I know you had limited time but walking when it is hottest time of the day is the biggest mistake you can make. You made a very ambitous trip and you pointed out correctly that to realy enjoy it you should have atleast one more week or limit countries/cities. Have a great time on your next trip :)

We totally agree, which is why we didn't spend much time outside during the hottest parts of the day - taking a break from the midday sun became a nice way to relax during our trip.
We knew it was going to be a rushed trip while we were planning it, two weeks just isn't enough. Sadly we couldn't stay longer, but we hope to come back in the future to slow down and explore more in-depth. We highly recommend others move slower than we did and take their time enjoying these beautiful countries.
Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment!

Which month did you visit? Would May- June be very toasty?

We visited near the end of June and into early July. We haven't been there in May, but if it's anything like Italy (it could be, because they have similar climates and are very nearby), then it should be lovely at that time of year. Warm sunny days, some hotter days, some slightly cooler days, but breezy and very comfortable without melting into a puddle. Thanks for watching!
