Thanks I watched many pip anvil I like the idea with the nut at the end, I was going to just drill a hole in the pip. I am going to weld angle iron to my pip anvil to get a square bend if need be
I came over from hearing Shade tree recommendation of your channel, I occasionally need to make part of a sheet metal cone, I usually have to use a thinner gauge and bend it around my belly, but your pipe anvil may be the way for me. Thanks for sharing
@@mattthescrapwhisperer they dont have bad prices even with shipping, dont mean i will buy all my tools, but building cai for flatbed an jeep, so 12" all i needed for now, prob will build 24 or 30" down road if need 1.
Those cutoff wheels don't like any kind of side loading. I've had a couple come apart on me over the years. I use 30 of them a month doing field welding.

The only way I could find your channel was by including the title of the particular video, "Pipe Anvil..." Maybe some research and a name change will help with your visibility? My original channel name "Busia 1949" didn't do well, the name change helped considerably. Something to think about???
George the link you put in your last vid did not work for me, and as you say the comedian is what the search engine throws up, I then searched for Matt Stewart metal work, which brought me here .

you can cut a slot and hole in the end pieces of pipe for sharp bends

Picked up pan/brake, now just need tube bender, going to cut away half the jeep an lotta fab work
I plan on building a pan brake in the near future, but I have two tractors to do first!

YOU COULD PUT A SMALLER PIPE IN THE END FOR A SWALLER AND SMALLER RADIUS
