FYI, I've been thinking a channel like this is so needed. Concise game instructions without all the fluff that often makes these videos so unnecessarily long. So happy to have stumbled on yours!
It would've been helpful to talk about resources a bit more, namely: (1) Resources are generated each turn, and they don't roll over! Unused resources are lost at the end of the turn. (2) When buying resources from another player, you're not taking their resource, rather a new resource comes into existence when bought. So if I generate a stone and want to use it and BOTH of my neighbors want to buy a stone from me, all 3 of those can happen in the same turn, even though that doesn't make sense thematically. Also, (4) the coins paid for resources can't be used the turn they are given.
I have interpreted this as "you have a resource area but limited labour to extract". So I have a forest but can only cut down so many trees with my lumber people.

This was a simple and interesting game until end game point tallying overcomplicated it. Still, interesting game and the journey is more appealing than the destination.
Practice makes perfect. The more you play and the more you tally the score, the easier it gets. There are also color-coded score sheets that make it easier.
I wanted to like this video, but it said 5 minutes and the video was only 3 minutes and 56 seconds. I'm pretty disappointed because I bet that last minute and 12:00 could have been so informative. How will I know if I'm actually playing the game right? 7 out of 10 would not watch again Lol, jk

Don't flip your card over if your selling it or using it for a wonder. It's meant to be hidden in those cases, not revealed then flipped back over

Use the phone app, it makes things easy
Sounds like point salad if you are playing point salad with only 2 players.
