Tooltime was it allot louder after the delete.? I have a venom 250 muffler on mine but scared to do the delete because I don't want to wake the neighbors
This sounds great, my 07 has a Vortech V2 Supercharger & no cats. You think if I remove the resonators it will be typical Hellcat/Mustang loud? Or still kinda tame bc of the stock muffler?
Canjay yea I guess I’m hoping the OEM muffler will be very restrictive & keep the noise down VS running an aftermarket muffler in its place, no cats & no reso. I might still try it, we’ll see. Thanks.
It’s not significantly louder. In the cab is still pretty normal. Nothing compared to a muffler swap or delete. But it does sound better. Hook up your phone or computer to some good speakers to give this video a more realistic sound. Part number is SLP 31059 I believe. But google it to verify for yourself.
Sorry. Just saw this. The intake gave it more growl. In the video on the way back towards the camera you're hearing more of the intake vs SLP. Cruising and at idle it's barely louder than stock. A little gas to WOT your hear it growl. At first there was a frequency rattle in the fender. I cut out a 4x6 inch hole in the bottom of the air box and it's gone and sucks more cold air because it's blocked off below the air box from the engine bay.
Today I also replaced the resonator by the SLP #31059 and it sounds awesome. You can see :) and I also have the Flowmaster Super 40 on the car

Pretty sure that would be like running straight pipes since you already don’t have cats. I still have cats so its still pretty mild.

Does the resonator delete make the truck significantly louder than stock? And what's the part number for the delete kit?

Any drone in the cabin with the SLP tip?
Charlie Stauhs no drone at all. Sounds stock in the cab. My intake is louder heavy footed or at WOT in the cab.
Did the intake make any sound differences?
