Space is always an issue even if you have a huge shop. More space just means you fill it with more junk!!! Thanks for watching! -Mike/ITG

The one I made is about 3 feet long and is mounted to a 2" square tube receiver post to mount to my fab table when needed and get stored on the shelf or on the wall when not in use...it's been handy, and well worth the effort to make one...

I love my pipe anvil, it was one of the first tools I made when I started out...I just did a double tube version on a 2" receiver post to fit into my table...I should clean it up and post a video of it on my channel, along with some of my other tools I've put on receiver posts...

The anvil that we picked up a few months back has a 1" hole in it. The previous owner put all kinds of dollies on posts. Comes in handy quite often! Thanks for watching!! -Mike/ITG

IronTrap Garage Most of my smaller equipment like my chop saw, 24" brake, Beverley shear, hole punch, etc are all on 2" square tubing to fit into my receiver post table and be stored elsewhere when not needed...my shaping dollies and bowling ball are on 1" posts that go into a swing out arm on my fab table...I try to keep all of my stuff as mobile as possible and as interchangeable/storable as possible...

Matt love the video on the pipe vice...wish you could post some plans...not all of us can take one of Gene Windfield classes

Hi, thanks for watching I'm glad you like the video. I say that because I want to respect the information Gene offers in his classes. The cost to take one of his classes is totally worth it and you'll learn so much! If you study the tool in the video you can probably get a good idea of size and how to build, it's pretty simple to make I promise! -Matt/ITG
