just played this last night. the redesign action was described to me as a full rearranging, so for one action, my wife took the 8 tiles she had put into reserve, and then broke apart her whole alhambra and completely redesigned it to make everything fit. the i just read the rule book, and it didn't jive with what i was told, so your video has completely cleared it up for me, thank you :)
Have never bought this game, but I still have it on my to-buy list. I remember a few years ago seeing the Tabletop playthrough. Hopefully I can find a new edition of it out there somewhere. So many games on my list.. I sometimes wish new games wouldn't come out so often so that I can keep up. HAHA.. Great video as usual!
If you were to 3-way tie for blue buildings worth 1 point in the first round of scoring does everyone who tied get 1 point or does it split the 1 point 3 ways and round down so no one scores?
super clear! I got the app version but it didnt explain the scoring well (or at all), In the real tabletop version, is it awkward to make sure the tiles arent accidentally rotated?
Tabletop just did FATE Core... but it was really hard to follow what was happening sometimes. It would be amazing to get your take on FATE Core, or maybe easier, FATE Accelerated !!!
I think the Rules Girl forgot to mention that when you purchase a tile and overspend (because you don't have the exact amount needed), you do NOT get the difference back (in other words, you "waste" that amount).
Yeah, I was a little loose with the language. I mentioned "spend at least ___ amount", and said that paying in exact change is a bonus, but probably should have explicitly mentioned that no change is given. Thanks for the clarification!
Nice concise rules explanation. However your pronunciation of the game's name sort of spoiled it for me. Particularly as you said it sooooo many times. #notallhsaresilent
This is just what a needed! A quick and comprehensive refresher after about 3 years of not having played this game. THANK YOU!
Thanks rules girl! No one ever wants to learn a game with me so we can play for the first time; everyone just wants me to teach them.

Awesome break down! Thanks, this is going to be really handy to help my friends to get to know the rules beforehand our game night.
Amazingly clear and concise rules and setup teach, thank you!
Wow this is absolutely perfect. Well done!
Great job! I needed to learn this quick for a BGA competition.
Incredible! Simple and fast
Thks

Great video! If you're taking requests, please do videos on 7 Wonders (not Duel), Forbidden Island, Pandemic, and Coup!
We did Pandemic a month or two ago! The other three have been requested quite a bit, we'll try and get to them soon!
Oh I must have missed that one. Thanks for responding! I can't wait for those other videos.
The only bad part of this video for me was seeing the new components in a new edition with the sleek, new scoreboard/building market.
Exactly! But this awesome new scoreboard comes only in Gold Edition and Big Box: Special Edition unfortunately.
In three minutes I saved 40 minutes reading the manual. XD Thanks.
Thats a lot of manual reading, you dumb stupid man/woman/dumbass
@@ShineOnYouCD Please, if you don't have anything to write or contribute, do it somewhere else and not here.
RulesGirl: "Your goal is to win!"
Me: "No way that's true 😮"
that was perfect
You must use the matching currency when buying a tile.
Would be cool to see an explanation of the rules from expansions, like The Thief's Turn or The City Gates for example.

withastone No, the text on each tile clearly shows which way round you’re supposed to place it.

RPGs aren't quite our bread-and-butter right now, but perhaps in the future once we have a bigger board game library.
Please do hillfolk!

OMG SO GUD
There is acouples of mistakes in the video according to the edited version.

In Spanish (the Alhambra is in Spain), the 'h' is not pronounced, so this is a legit pronunciation.
