I remember seeing this on Beavis & Butt-Head. They made their own dance moves like "The Dillhole," "The Bunghole," and of course "The Fartknocker Double Inverted Nad Twist."
51 years old, grew up in the NYHC scene in the late 80s. I remember turning my Army buddies onto NYHC. They loved it so much we'd listen to it before doing an OP, or a jump. Even jamming to it in the back of a UH-60 once feom a big ass Sony ghetto blaster!
i was 20 when this came out...all i did was go to HC shows up here in boston and nyc the scenes will never be the same nor will the bands, just lost the feeling.sad
dude the dances are great! i don`t know about other places but in portugal people dance not just like, but a little like that at the shows and the last time they were here when they played this song i looked back and everyone was doing it. SOIA!!!!
Moshing is not about hurting eachother. It's about standing up for eachother and knowing that there's will always be someone to pull you up when you fall! I lost my glasses once in a pit and the entire pit helped me find them lol
I remember seeing this video on Beavis & Butthead. Once I saw it, I began liking the song & the video. I hope someone uploads the B&B comment on this vid. They had their own dance as well. This vid really rocks. Thanks for this vid. :)
I remember going to see SOIA with my brother on December 9th 2000 in Rock City basement in Nottingham, UK. There were only like 40 people there because Green Day were playing the same night at the Arena. Lou comes on stage and the first thing he says is "So I guess you guys couldn't get Green Day tickets, huh?" and everyone lost it xD - One of the sickest mosh pits I've ever been in. Was bouncing off about 8 fat skinheads like a pinball.
to think... this song used to be so true... now there's little integrity left, and it's become a fashion show. only few bands keep it pure. MadBall, SOIA, Terror, etc... keep it real, keep it alive, danny P.
SOIA is the real deal hard core band. One of my favorite songs from Scratch The Surface. And I do have all their albums and even have their alley way crew dragon as a tattoo.
i'm now busy raising the next gen of "bad seeds" but boy oh boy do i miss those times . whenever i am set loose i am still "pickin' up change" but i am sore thrice as long ;)
Well I'm 14, and I really like Sick of it All and what they are. This is a very good hardcore punk song. Not all of us disrespect the music and not all of us judge without knowledge and understanding. Not 'all the kids' are like that, just most of them.
Reminds me of the best pit I ever been in, just a handful of hardcore youth in the middle of a Megadeth concert. Creepy Crawly'ed across the floor and my boys picked a brother up when he went down. Good times.
Remember ten years back, whenever you went to a show there was some old guy standing at the edge of the pit with crossed arms and some old NYCHC shirt on??? Am I the only one who has become that dude?
Yes, the persistance tour will fucking rock this year! Dont forget Heaven shall burn will be there too. Born from pain, terror and Sick of it all are all awesome.
Went to see agnostic front a little while back and i remembered this video, cos the picking up change and gorilla dances featured heavily. Awesome clip. Apart form the dance moves the punk shaking the old guy's hand struck a chord with me, there is a comeraderie you get at hardcore shows that transcends all the talk of what hardcore is and all that crap
This is a great tune and a fun, pretty well made video. It would be great if someone would post the version of this that appeared on "Beavis and Butt-Head". That was hilarious!
Not a hardcore punk guy, but all these different pit dances are fascinating to me. It's way more than just moshing. I wish people still did these dances.
i was just a day ago hardcore dancing on this song that i know for ages he said to us dont lisen to anyone bud only yourself that was the best feeling ever hes old and hes hardcore punk he dont take shit of anyone
I'm 42 years young and still rockin this shit!!!!
Now your 51, and I'm sure you still are.

България приветства ;)
Хард Кор ❤
This is truly THE best hardcore video ever. Completely captures the feeling of a Sick of it all show.
I remember seeing this on Beavis & Butt-Head. They made their own dance moves like "The Dillhole," "The Bunghole," and of course "The Fartknocker Double Inverted Nad Twist."
Something about east coast hardcore, just gets the blood flowing... Oi Oi
Why is everyone complaining about SOIA? Yes, they're not underground anymore but half of the people knew hardcore punk music with this band.

Just like 14 eyes staring you in the face this song speaks the truth even 15 years later.
Brutal band salute from the Basque Country

this band helped me out when i i was going through some shit. back in '96. if it wasn't for bands like this i probably wouldn't be here.
This is an incredibly awesome video.
Moshing is not about hurting eachother. It's about standing up for eachother and knowing that there's will always be someone to pull you up when you fall!
I lost my glasses once in a pit and the entire pit helped me find them lol
wishes alot of kids still loved this music and keep supporting this kind of music cause i want some damn movement again :)
This was one of my favorite bands in the 90's. I remeber seeing them in a small club in Newark nj when i was a teen. This was real music.

'please have more to give than fashion and images.' TRUTH.
Can you two children give it a rest. This was a good tune a few years ago and still stands the test of time. Kiss and make up!

25 years later and still most relevant.

One of the best bands after Underdog and Cro Mags.
+BmorePatriot Underdog rules.
Emotional or emotive hardcore. It started as hardcore with personal, emotional lyrics and then changed later on in the 90s and 2000s.
geile band top konzert erlebt mit denen im SO 36 berlin kreuzberg.danke hard core mugge macht meschugge
If you look at half the hardcore bands now they list "Sick of it all" as an influence - these guys are one of the originals..
the funny thing is i always see people doing these "dances" at shows like pick'n up change, the windmill... all of it. fun shit
awsome song! really cool!
ahhh the original! so many memories!
"its not soooo bad hardcore music"
haha best ^^
This is Hard Core Punk yeah!
Yes, the persistance tour will fucking rock this year!
Dont forget Heaven shall burn will be there too. Born from pain, terror and Sick of it all are all awesome.

Best video ever.
This song reminds me a Deuce snowboard video in the 90s!
This is a great tune and a fun, pretty well made video. It would be great if someone would post the version of this that appeared on "Beavis and Butt-Head". That was hilarious!
