, Andra. I enjoy cowl collars in the winter…all the snuggles, but not tight. 😊
That fabric is beautiful! I have had that pattern for sometime but, I definitely want to sew one now that I see yours! Enjoyed watching your video and great tip on being cautious with the fabric unraveling.
I love a cowl neckline! Yes, I would call that seafoam as well. I ALWAYS need to shorten sleeves unless they start out short haha! That tunic looks so good on you! I love the final look. The fabric kind of has a pinwheel design in it - did you notice that?? I saw it when you did your standing twirl 😊
Thank you so much, Michelle! A cowl neckline is my fave! Yes, that fabric texture is so interesting! I love it, but, it can be challenging to work with! 💗
Looks great on you! Thanks for the review and the warning about the fabric. I have a few sweater knits into stash and will definitely serge the edges before sewing the seams!
Great review Andra and my goodness that fabric is just gorgeous. I have made that pattern but the other view with the patch pockets, your view is so much better. Patch pockets on knit fabrics doesn't always work so I'm going to try yours next time and I've taken note of the sleeve length for a shortie like me 😂 Thanks ❤
Gorgeous. Great colour on you! I bought a sweater knit fabric just before Christmas that is extremely drapy. I tried to make a hip length cardigan with it but it has stretched out so bad before I could even finish sewing it. You have inspired me to use a cowl neck pullover pattern in my stash for a refashion.
@@AndraMakes Only if I can get a picture where I don't look old and/or fat. LOL I have some cute fleece I want to use. might be too thick ... we shall see!
Tunic Looks lovely, I have had that pattern for a few years now, I will definitely make it this winter (it is summer here in AUS). Thanks for the tips. I am 5’3 so will have to shorten a bit. The adjustment part scare me off a bit.!! Thanks again for the video. Cheers from 🇦🇺🇦🇺
Thank you so much, Denise! If you’re on IG, tag me when you make yours! I would love to see it! Enjoy your summer! What part of AUS are you in? I have a friend in Kingaroy! 💗
What a lovely dress Andra. Everything about it is gorgeous and you look great in it. I’ve been contemplating making a sweater dress but I have a bit of a tummy and worried it will fit to closely. What do you think? ❤
Thank you so much, Kay! This particular pattern is fairly close-fitting, so, if you use it, I would recommend going up a size or using a smaller seam allowance if you’re concerned about your tummy. Please keep me posted! If you’re on IG, tag me when you make one. I would love to see it! 🤩💗
I made this in size 14, way too big, I am 5’3” , 38 bust. I took in about 6” on both sides. The shoulder I had to recut to 5”, the picture doesn’t look like it goes way off the shoulder, now it is slightly off the shoulder. I couldn’t believe I was so far off in piking the size.
Oh no, Jerilyn! So sorry to hear that! I’m 5’11”, and can see how it would be too long for you! Sounds like you did a fab job getting it to fit, though! Way to go! 💗
love that color! And I can just imagine how soft the chenille is - great tip to serge those edges so you don't lose your mind with them unraveling. Looks adorable on you! Love you - ❤❤❤
Thank you so much, Jen. And, thank you for the pattern. It is so me. Love you back. 😘💗

Really nice tunic. You usually have to increase length, but not for that pattern. What's up with that?
Patterns are weird. 😂😘
