    Thanks. Nice to see a review of the 2.0 for ct4 or ct5. almost all reviews for either car are the V/ Blackwing trim, the one that most people cannot afford.

    • @ivgarage
      @ivgarage  ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Hey thank you for the feedback! That really helps me out with which cars I should be doing. The Blackwing's are definitely expensive and rare, people love them, but people do need to see the cars they can actually get their hands on. Like this one.

    • @ivgarage
      @ivgarage  ปีที่แล้ว +4

      That's awesome! It'll be fun! All 3 engines definitely run very well. When I drove all 3, the 3.0TT didn't seem to have much more power than the 2.0T, but of course the Blackwing definitely does

    • @eajcg48
      @eajcg48 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @IV Garage I did some research before buying the 2.0T. I agree 👍 💯. Yes I know there's a big difference stepping up to the Blackwing but it's out of my league 🤑. I test drove the 2016 CTS-V on a track invite. That 664 HP is a BEAST.

    I have the 2021 CT5 550T (V6) as my daily. I do sometimes wish I went with the 350T instead for better gas mileage/agility. The 550T is a beast above 4500rpm with popping/crackling exhaust, stock - but not something I need 98% of the time.

    • @ivgarage
      @ivgarage  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Definitely understandable. That 550T is pretty good though!

    Really nice car and is on our list of cars to consider for my wife who is looking for a new vehicle and doesn't want a SUV/CUV. I wish the 325hp 2.7L was available. I find the 2.0L doesn't have enough power and the V6 as nice as it is doesn't get great MPG.

    Between the Cadillac ct5 and Audi A3 which one is better?

    • @ivgarage
      @ivgarage  ปีที่แล้ว

      That depends on your preferences. I've driven the A3, I think the A3 is quicker, also has more modding availability. CT5, unless it's the Blackwing, no modding available computer wise. Ease of usability the electronics, I personally like the Cadillac, but I'm extremely used to GM because I grew up with them since I was like 7 and they're extremely predictable, imo. The Audi UI is a bit more complicated, but once you understand how they place the items you want to adjust, it can be fairly easy. For infotainment type stuff I genuinely like that GM kept everything all in the same place. Rather than most of all of the euro cars, Audi, BMW, Mercedes, throw them all over the place. Example, with want to adjust any of the feature in the car, Cadillac: go to settings, everything is there. Euro: go into settings and basically nothing is there. It's similar to a smart phone where everything is its own application. Want to adjust your seat? Click on seat, want to adjust your parking settings? Go to the parking app.
      Euro cars make it a bit more complicated, where GM dumbs it down to literally a setting in the settings menu.

    • @spinedoc893
      @spinedoc893 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Why would you be comparing a CT5 to an A3??? The only thing similar is the price. The A3 is even smaller than the CT4. The CT5 is same size as BMW 5 series or Audi A6 or possible the A5 sportback. The BMW and Audi are more sporty and a bit more refined. Some interior pieces might be a little nicer but nowhere near the value for $ of the CT5 (or CT4 if you want a smaller car and don't care about back seat space). The Audi 2.0L is a much smoother quieter and more powerful engine than the 2.0L GM engine.

      Hey my friend i have a Cadillac CTS luxury edition 3.6 L 2014 with 42,000 miles on it but I’m just thinking about trading it in for a Cadillac XT6 what are your thoughts on that?

    • @ivgarage
      @ivgarage  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I personally do like the XT6, it's not as obnoxious and large as the Escalade, but still has 3 rows. It definitely feels nice. The 3.6L in that is the LFX the same in the CTS. GM of course has been using the same engine for the past basically 20 years now, of course more reliable than before.

    I have a 2014 ATS 2.0T with Tri-coat diamond pearl phantom black paint. My main reason for not getting a ct5 is the lack of nice paints and interior design….also the ct5 350t has less power than my ATS and less fuel economy

    • @ivgarage
      @ivgarage  ปีที่แล้ว

      Understandable. But, also keep in mind that even though it may have less power, it can still be quicker than it because of the 10 speed transmission and the final drive ratio. Fuel economy is a bummer though.

    • @BobbyB910
      @BobbyB910 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@ivgarage the ct5 in my opinion does look better exterior styling but the knob and the bumbling infotainment I believe is a akin to the terrible CUE system in the older alpha chassis. I have a “stage 2” package on my ATS my wheel horsepower is 331@5400 21psi stock turbo I average in city 19.7mpg and highway I get 28.6mpg average so I’m kinda jaded and the CT5 also cannot be modified with a tune because Cadillac hasn’t released the codes
