@@philsmodelmaking2260 look forward catching up. I should have been a bit more specific as I will probably only wear it around the Airfix stand at the times I’ve said, for some reason I always feel uncomfortable wearing a hat indoors. 🧢🎩🪖
Wow! that piece of the Victory is impressive, thanks for bringing this to my attention. That book cover looks familiar, has it been used elsewhere on a different book? Great to see your work in the Tamiya magazine, well done old son.
@@Deep-Red-0 I do have other pieces of other ship, some decking from HMS Warspite, Iron Duke and Achilles. If I had of thought on I could have showed these items too.
@@Deep-Red-0 I have an idea because I have a little bit of a collection from history, I even have something more valuable than a piece of Victory in my possession so in the run up to Christmas I will do a little video of these things for everybody to see. I think it may be of interest. So stay tuned.
I love watching retro-modelling videos, hope to see lots more!
@@BarrowZigger I will do as many as time allows. Cheers
I'm going to be at Telford all weekend, if I manage to spot you despite your camouflaged hat I'll be sure to say hello!

@@creativetimewasting I'll be wearing a blue club fleece, which is actually the most effective form of camouflage you can wear at Telford!
Its 25 quid to get in, so i won't be going..
It is pricey. I’ve never been so we shall see.

@creativetimewasting please do, a piece from Achilles sounds amazing, I only know of her from the river Plate.

@creativetimewasting can't wait.
@ I’ve just double checked and it’s a piece of Ajax not Achilles. Same class of ship and same battle.
