    We found this super helpful, thanks! Some things that were either not in the video or that we all missed while watching it was the starting resource on each board, and the specificity that only brown/gray/board (non-monument) goods may be bought and must be paid using start-of-turn money. If there is a revision, I would suggest checking for those.

    Thanks for guide, but could you clarify one moment. About case with something like “clay pit” which could produce ore OR breaks.
    On what exactly moment, i need to make decision about what will be produced?
    Means - if i don’t like to give for my neighborhood ability to by ore - could i say it will be breaks only, or something like this?

    • @AyyyyyyyyyLmao
      @AyyyyyyyyyLmao 2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      You get to make the choice each turn but can only use that resource once, like all resources.
      Your neighbour also gets to choose if they're buying that resource from you.
      What they want to buy has no effect on what your mine does on your turn.
      So you can use the pit for clay on your turn, but your opponent can pay 2 coins to use it for ore aswell.

    If my wonderboard has Ore and my stage asks for 2 ore, is that stage built for free?

    • @ReposProduction
      @ReposProduction  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      You can only build this stage if you have two Ore so one from your board for example AND one from your resource (if you have one) or from your neighbor that you have to buy (if they have one). If you don't have a second Ore, then you can't build this stage :)

    After playing this game multiple times I still do not have a solid grasp on the Alpha, Omega, or Alpha Rainbow card. The explanation seems overly convoluted. We've tried to discern the intent trying to make sure the interpretation does not make that wonder stage too OP. We, the playing audience, really need a very solid, detailed example of how this game mechanic works.

    • @ReposProduction
      @ReposProduction  3 ปีที่แล้ว +22

      Here are some information about these effects:
      - The Alpha Effect (on Olympia Night side, first stage): the "First card free to construct" is referring to the very first card you choose at the start of an Age (from your initial hand of cards). During each Age, you do not need to own or buy any resources to construct this card. If you manage to construct this Wonder stage during Age I, you can therefore construct 2 cards for free: the 1st card in Age II, and the 1st card in Age III. If you choose to construct a Wonder stage or to sell the card instead of constructing it, you lose the effect for the current Age.
      - The Omega Effect (on Olympia Night side, second stage): the "Last cord free to construct" is referring to the sixth card card in the Age (in the base game) and not the card you discard. During each Age, you do not need to own or buy any resources to construct this card. If you manage to construct this Wonder stage in Age I, you can therefore construct 3 cards for free: the last card in Age I, the last card in Age II, and the last card in Age III.
      - The Rainbow Effect (on Olympia Day side, first stage): Only the first Age card in each color that you don’t already have in your City is constructed for free, regardless of the current Age. If you have already constructed a Blue card in your City, you cannot use this effect to construct a Blue card.
      Does that answer your question?

    • @johnbloomberg83
      @johnbloomberg83 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@ReposProduction Just saw this response so apologies for being slow on my appreciation for the feedback.
      This response very much helps for Alpha and Omega cards. We're going to have to pull out the game this weekend and do some research. If I gain any insights I'll post here.
      The Rainbow Effect I believe is also completely answered, although I think the directions are clearer on this one. I was typing up an example and scratched it because what you have above is perfectly fine.
      OK, I have some homework to do.
      Much thanks.
